She is a phenomenal actress!! She amazes me. I need to look up the name of the movie that she is in that had me hypnotized by her performance. It’s been a while since I’ve watched it. She plays a mentally unstable woman who ends up in a prison.
YES. I cried like a baby for almost the full episode. This was soooo emotional. One of the best episodes ever. I hope this last episodes of the season are going to evolve like this.
Seriously! Ever since day 1, she was making her Serena character so hard to read! With her facial expressions and all. The story made her out to be pure evil all this time, though we kept wondering if she had a good side to her, and when we finally saw her soft side at the end, it was definitely believable.
Such an amazing full circle moment from the most hateful june could be to the most loving and compassionate June could be. I was in tears , an award winning performance from both. The whole barn scene
Best episode of the season. That acting was phenomenal. Also I am a huge sucker for June and Serena being on the same side. Their relationship has always been incredibly complex, with many lows. But they have always had their high moments. This episode allowed Serena to have to face some of her many wrongs… and she will continue to face them in whatever comes next. And it also redeemed her just enough to at least allow for the path of forgiveness to be an option. Also I just love that June… who has been filled with nothing but hate… took the route of forgiveness. That smile before realizing what was happening with Serena at the end… that was the smile of someone healing from their pain. And it is a nice touch that she could have that moment to forgive and morally be completely sound. Again she has felt nothing but hate. Also, I like that June and Serena might actually be okay with one another. Gilead basically promotes women on women hate. The way the wives and just all women treated the Handmaid’s was very much apart of Gilead directing wives attention and hatred onto them. So I really love when the women of the series are allowed to not hate one another. And I can’t wait for what is to come. Also I get the hatred viewers feel for Serena. But it will always be a bit strange to me to wish a Handmaiden’s life and fate onto anyone. Serena should face consequences… but tearing her baby away from her… never getting to see him again… That just continues the ways of Gilead.
June needs to learn to forgive so she. can move on and eventually live as a normal person that isn't consumed by hatred and a need for revenge. That doesn't mean that Serena necessarily deserves the forgiveness she gets. The cycle of cruelty should not continue, but it is absolutely so typical for controlling authoritarians to only learn their lesson once they are impacted personally. How many times have we seen anti-gay politicians for example be so cruel, but then suddenly they have a gay child and they change their mind? Gilead promotes "women on women hate" specifically because women like Serena helped create Gilead to be that way. So it is sad what is happening to Serena, but she has a lot more work to do to right her wrongs than simply crying on a hospital bed.
yesss gilead survives and thrives on women vs women hatred. bc if the women were to team up together they could be so powerful. just as irl women r often pitted against eachother when they could do sm good if they worked together
Throughout the entire series from episode 1 I like possibly everyone else have had such strong mixed emotions about Serena which is what the show wants us to feel because that’s how June feels . On one hand Serena is ruthless and stubborn but then we see her vulnerable and a flash of what she used to be like prior to gilead. June in some ways wants Serena to suffer but june Doesn’t want this cycle of ripping baby’s from their mothers to continue either . That’s why june gave Serena that talk in the barn.. and Serena FINALLY gets it now. The comparison of june to an archangel said by Serena, compelling and true af . June is the representation of Michael the archangel, the Right hand warrior for God that battles evil and reigns Justice on his enemies. There’s religious artwork of Michael the archangel standing over satans body with his sword raised to the heavens, if that doesn’t represent june idk what does.
The ending of this last episode has shaken me to the core. So much mixed emotions of happiness and sadness and anger and confusion. Such a bittersweet and interesting way to have this story go. I cannot tell who or what I am rooting for anymore. And watching Serena cry and apologize for an hour was so damn satisfying. Like just hearing her finally admit that she has been a horrible person is music to my ears. This season is fantastic, I don’t care if anyone says it’s “boring” or filled with “unnecessary filler scenes”. I’m so emotionally invested in a tv show it’s not even funny🤣
“Maybe there’s a manger” that made me laugh so much!! Also this episode was close to perfection!! These two women have been on a crash course to each other, and to see it end with empathy and forgiveness along with the supreme acting from Yvonne and Lizzie is just everything!
