  • robotTUNER tested the open-source auto-pilot stack Autoware on a Renault Twizy. Autoware is a ROS2 application that uses C++. The Unity autopilot of robotTUNER used C#allowed what is not allowed for type approval by the Dutch Road Authority (ISO 26262). All sensors and controllers of the auto-pilot kit of robotTUNER are integrated
    The next step is the integration of object detection. From Jun 2024, a 12-meter bus will drive autonomously using Autoware on the bus depot of Qbuzz in Groningen.
