Nice. 2 former Delta Operators talking about life. Good stuff Callen 👏👍
I'm pretty sure Callen was top crypto triple redacted AKA Casey Rybaks BOSS lol
Calan at the very beginning, says he knows nothing of combat or what's it's like. He asks what it's like to kill someone, deffinaty NOT an operator.
@AmericanSCPO bro it's a running joke
When I got kidnapped by El Chapo bin Laden Huessein Hitler, Bryan Callen saved me. God bless.
Not to mention two of the best to have ever served
This guest embodies...that it is better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in war. I appreciate the content brother!
It’s encouraging to hear a soldier talk about the Scriptures in military conflict. I appreciate the encouragement. No sarcasm in this comment .
My perception of Delta guys versus the others is everyone else has a feel or a look that is scary that comes through everything else. Delta guys appear completely average, they blend in, there’s no extra eye contact or deeper voice or god-like physique or hypervigilance. Which imo makes them more intriguing.
Fact
Definitely a different breed of humans..
intelligence through the roof as well
You can hear stories of war were sometimes the bravest and most heroic deeds are done by guys that dont look at all like they would have such fierceness in them….scrawny guys….even in our life we all knew these types….far in between….they are not jocks nor buffs but are fucking tough…..Delta probably knows how to draw these kind of men in and selects the best from the bunch

Id say intelligence and a precise nature is what really makes them special.
The pinnacle of a quiet professional and a Grey man
This guy is one of the most interesting delta interviews I have seen
Every guy from the Unit I've heard speak/get interviewed, they're all amazing. Tiegs, Chris VanSant, Shrek McPhee (my absolute favorite CAG guy), Kyle Morgan.
Unit operators are a different level entirely. They truly are Renaissance men. I need to have a Unit guy for a neighbor
@@BlyGuyWhat if he didn't like the look of you? He might hear your music and think......Coldplay? The beatles? .....we're moving back from where we came from! ✋️
Amazing episode!. If all 12 of Callens subscribers don't buy Jeff's book, it'll be a travesty!!
Damn Bryan you got a Delta guy on this show. This is gonna be great!!
THANKS FOR A GREAT VIDEO. I provided anesthesia for FST units and supported some Army teams in Afg and Irq. They had a great impact on me and my life in general. They supported me in being better in every way. It was like a University in excellence. I carry those memories and seek excellence with me still, and I'm now retired.
I hope this reply finds you for I wish gentlemen like yourselves, knew that you are heroes too many. May God bless you for your sacrifice and service to our beautiful country.
The credit goes to those in the video, Thank you for your support!!!
This guy is a true American hero
Agreed!
Finally! The Delta friend Brian's always referencing on Tfatk
“The books a prayer” Jeff was so taken by that 😂
getting insights from someone who's been through actual war, real life & death situations and unfathomable pain is really eye-opening... that jeff guy's cool too
Said my kind-hearted father as he took my hand.
As you go in defense of our dear native land.
Son, be brave but show mercy whenever you can.
Our hearts will be with you, 'til you return again.
In my bag there's a bible to show me the way.
Through my trials here on earth and to Heaven some day.
I will shoulder my musket and brandish my sword.
In defense of this land and the word of the Lord.
What a wonderful dialogue. Thank you. Food for thought on a rainy evening in the north of England. Loved it.
I’m sorry for your loss of your Monarch. She seemed like an honorable person.
Bryan deserves more but you’re doing a damn good job with what you have! From your biggest blackest brightest fan!
Good shit, Bryan! I am a convert from LWC and, I know it’s not popular to say it but also like Dave Landau, Sam Tripoli, etc…so I’m here, on Normal World, your podcast with Brendan S AND…a LWC member. I have a feeling that I’m not alone here …I’m not a Crowder Cultist and listen to ALL views. Appreciate you man…💯
This is my favorite episode by far! Thanks for this one Brian 👏🏼
I love his part about dealing with the "impending doom" part of combat. He explains it so well. Those who have been there understand. Once you come to terms with it, everyday life becomes so much easier.