I don't know what happened. They had me actually crying over the idea of Serena's death and I thought I would welcome that. What's happening to her now is justice, but it feels so wrong. Very well done! I'm definitely feeling things I never expected to feel and that's a sign of GREAT writing!
No justice has not happened to Serena until someone pins her (Wheelers will do) to Impregnate her, forces her to copulate with the driver, takes her child, watches her urinate, cuts off another finger for reading and writing, dresses her like a Vegas escort and forces her into human trafficking like Jezebels, taunts her with her child on television, takes an optical nerve, watches her close friend die during child birth only to have the baby harvested, makes her scrub and cook, get slapped like Rita, or threatened to be hung by Aunt Lydia, or holysmokes poor Emily's female castration as well. I only wish Commander "Pedo- Puttnum could have been alive long enough to have her as his handmaid for first assignment. *THEN maybe that would scratch the surface of justice.*
Listen, I’m all for Serena not getting redemption for her part in all of this. But that last scene watching her plead To June to not take her baby away broke me . I do not wish that level of trauma on anyone. Beautiful episode with Both Yvonne and Lizzie, they shine anytime they’re on screen together.
I think this episode has been one of the best because FINALLY we are getting some dialogue instead of just a sentence or two here and there and then the characters staring at the camera. It's so interesting to hear Serena scoff at basic things like evolution and baby formula. It's important to have stuff like that in there because it shows that this all can't be quickly resolved by mere affection or apologies.
I rolled my eyes at the baby formula thing, due to how some commenters carried on when Emily escaped with Nicole. A bunch of Americans commenting on a review channel got hysterical at the idea that Emily would take a baby with her that wasn't hers - they wailed that Emily wouldn't be able to breastfeed her, and what would she eat? "Do they even have baby formula in Canada? That baby's gonna die!!!!!" GMAB. Yes, we have baby formula in Canada.
@@nceBdonim.-_1 I don't read Russian, so I had to find a way to translate your post. I'm sorry, but this conversation happened years ago on one of the review channels, and it would be difficult to find again. I think it might have been on Pay or Wait, or possibly another one. I do remember that the channel is hosted by a black American woman, though I don't remember which one (there were at least three such review channels at that time). The episode being reviewed was the one in which Emily took baby Nicole with her to Canada. I posted a reply, informing them that yes, Canada has baby formula, and even running water and electricity and indoor plumbing. There are far too many Americans who still think we're some primitive wilderness here, without modern technology.
@@Shan_Dalamani It's not about the US or Canada, Gilead is reflection of conservatism that opposes science. The comment about formula wasn't because she wasn't trusting Canada to be advanced. How is that how you are reading this show? It's that she doesn't trust formula whatsoever. She doesn't trust evolution whatsoever. She doesn't trust society or progression. It's honestly weird that you're watching this show and the commentary as an attack on Canada and stereotypes. That's not what the show is about at all.
@@1bwash Re-read my comment. I mentioned some weird people saying ridiculous things about Canada THREE SEASONS AGO. Weird Americans wailing about how they weren't sure that Canada even has baby formula. Serena was not part of that conversation. I know the difference between Serena's snippy attitude regarding evolution and formula and the attitude of those ignorant people posting comments on a review channel years ago. Reading comprehension is your friend.
Yvonne Strahovski MUST win the Emmy for this episode, she is a powerhouse! She made it impossible for me to hate Serena. June is a great character, I feel that she also did a lot of needed healing by forgiving Serena. Moss was also terrific. The show is better than ever.
Yvonne and Elizabeth are just brilliant. It amazes me how much the actors of this show, especially those two, can communicate with just expressions alone. You don't need a voiceover to narrate their inner thoughts, the actors alone are talented enough to say a thousand words with just a look, and that's real acting. I'm also constantly impressed with the people who play Luke, Emily, and Aunt Lydia for this as well. This show is just full of incredible talent.
It's hard for most people to feel empathy until they are in the same situation. Serena is experiencing first hand what June has been put through. The acting by Yvonne was phenomenal in episode 7. Wow. I see an alliance forming here between June and Serena. Nothing bonds you to someone else like going through a traumatic experience together and caring for someone.
