Got approved last May 19,2022 and the consul says i will get the visa in 1 to 2 weeks. But sadly,from Administrative processing in 1 week since May 4, my CEAC changed to " Application Recieved" on June 2.And it says there that my case are open and check back after 2 business days. “Refused” and “administrative processing” are the same thing! So there has been no chance. What’s happening is that there is a delay after the interview.

Hey Josh, my case was a little bit different, it first changed to refused with the administrative processing sentence, the status then changed to administrative processing, but it changed back to refused with only a short paragraph which doesn't contain the key words administrative processing. Hello, So we had an interview at Bogota the 27th of January. Our Visa was put on administrative processing and they received the documents they asked for 3 days later. When we sent the documents we also sent our passports as requested by the council and we're still waiting for them to check our case. Omg on March 3rd it was the worst day of my life, I saw the word refused at my husband visa status, after 3months saying Administration Processing, we had interview at KL Malaysia US embassy on December 3, 2019. & they told us we needed to do the sponsor online, so that’s why they didn’t take my husband passport. I submitted the documents on November 16,2021. They received documents on November 18,2021. Since November 22,2021 system has been showing REFUSED status. The date last updated has changed to December 27,2021 but status is still REFUSED.

Omg on March 3rd it was the worst day of my life, I saw the word refused at my husband visa status, after 3months saying Administration Processing, we had interview at KL Malaysia US embassy on December 3, 2019. & they told us we needed to do the sponsor online, so that’s why they didn’t take my husband passport. After that we immediately did it online & yet they haven’t emailed us or anything so now it’s been 4months & yet no emails from them & on March 3rd seeing word refused broke my heart I cried a lot cuz I’m born US from NY, & filed for my husband on October 2016 & yet nothing new accept the word Refused on the ceac visa status, please I need your help can u tell me why it’s refused I emailed the US embassy & asked them why refused, & they didn’t answer back’ is that a good thing ?

thanks Josh for the info. I saw refused on 8th march and I wondered why the consulate still wanted me to send the yellow 221g, a tax document, and my passport via DHL. I almost dint send them for that(refused) reason but I did. how long am I required to wait since all they needed was a clearer document?

I submitted the documents on November 16,2021. They received documents on November 18,2021. Since November 22,2021 system has been showing REFUSED status. The date last updated has changed to December 27,2021 but status is still REFUSED.