Kid’s pushing some great content! Keep it up callen!
Rambo taught Jeff everything he knows, Bryan taught Rambo
Just bought the book and it’s a fascinating tapestry of scripture, combat and philosophy. Thank you!!!
Fantastic episode! WOW. Enjoyed every last second.
finally, someone who appreciates the historical factor of where this war is taking place
LOVED this episode!!! Great stuff; thank you for quality stuff and God bless!!!
Merry Christmas Bryan. Love the show.
Jeff thank God for you going after Child trafficking. Thank you for everything. God Bless.
Amazing interview. One of my all time favorites of all interviews I've listened to. Gonna buy this book for my Dad and get one for myself as well. Thank you both for sharing this life story!
I knew Bill too. Great guy and superb human being. So sad his passing.
I love you guys!!! Salute Honor Respect. Thank you.
Thank You Brian I would like to say please ignore all the negative talk about yourself YOUR A WINNER AND GOD LOVES YOU 🙏
Old Bry wishing he was one of these top level humans so bad, unfortunately they don’t allow 95 year old crypt keepers in the tier 1 units. (appreciate you having them on though great stuff)
Brian is a real tip of the spear podcaster
The Podcaster you call when you need the best of the best, total deniability and no witnesses
Wow! I wasn't expecting this. I am amazed. God bless you both.
Great episode, thank you!
Excellent interview Bryan, keep them coming.
Bryan never disappoints. Great show
This was my favorite episode.
Callen you’re a great interviewer!! Great content!!

Good stuff!
Amazing guy!
Brillant, thanks for sharing
Amazing podcast bry. Keep it up
Bryan Callen has truly been humbled... And he has become a ROCK STAR! +
Great hearing a Special Operation guy tell his story. The guest was pretty good too. 😉
Thank you Boss for sharing that story of you and Billy. We miss him immensely but are sure to spend eternity with him.
Love you.
E
Fascinating Chills. I’ll read that!
Right on brother.
Love it Bryan!!
Awesome podcast. The comparison and similarities of Delta Force & Stand-up Comedy......wow. It makes so much sense though. Great job Bryan. Thanks for what you do.
I really am enjoying this podcast. I found you on TFK .
Brroo this was a great conversation ,
They look like brothers. Great episode!
What I tell people about my time in the Army, in some of the best units the Army has to offer, is that you need to be HUMBLE and willing to learn. Yes, you can be proud and have no small amount of confidence, but also understand how to apply it to being the best at whatever task, large or small, you’re asked to do. Whether it’s assault an objective, or disassemble and clean your gun… Even if it’s picking up trash around your unit area. Do it to the absolute best of your ability. People have so many misconceptions of what it’s like to be in a Tier One or Two unit. Basically you MASTER THE BASICS. It’s not magic or that you’re surrounded by meta humans.. You just pursue excellence in all you do, and truly live that creedo… being around a lot of smart, high performance people kind of drives you to be better.. that, or you can take your services elsewhere…
Great bro down.
also don't remember the name but just watch a video where an sas dude said a delta guy came in to train with them and he was the best soldier they ever saw lol. let that sink in... sas raised delta. and it's a proud organization. and they're saying this one delta guy out performed them on every level.
that's a huge compliment
Tremendous.
Bryan said “Look at your eyes” lol
I didn’t know Brian had a brother! Only it’s a younger brother that’s not gay.
BEST. POD CAST. EVER.
Wrinks is killing it lately on youtube.
Suffering with a smile
Great stuff Brian . I'll be back.
I’m 1:45sec into the Pod, can’t wait for the part when being a Comedian is compared to Being a Delta Operator 😂
Why cant anyone explain how world trade center building 7 fell without getting hit by a plane, in 4.5 seconds....