Favorite episode of the season. I cried during June’s whole speech while the piece “Nick says goodbye” played in the background. Perfect, just a perfect episode
I agree. The music also made it so emotional to. Ugh they know how to pick the right music for the scenes. Awesome episode…I didn’t want it to end. 1 hour goes soooo fast. Well it’s not really 1 hour with the dumb ad’s.
Serena screaming for her baby at the hospital... I hurt for her but then I was like NO! She needs to FEEL this. She needs to feel everything all these women have felt for years in Gilead. 100s of women went through this over and over again because of HER!!
I know I'm not supposed to feel bad for Serena but god that last scene gave me chills and I felt sooo bad... this episode was absolutely amazing and one of the best! ❤ And respect to June, I don't know if I would be so kind after everything, it shows what a great character she is! ❤
Let us be honest here this is the best series ever. Everything about it excites me and I cannot wait for the next episode. Alot of mixed emotions was depicted from this episode
@@terrib627 Entonces podrías prescindir de la mejor serie de la historia y la que seguramente sea la mejor de este año, pero eso no hace que dejen de serlo.
I didn't think this would happen, but they really made me feel bad for Serena 😅 I love the idea of her and June being on the same side, and I hope she's able to get her baby back
Wow.. I mean.. WOOOW! I am blown away by these two actresses! Yvonne Strahovski is nothing less than incredible! She reminds me of a young Jessica Lange, tall beautiful with an insane ability to spellbound you with her amazing acting skills! This show is simply a piece of genius 😲
June is not like Serena and that is what makes her a decent human being. Having compassion towards your worst enemy because nobody deserves to go through what the Handmaids went through. Serena is also a victim of her own creation, but she also has a rebellious side to her (hence reading to the board of commarders, shooting Ezra, confronting Fred about r*pe).
I don’t feel sorry for Serena like many are commenting here. The flashback to that handmaid dying because the child was a priority. Who cared about her? Who cared that the baby’s mother died and will never know her? They were celebrating while a handmaid was allowed to die. Of course, once it was Serena, then she finally got the gist of what handmaid’s went through. Also, let’s not forget, she doesn’t really regret anything she did because like she told June, she still thinks it was all worth it. The countless murders, rapes, tortures handmaid’s and other women endured, and Serena still thinks it was worth it because as long as it wasn’t her. She destroyed countless lives to have her own baby.
I did not see Serena celebrating with the other women, she is standing away from them and the look that she and June shared said it all. I have seen good in Serena and I believe that June will fight to get Serenas baby back to her as Serena will get Hannah back to June. Together, they can be an unstoppable force. Yes, I have hated Serena but I see her with a different perspective. I believe that after everything that has happened, she will rise above and become the person she was meant to be outside of Gilead.
@@patriciafredrich5128 yesss women should not be pitted against eachother, thats gileads thing. seeing the two of them work together would be amazing bc they r both really smart and i think they could be powerful if they got along
I'm pretty sure Gilead was all her idea, she is the whole reason everything is happening. And she abused her power more than once. Her little tiny acts of good, do not make up for all the evils she's brought to the world. And let's just point out, the only reason she's don't with Gilead js because she was being treated like a handmaid. Not that she feels bad for her actions
For five seasons I wanted Serena soo badly to go through what she created. But this episode made me feel soo bad for her. June is such a powerful character. Soo many full circles and truths!!!! Ugh. It's getting so good.
It's a really a case of "careful what you wish for". It's one thing to want a character to suffer. It's another to actually watch it, especially if they're not a purely evil character. I've had that happen in a lot of other shows where I really hated a character and wanted them to suffer. Then when they did make the character suffer I wanted it to stop immediately.
@@TheTardisDreamer one show I recently finished called Wentworth had a very cruel and methodical villain who finally got her being buried alive. Now that was justice for a minute. Haha yeah its the whole mother thing. Funny how things change out of nowhere and your helping your enemy. On screen and in real life. Haha
@@kurtisjay Ooh Wentworth is on my list of shows to watch as an Australian :) If you want more of Yvonne Strahovski, she's in the Australian miniseries 'Stateless' (on Netflix) and does an amazing job.
