Just a quick correction the at 11:05 I mentioned to get a graphical calculator these are the super expensive ones which are like £100 which is not necessary to get what I meant was to get the Casio classwiz fx-991EX, an advanced scientific calculator which is the calculator I already have linked in the description box. Sorry If this has caused any confusion x

Before choosing a fourth I do recommend you consider taking only 3 as 4 is a lot 😭 but for a fourth I‘d say pick one of the sciences because all the subjects that you have chosen all have maths in common and doing another science subject some of the content clashes with chemistry too which is great and makes things a little bit easier! I hoped this helped x

You can use a proper graphical calculator for maths but the bare minimum one is normally about £25 and is the Casio fx-991EX classwiz. I think the graphical one is the cg50 but that is over £100 new

i have like 90% of what you said, except for thick notebooks. im doing english language, psychology, and art so i got 5 a4 books but they totally dont have enough pages lmaoo
Good luck! Those are great Subjects and yes about the thick notebooks you can always get some more when you run out. Since you’re doing art I don’t do it but do you need to get some separate supplies for art or can you just borrow the schools art equipment? x
@@Lordinaschannel oh they supply some stuff like books and a folder and paint, but most stuff is on us. ive already got stuff im comfortable using like graphite powder and watercolour so i should be good :)

What would u say about note taking on iPad? With an Apple Pencil, paper note taking is dead, as in after a few weeks I won’t read it again and it’ll end up in a fat pile, but with an iPad the notes are colourful, neat, organisesd, can access them anywhere, what do u think?
I think IPad note taking is such a great efficient way to learn and get work done quick. Paperless so everthing is all in one place and if you’re aloud to, to take it in lessons too! If you have the money then why not but it’s not by force should be an investment you’re willing to make you can also look at payment plans to pay instalments too so many options should definitely check out the videos on UA-cam about iPad note taking before making any decisions x

@@ayem1760 yeah it's good just use one note cause many schools do folder checks and one note is the best for book sharing. Also has the best implementation of pen support and notes.
Hey Lordina, would you recommend to get CGP revision guides before Sixth Form?
I would say wait till u start cause u can get it for cheaper through the sixth form cause they do it in bulk
I’d recommend you wait until you see if your sixth form have any available like I borrowed mine together costed like over £50 didn’t have to pay a thing. And if you do have to end up paying teachers will recommend a suggested text book that all students should get coz it’s likely you’ll be working through it in class and given some parts of it as homework x

I start sixth form on wednesday... I've got all my basic stationery/exercise books, but I haven't bought my course books yet? Is it okay if I get my course books within my first two weeks of sixth form?
Yes, but what you want to do first before buying any course books is to find out on the first day (if you can the sooner the better) if the school offers text books for free or a discounted price if not then get the text books your school suggests or get a text book that is specifically for the exam board of your subjects I hoped this helped x

To be honest not really they expect you to come equipped just like uni, however you can always check with your sixth form first if they offer notebooks, but I’d advise to buy some anyways x
My all books are digital so I just got an app to use as an calculator since I always work on my laptop and all my exams are digital anyway.
That’s great, do you prefer working digitally rather than using text books how well does that work for you?
@@Lordinaschannel I wouldn't say that I prefer digital in alla subjects. For reading heavy subjects like history I would like a physical book but digital ones are just way cheaper and my school provides some of the books for us and they are also all digital. I do prefer digital in geometry for example since I can just draw my graphs, screenshot them and paste them in my answer. Also when I take digital notes I can just have my notetaking app in another window and textbook in another.

yeah! honestly it doesn’t matter what you use as long as it works for you
Personally that’s what I did and I also had a corresponding folder for papers like assignments hw ect and I found it helpful to have all notes in one place and less likely to lose notes also in class u can just look back in the book
I would also recommend an extra notebook just for hw and u can rip out the page and give in etc
Yes this is what I did because you can really underestimate how much notes you take just for one lesson only so I had the Oxford campus notebooks all in different colours for each subject I kid you not a couple months in I almost finished the notebook (it has A lot of pages in too) so definitely get an exercise book per subject !

Okay so I have Monday and Tuesday afternoon off and Thursday and Friday morning off. my periods last around 2 and a half hours so in a week thats around 10 hours of free periods 🙂 hopes this helped x

Finished yr13 I recommend stealing the bio textbooks for yr 1&2 bro I literally forgot to return them
Also idk bout your sixth form but u usally get a kerboodle login to see textbooks but i liked paper better

This is really helpful but no one gonna talk about ‘this is my planner I got it for £3 at works’ looks and sees £10 on the back
No it actually was £3. If you do shop at the works often the prices on what the sticker says at the front is the set price regardless if the barcode at the back of the product has a higher price number. I wouldn't have talked about the planner if it was £10 lol, just way to over priced 😂
It says RRP £10 meaning the respected retail price is £10 they say this so when they sell the item for £3 the customer feels happier as they are saving money … happier customers are more likely to buy more things lol
You don't need a graphical calculator for maths save £80 and get the white regular one