These two could be brothers.
the first time i heard about cag dudes, like specifics, was from a buddy that was humint. he was attached to a team, didn't know until he met the guys. it was a dream job. he got to use 416's before people were aware of the rifle
anyway his description surprised me. this was early gwot, well before you could watch all these interviews. anyway his description was "honestly they're kind of nerdy. fit as fuck but kind, patient.. you'd expect them to be a middle school principal or insurance salesman. but when it's time to work you can see the flip switch and how focused, serious and deadly they are"
i don't want to give his full name but if you read this, and since it's such a small community, R. Little and he flew in to meet the team from kuwait. if you know who i'm talking about just know it was the time of his life
the most impressive thing to me about these guys is how grounded and kind they are while being mass killers. this dudes body count is in the triple digits. we need killers, and i'm just glad guys like these carry that burden so responsibly
You need to take a trip to NC & try to get Kevin Holland on your show. Kevin was a Seal in Desert Storm, was in DEVGRU during the 90’s then fast forward to 9/11 he gets back in but this time he’s in the Army & goes to The Unit or Delta. The guy’s career is insane, he was one of the two Unit Operators who found Saddam Hussein in his bunker & actually pulled him out of the hole. Stays at Delta until he’s shot up, then heals up & goes into doing ground branch at the CIA for a few years. Now he’s helping evacuate civilians in Afghanistan, Ukraine & helping rescue children that are being trafficked.
Interesting 😊
Sometimes God’s Spirit teaches us while something else is going on. Interesting to hear about what you learned during that Charlie Rose interview.
Brian what the heck is up with the white noise in the background? Great interview for sure though!
Is this like A PG rating version of the "I like war"speech from helsing ultimate anime?
THANK YOU for introducing perhaps the one the greatest Americans who was ever born!!!
Just a couple of operators choppin it up.
That was fukin phenomenal. Some dry humor. Jeff has that look to him that if i was in war he would be the last eyes id go looking to lock on to or get caught off guard. Id literally say fuckkk gg
For a second I seriously thought Bryan Callen was the one being interviewed and was claiming he was Delta Force or something lol
It’s crazy to see how these guys are just normal dudes that are just superhuman in the background
Amen. Bible is reliable. The text has absolutely been preserved. The more you look into it
The Aftermath
That's the yaywehh model, making a contract with your creator
Callen could teach this guy a thing or two about combat
Guess how I found God. I was without sleep for so long in the service I started hallucinating.. so while hallucinating I met God... and He never went away..even after I got a lot of sleep and recovered. He was even in my dreams..and when I woke up He was still there chillin..and I got His extrasensory auditory and tactile gifts also.. So it's like I brought Davy Jones back from the Locker..
At first, I thought this was a joke...Then I though it was a ...JOKE....But are these two guys TWINS ??
Anyway, great stuff.
God bless you all ❤
Seems like a nice man. I thank him for his service. I only wish humanity would have broken free of the act of war and killing by now. Military Industrial Complex still at work. Blood money business.
As he talked about angels and his friend ,there are demons and evil that move weak men to do evil through them ,we need men like him. War is the essence, of the universe as we know it only in the ream of the lord may we know peace, as the angel, and demons continues the fight of good and evil
Very uncomfortable circumstances. 😉
33:10 I was fortunate to have an outside influence before being entirely lost in my earlier life...back in '85 my folks were long divorced and i was living with two sisters and an angry man hating mother... I was destoned for failure.
I luckily found the Boy Scouts... A bunch of other kids my age, being taught cool manly shit by a bunch of Vietnam Vets. No possible way my upbringing would have EVER introduced me to archery, firearms, camping, self reliance, leadership, knife and axe skills, National history and pride,... simple accountability and decency.
Btw the ballerina that could have been a uncut interview you saw
Fuck yeah
It took 27 mins to connect the dots....the voice and face....the host was one of the comedians on that tv show "Worlds Dumbest ..." something or other.
I think we could all agree this podcast would be so much richer if Brendan Shaub was involved....
😂
Who am I
What is purpose
What is intention?
Maybe he saw an edited version of charlie rose never again seen
@42:00
"Like what you and I have"
What "faith tradition" does the host have ?!?🤔🤔