Ugh after all this time, I can’t help but feel nothing but sorry for Serena and somehow always feel myself rooting for in the end. Although she did horrible things, I also can’t help but still see her as a victim. Hoping this gets settled!
Both of them deserve awards for this episode, it was so realistic and so well acted. Amazing. I laughed out loud at June’s “maybe they’ll have a manger” comment 😂
Reminder that Serena didn't lose her baby the same way the mothers and handmaids of Giliad did. An officer came in and gently explained that her child SHORT TERM was with child protective services and that she was being detained FOR ACTUAL WAR CRIMES AND TAKINE A HOSTAGE and not "Sins against God" or something. It's short term. She's not being told that she's just a vessel or not the child's mother in some way.
@@louwinters508 But even then, Serena isn't a handmaid and this isn't Gilead. She's not at risk of legally loosing her child over something beyond her control. She did this to herself.
I feel nothing for Serena. This is the same person who wouldn’t allow June to see her own baby while living in the same house. I really question those in the comment section that sympathize for someone who inflicted so much pain and misery in others
One thing that's easy to forget about Serena during scenes like these is her hunger for control. The second she tastes even a little bit of it she goes back to her awful self. If they offered her a high position in Gilead would she really refuse? Even after all this? I think that's part of why she wants a baby so badly. A whole little person for her to have control over. That's why she hated needing June for the breastfeeding so much.
@@lisahuber9329 . You are correct. The same people agreed with what happened to Fred. But, have so much sympathy for Serena. It is because she is a woman. There is always more sympathy and consideration given to a woman no matter what pain and misery she inflicts.
These women deserve all the accolades and all the awards. Elisabeth is simply amazeballs and Yvonne is pretty spectacular as well. Both such incredible actors. I love this episode too. Can't wait to see where they go. Just so damn good.
I agree. Remember Lawrence didn’t believe in a lot of What Gilead was doing. He didn’t have a ceremony. He helped Emily, June, and Nicole get got out of Gilead, he helped June, the Martha’s and all those kids escape Gilead. The only thing I am wondering is will Commander Lawrence find out June let his wife die????? Did he find out and this is revenge on June….is he lying about something?
Is anyone curious to know Lawrence’s angle? I’ve been wanting to know since the last season. I remember when he was first introduced in the show. I really liked him because he was somewhat trying to dismantle Gilead in a way. But now, what is he even doing? He’s all over the place and incredibly hard to read.
I always liked him but he was always impossible to read. He’s even more mysterious and I cannot figure out his angle. I have a feeling he’s going to do something shocking, could be shockingly good or shockingly horrific. That’s the thing with Lawrence, it’s impossible to guess.
He is my favorite character BECAUSE he is so hard to decipher..I think his wife's death is still deeply seeded in him and he knows she wanted things to be better so I think he is trying to do that as like a nod to her maybe..but on the other hand he is hard to read and he doesn't like to be bored so who knows what his angle is 😉
I think he's still trying to dismantle Gilead from the inside. They did so much crazy stuff to him in the earlier seasons, I doubt he would ever get back on their side. He's just trying to play the long game.
I'm not a mother... I never will be. But serena is manipulative and selfish. I honestly don't trust that she was even sincere in this episode. She built a society that torchered women. She absolutely needs a taste of her own medicine. She experienced maybe a week of torture and abuse all these women go through for years to this day. I enjoyed watching her scream from her injustice. She should be in prison for life. Way to go Luke. I'm so glad he called the cops.
Karma freight train for Serena Joy! It's redemption arc or nothing. Now they will both have to return to Gilead to save Hannah & Noah. There is no bucket of popcorn big enough for this 🍿
Serena can never undo every awful thing she has done, but I hope she does everything to get Hannah back and fight the Gilead she ran away from. That would give some justification for her being free and with her child. I really hope these two strong women fight together from now on, not against one another.
They did and excellent job having me confused about my feelings now for Serena. This is fantastic acting and writing!! I love Junes compassion above all. She does what is right regardless if it benefits her or not (majority of the time😂).
