So for anyone asking what my build is it's at 0:10 however I am still grinding for Sigils and I don't think it's anywhere near optimal at all I don't recommend using what I'm using. I never intended this to be a guide or anything. if anyone wanna give me the Ferry Build sauce let me know in the replies of this comment 👀
Thanks for teaching the loop combo. At first I thought stationary charge attack has the most dps out of all moves. Then I tested your up and down loop and the result is that, the loop combo is insanely more powerful than stationary charge attack. My 60 secs (DPM) just increase by 1.1m from 2.6m to 3.7m at level 99. 👏👏
Thanks for the video. I discovered something fun with Ferry and idk if it is common knowledge. Her victory pose actually summons all three of her pets and dismisses them afterwards. If you use the pose and immediatly input the skills that scale with pets ITS WILL WORK. So if you every find yourself without pets but wanting to get that invincibility buff use the taunt first!
She's the first 2ndary character i picked just based on her weapon and she's very fun, easy to play, and very powerful. Without the summons she'd be strong imo but with them shes soooooo stronk
I don't think I ever say that the loop does do more damage I say "In my opinion It's much better but to each their own" but your comment did make me a bit curious as to what the damage numbers are for each (without pets) and this is what I found Full Charge Attack (no pets): (raw charge) 128899. 1 hit then charge - 169660. 3 hits (basic combo) then charge - 240912 Jump Loop (no pets): 1 Rep - 189198. 2 Reps - 349262. 3 Reps 486765 after 2 hits into a 10 second full charge I got 384351 damage while with all 4 pets out the 10 second full charge did 587248 damage. and with all 4 pets 3 Reps of the Jump Loop gave me 592935. Doing the Loop for 10 seconds (with 4 pets) gave me 1105080. so at least for me the Loop does more damage and faster.
the up down does like 90% of the charged light attack damage in like half the time it takes. you need to think about damage per second, not the full damage of one single move.
@@KasualZenkai For me its about a 10k difference with the charge attack being ahead with all for pets out. I dont know if its something to do with Parts of the skill tree I dont have yet since im only lvl 80, or a weird calculation with damage cap with air attacks normals having higher damage caps. Just saying from my experience with testing. (I do my testing over the course of 20 secs, setting the practice timer at 30 secs and starting at 10 secs in.)
@KasualZenkai i did a test in practice using a 30 second timers, started with purge spirit > Hinrichten > onslaught got 2.2 mil, then i repeated the test but using the normal combo fully charged every time instead of onslaught for another 2.2 mil, i repeated the test one more time but with your jumping strat and im getting 2.7 mil. Your strat has an advantage of always leaving the pets out to attack while also having high scaling while onslaught removes the pets. I repeated the tests multiple times and jumping strat deals more dmg every time even when i fully optimize the pets with onslaught using other abilities to keep it max, if i used those same abilities when jumping i still do more dmg. Ik this isnt a guide but you did teach me a better way to play ferry thank you
Update: Well after getting Ferry specialized Sigil and reaching lvl 98 and unlocking allot more masteries. I did the test again and the Up down Look over took the charge attack by allot. Seems earlier lvl of gameplay the up/down method does less damage but later game it does allot more. Nothing damage wise change in my gear besides that one sigil and I was using the same attack pattern before hand.
Ferry skills are good at huge stun with long range, her square attack got a block mechanic so charge speed will be very good to be as aggresive as possible. Personal sigil is kinda mid imo since onslaught gets no immunity frame mechanics and finishing swipe will get cancelled if hit by anything(without stagger res of course), and low damage cap is an issue too, you will have to use echo sigil to make her decent but it's hell of a grind, so good luck
I havent even watched yet but holy THANK YOU SO MUCH Ive spent my day yesterday searching for comprehensive Ferry guides and haven't found any 😔 now you've come to save the day Im sorry I already love u
as derpy as npcs are there is nothing like the pressure real players feel which results in them probably fucking up. also with randoms u never know what players u will get. u can get someone who has completely wrong sigils where as with ur npcs u can at least set them up correctly.
Tip on the ball at bahamut, u stay on the edge and watch it movement while moving in.m, balls only move forward and bahamut does it twice. Pretty easy phrase
Ferry damage is nerfed at close range, not many people know this, also her hold square with 3 pets does more damage than hold triangle, its better to just tap triangle instead of holding it when you know you'll get back your pets immediately.
I actually found this interesting so I tested the damage at different ranges these are the results I got Basic 3 Hit Combo - Long Range - 96324 Basic 3 Hit Combo - Max Range - 103581 Basic 3 Hit Combo - Mid Range - 96322 Basic 3 Hit Combo - Point Blank - 96363 3 Hits + Hold No Pets - Long Range - 158772 3 Hits + Hold No Pets - Max Range - 166157 3 Hits + Hold No Pets - Mid Range - 232796 3 Hits + Hold No Pets - Point Blank - 232217 so it seems like if you are going for the Square Hold then its better to be Point Blank or Mid Range but if you are just mashing Square then you get a little bit more from being max range. As for Triangle Hold (Onslaught) I'm personally a fan of holding for a little bit and dodge canceling after the whip

I love ferry but I'm struggling with finding the optimal amount of time to leave pets out vs doinh the souped up y attack and building to the next 3 pet y combo. What sigils do you like to run with her?
I like to build her with break and combo master. Since link attacks get you all three pets out you can run up and use a skill to get 3 pets. Hold triangle, let go right before the chain and then hit the chain and get them right back. Use them until they expire then use your second skill to summon them back. By the time that happens you should have a new spot on the monster to whack at to recycle the strategy.

In the endgame you grind to get better and better gear and items to become stronger to do hard content that has better rewards. The progression is part of what makes it fun
The 6th weapon for every character comes from the Endgame and yes that grind is real. ~5% dropchance for a Weapon with 19 differend weapons. Good luck grinding ^^
I’m legit starting to feel like how you are doing the bosses, people gotta start realising soon that auto revive and potion hoarder are a must in an end game. honestly getting sick of having to revive the same person over and over.
The game has been out a few weeks and there is almost no build videos give it a few weeks for the less techincal people to learn the end game mechanics.