I feel like June an Serena are going to come together stronger then ever right now so they both can get there children back ! Gonna be a great next episode Serena is turning into June !
Best episode EVER: took me hours to get over this episode. It absolutely destroyed me. It was soul destroying. Esther and Serena are both in hospital beds, one screaming from being pregnant by force, another child being taken by force. I LOVED this episode: it was my absolute FAVOURITE. And YES, I felt terrible for Serena. TERRIBLE. It’s GREAT storytelling and a fantastic script. I absolutely ADORE this episode. It’s just amazing. I’d change the whole “Do you understand” with “This is Gods mercy”
I went from wanting Serena dead/ wanting her to feel exactly what June felt but now I feel so bad! Now I just want both of them to work together to bring down Gilead!
This episode was crazy it was perfect reminded me of the old June before she went avengeful Angel it showed her compassion her empathy the one thing Giliad can’t take from her
I do not feel for Serena at all lol. This is only a "FRACTION" of what June has gone through. I want the wheelers to take her baby and make her feel what the other handmaids felt being ripped away from their children. I am sure at the end she might be reunited with him, but I just need her to suffer a bit longer ;)
This show is an Entire Success!! I wouldn't miss an episode! Brilliantly done, intriguing, mind-blowing, just an amazing production. Bravo, bravo, bravo!!
I can not get over how absolutely amazing these two women are playing these characters. Yvonne did such an amazing job acting out being in labor that it reminded me when I gave birth and gave me cramps. Knowing she actually went through this not long ago had to have helped alot. But, I am in awe after every episode since season 1 episode 1. This show is phenomenal.
I experienced so many different emotions in one episode, I don’t even know what just hit me. I’m over here just jaw to the floor. Excellent acting and writing, as always, but this episode was mind blowing. The mix of unexpected sympathy for Serena and still not trusting her… Watching June go through a roller coaster and seeing her pull out of it with grace and compassion… but then she is watching Serena through the window screaming “don’t let them take my baby away”, I think she remembered in that moment all the pain she went through. Luke only did what he thought was right/what June wanted. Also I think he is trying to compensate for his lack of efforts previously when June was in Gilead..
Ep 7 was deeply emotional to me (seeing brianna, alma, janine together on screen again 😢 & the whole birthing + post birthing scenes), and I was dreading this. Scenarios I thought would happen - Serena might loose the baby - She deliver her baby and give him to June & surrender to Gilead claiming that she lost the baby and live as a handmaid/unwomen sorta paying for her crimes willingly (keeping in mind that her baby is safe -atonement) and vow that she would rescue hannah for june if she's given power - She had her baby, and June would abandon them both at the barn sorta like payback. - or both of them escaping together (which i knew wont happen), though it happened, this is extremly brutal (despite me despising Serena). I was ventilating the whole time 😳 2:26 that dread in her eyes (I felt that in my soul 😢) & that scream in the end (reminded me when June saw Hannah in Gilead for the first time with Serena 😿). This was Yvonne's emmy episode 👏👏👏 Talking about next episode, i was sure Joseph would move forward with New Bethlehem and moved fast to delete Comm Putnam. I hope his vision is not sinister
I LOVED this episode because though June and Serena had a moment … Serena doesn’t get off because she’s done great damage and this episode was not ABOUT Serena at all. This episode was about June and her humanity and her capacity to forgive and her ability to do the right thing. The episode proves that Gilead did NOT make June the monster she thought she was becoming and I think that is beautiful.
Mrs.Wheeler is the new serena it appears. I cannot stand serena and what she has done and I feel so much conflict about it lol I'm glad june showed herself though that Gilead didn't strip away her humanity. I want serena to be punished for her despicable deeds but I would rather see her right her wrongs as best she can..because she can never truly undo the damage she has already done to so many but she can try
I don't understand how they have the power to take her baby, and keep her hostage like that, isn't Canada free? and since when is it illegal to go to no men's land? and how would they know they were even there if June drove to the hospital?
June needs to learn to forgive so she. can move on and eventually live as a normal person that isn't consumed by hatred and a need for revenge. That doesn't mean that Serena necessarily deserves the forgiveness she gets. The cycle of cruelty should not continue, but it is absolutely so typical for controlling authoritarians to only learn their lesson once they are impacted personally. So it is sad what is happening to Serena, but she has a lot more work to do to right her wrongs than simply crying on a hospital bed.
Serena has to answer for what she did but I really don't understand people saying she deserves to suffer as much as the handmaids. What is this, an eye for an eye? So a rapist must be rape? A murderer must be killed? This is not what justice is about. That's just revenge and this is what supports the idea of death penalty and torture as legal punishment. Justice is about taking responsibility.
I had to search this promo, because I was worried they would go back to square one with June and Serena, glad to see they're not and things are moving forward
I thought I would be laughing at Serena when exact same thing happens to her. June had reversed all that anticipated feelings from me. I ended up feeling compassionate to Serena. I am wishing that the two will make a powerful team that would stand against Giliead. This isn’t Gilead and I am not you” with this, June just showed & proved to Serena everything that’s wrong with Gilead. Great acting by Elisabeth & Yvonne. Looking foreard to episode 8 of Season 5.
Okay I am beyond sad the show is ending but June is a driving force of resilience. She is amazing and to help Serena like she has shows true strength!!!!!!!
i wouldn't say it's underrated but it's definitely not as popular as it deserves to be, even though it is popular. Should be a phenomenon like game of thrones or breaking bad were
Episode 7 was the BEST so far this season. Yvonne Strahovski blew the roof and went beyond and I love June's strength this time, she's making a new path and we must acknowledge that she and Serena lives will be interwined, for matter or worse and no matter what and I suspect they will need each other in the years to come, that's it, if Serena does not die somewhere in the future. Hope the is the start of a long (VERY long) ark of redemption for Serena but I hate to admit that she must live trough this pain so she can finally feel what the handmaids feel before. My stern and solid clap for this episode. Keep going.
You know that couple honestly think Serine would give them her baby, that’s just laughable. That’s never going to happen there is a long list of people she could and would give the baby to. Also I’m still kind of hoping that American diplomat is the real farther.
After everything that serena has done, I feel sorry for her. No woman deserves to have their child taken away from them 🥺. I hate Serena but this is sad. I hope she gets her son back.

“Maybe there’s a manger” that made me laugh so much!! Also this episode was close to perfection!! These two women have been on a crash course to each other, and to see it end with empathy and forgiveness along with the supreme acting from Yvonne and Lizzie is just everything!
I guess this means Serena can't yell "Were you born in a barn??" when he forgets to close the front door.
@@DenaInWyo 🤣🤣
I don't know what happened. They had me actually crying over the idea of Serena's death and I thought I would welcome that. What's happening to her now is justice, but it feels so wrong.
Very well done! I'm definitely feeling things I never expected to feel and that's a sign of GREAT writing!
Feels right to me. I’m loving every second
@@TBrown-sx2dg same! When Luke called immigration I was like 'heck yes'.
There is no justice in eye for an eye.I think that is why that feels wrong
@@МаринаТоркановская Good point! Although, I didn't shed a tear when they killed Fred. He deserved everything he got.
That baby's gonna die!!!!!"
GMAB. Yes, we have baby formula in Canada.
@@Shan_Dalamani можете пожалуйста прислать ссылку на обзор, если не трудно😍. Спасибо
I love that June got both types of closure where the person who tormented her died and another where she got to forgive.
SO MUCH THIS
Yvonne Strahovski MUST win the Emmy for this episode, she is a powerhouse!
I like the fact that despite everything June retains some level of compassion
Yesss omg.. I had tears.. cause Noah needs his momny..even if she is a witch
That episode was amazing. Yvonne did a fantastic job! I was just blown away by the performance.
Best season yet.
Never seen such good acting in years. Elizabeth is amazing and Yvonne really delivered. Both need to win something this year.
Karma came pretty fast for our Serena 😂
I found this to be one of the most beautiful episodes, darn them with the ending.
Let us be honest here this is the best series ever. Everything about it excites me and I cannot wait for the next episode. Alot of mixed emotions was depicted from this episode
Mmmm GOT tho
@@Hipocahontess I could do without GOT's incest storylines (same for HOTD).

@@Hipocahontess GOT had awful 7 and 8 seasons
I didn't think this would happen, but they really made me feel bad for Serena 😅 I love the idea of her and June being on the same side, and I hope she's able to get her baby back
Say what you want but this relationship is very dynamic and compelling
Wow.. I mean..
Exactly. She so deserved getting her baby taken from her.
YESSSS
The way we all got mixed feelings and confused strong emotions right now is how June probably felt helping Serena
Ugh after all this time, I can’t help but feel nothing but sorry for Serena and somehow always feel myself rooting for in the end. Although she did horrible things, I also can’t help but still see her as a victim. Hoping this gets settled!
Handmaids Tale becoming real is something a lot of Videos of 'Some More News' are about without EVER mentioning the Show at all.
That' a normal response to an abuser
SHE'S NOT THE VICTIM HERE
I fell no remorse the prison she built is the one she will rot in
she created giliead, so I am not sorry for her...
Both of them deserve awards for this episode, it was so realistic and so well acted. Amazing. I laughed out loud at June’s “maybe they’ll have a manger” comment 😂
Man this hit me right in my heart ! I never ever thought I'd ever sympathize with Serena yet there I was 😭😭😭😭😭
I’m hoping this will be the catalyst for Serena to help June get Hannah back!
I think she's worried the Wheelers are going to get him.
Yeah, it's very interesting how some are really eager to forgive and forget everything Serena did AND not only that, but eager to turn on Luke!
Just call Mark Tuello - he's a remedy for every Serena's problem.
With Lawrence I’d imagine he isn’t exactly lying about that but I’d bet there are some things he’s leaving out.
Sara with his wife I’d guess no, June is the only one who knows what she did so I don’t see how he could have found out.
I really like the idea of June forgiving Serena and then teaming up to help each other after years of hatred between the two.
I liked it for a few minutes, but this is a romantic idea of redemption... Serena just doesn't deserve good things anymore, the damage has been done.
Yet Serena was instrumental in creating Gilead. She is a monster. She was just in a pickle at the moment. Even a monster can make nice briefly.
Yeah, I am not sure what he is about these days.
Ok this
I always liked him but he was always impossible to read.
Episode 7 was the most intense beautiful episode of this serie so far!
I feel like June an Serena are going to come together stronger then ever right now so they both can get there children back ! Gonna be a great next episode Serena is turning into June !
Give the show and the actresses all the awards
Best episode EVER: took me hours to get over this episode. It absolutely destroyed me. It was soul destroying. Esther and Serena are both in hospital beds, one screaming from being pregnant by force, another child being taken by force.
I LOVED this episode: it was my absolute FAVOURITE. And YES, I felt terrible for Serena. TERRIBLE. It’s GREAT storytelling and a fantastic script. I absolutely ADORE this episode. It’s just amazing. I’d change the whole “Do you understand” with “This is Gods mercy”
I think it's time for Yvonne to win that Emmy......
Wow what great perfomances both of them..that last episode made me cry..amazing acting
I went from wanting Serena dead/ wanting her to feel exactly what June felt but now I feel so bad! Now I just want both of them to work together to bring down Gilead!
This episode was crazy it was perfect reminded me of the old June before she went avengeful Angel it showed her compassion her empathy the one thing Giliad can’t take from her
Wow, just... wow. This show continues to impress. This show is hitting it's stride, and somehow getting more intense and unpredictable.
Wow I actually didn't want her to lose the kid. I thought I would.
I love Yvonne Strahovski so much!
Sooooo good!! Couldn’t love this show more than I do!! What a masterpiece!
Poetic justice at its finest.
When she tells Mrs wheeler that it's her baby I think they took away her baby so I think we're going to get that Justice finally!
They both did such an amazing job this episode. I can't wait for the next episode.
Yep Luke..is doing that. He wanna be revengeful in some way..
But June seems like she isnt gonna let him be
I hope Yvonne gets her emmy for this season
I can never quite feel sorry for Serena. She’s so manipulative that I don’t even think her bond with June right now is genuine
Ep 7 was deeply emotional to me (seeing brianna, alma, janine together on screen again 😢 & the whole birthing + post birthing scenes), and I was dreading this. Scenarios I thought would happen
- Serena might loose the baby
- She deliver her baby and give him to June & surrender to Gilead claiming that she lost the baby and live as a handmaid/unwomen sorta paying for her crimes willingly (keeping in mind that her baby is safe -atonement) and vow that she would rescue hannah for june if she's given power
- She had her baby, and June would abandon them both at the barn sorta like payback.
- or both of them escaping together (which i knew wont happen), though it happened, this is extremly brutal (despite me despising Serena). I was ventilating the whole time 😳
2:26 that dread in her eyes (I felt that in my soul 😢) & that scream in the end (reminded me when June saw Hannah in Gilead for the first time with Serena 😿). This was Yvonne's emmy episode 👏👏👏
Talking about next episode, i was sure Joseph would move forward with New Bethlehem and moved fast to delete Comm Putnam. I hope his vision is not sinister
One of the THE BEST EPISODES in the history of television! Wow!
Are you kidding me with this show?? How does it get better and better? I never have ANY idea of where it’s headed and I love it!
Wondering if Serena will be deported back to Gilead, where she will be a handmaid in the same house where Naomi gets post as Martha.
Episode 7 was absolutely amazing !!!! Amazing performance from both amazing women !
Ivonne is just perfect this season, she made me feel empathy for Serena.
I wondered that too there’s a vlogger here page is called pay or wait. Check it out she does good reviews.
Luke called them.
So it is sad what is happening to Serena, but she has a lot more work to do to right her wrongs than simply crying on a hospital bed.
Serena has to answer for what she did but I really don't understand people saying she deserves to suffer as much as the handmaids. What is this, an eye for an eye? So a rapist must be rape? A murderer must be killed? This is not what justice is about. That's just revenge and this is what supports the idea of death penalty and torture as legal punishment. Justice is about taking responsibility.
Looks like the wheelers got Serena right where they want her
Handmaids Tale becoming real is something a lot of Videos of 'Some More News' are about without EVER mentioning the Show at all.
June's the best husband Serena has ever had
Serena is getting a taste of what she dished out
Revenge served with a cold handcuff! Finally they gave Luke a backbone and reminded June that Serena got her karma.
This isn’t Gilead and I am not you” with this,
June just showed & proved to Serena everything that’s wrong with Gilead. Great acting by Elisabeth & Yvonne. Looking foreard to episode 8 of Season 5.
Im loving this season!. It's like everything I expected in season 4 Is happening now lol
Okay I am beyond sad the show is ending but June is a driving force of resilience. She is amazing and to help Serena like she has shows true strength!!!!!!!
isn't there another season coming?
When she said that LUKE will teach her son to be a good man and not end up like her deceased husband to me was her realizing how bad Gilead was.
why do I feel lawrence's character progression looks more and more like deng xiaoping?
Nick is slick, he married his wife so he can get close to Hannah. Her uncle has Hannah.
I love this show it’s one of the best TV series i have ever watch
I’m still mad that Handmaid’s Tale is still so underrated
i wouldn't say it's underrated but it's definitely not as popular as it deserves to be, even though it is popular. Should be a phenomenon like game of thrones or breaking bad were
What a great episode! So far my favorite
Also I’m still kind of hoping that American diplomat is the real farther.
every time I think that maybe I misjudged Luke, he shows how petty he really is. a small man.
Amazing best episode! Such powerful acting and dialogue ❤
I was pretty sure she would name her son Noah.
am i evil for still not feeling bad for serena?............maybe
HMT be screwing with my emotions. I'm screaming and crying for Serena's happy ending.
I’m British n the hand maids tale season 5 doesn’t show until tomos! I can’t believe there’s been 7 episodes so far in us. I’m jealous!!!
After everything that serena has done, I feel sorry for her. No woman deserves to have their child taken away from them 🥺. I hate Serena but this is sad. I hope she gets her son back.
