I can't wait to start A Levels in September. I decided to choose English Literature, Health and Social Care and Sociology with Media as a backup if I can't get into Sociology :)
Thank you so much, lovely! You're one of the few people I've seen genuinely reassuring people and conveying that sixth form is manageable and not the impossible hell that others try to spread as truth. This is so comforting and makes me feel much more at ease!
Geography is my favourite subject too! I live in Australia an my final year of school starts in February. Good luck to everyone who is starting school soon
This was so satisfying to watch 💕 Am about to go to sixth form i can wait. tho am really scared of the courses am gonna pick and how to make friends and also plus a part time job But this was so helpful 😘
i’m literally not going into sixth form until another 3 years but still found this soo informative and interesting!!! loving all this back to school content🤍
Congrats on 8K grace!! Also, thanks so much for this video - I’m going into year 10 in September so I still have a little while to go but the advice was definitely useful! 😉😆
thanks for this!! i’m taking the same combination as you with music as my fourth option but i’m glad to hear the workload isn’t too overwhelming! quick question, did u use a laptop/ipad to take notes?
Im going sixth form in a week. I told my teachers i wanted to do law as a career. He told me that 1) unis dont value law a level much 2) law is competetive so pick core A level subjects such as : English , maths, sciences (not psychology) and history 3)a core a level subject will help u so much when going to study law at uni. 4) Unis strongly dislike when students study law at a level
@@imani3975 thats true .i was just told core sciences are valued alot more than psychology. Also no point studying psychology if u are 100% sure that its not the career ur interested in
Heyy, can you give me advice on making friends I’m moving to a completely different school and I don’t know anyone that’s going and im so scared I’m ngl 😂😭😭
im thinking about doing economics for a level (i need to choose by october) but i didnt do it at gcse. what is economics like at a level? what ratio of maths:essays type work is it? is it lots of debating in lessons or more learining concepts and content? thanks
Oh I just thought of a question 😂 do you think economics is similar to gcse business?? Because I’d love to take economics at a level but we don’t do it in my school for GCSEs
ahhh i can’t compare as i’ve never done business gcse, but my understanding is that business focuses more on the insides of an individual business, whereas economics is much more broad, looking at economies and economic policies for whole countries etc!! i know a couple people that have taken business gcse and picked up economics at alevel and have really enjoyed it + been successful 😌✨
I don’t do either of these subjects but my school doesn’t do economics or business at gcse but you can pick it up at A level without any background knowledge so you could definitely pick economics up if you wanted.
4:37 this isn't true at all, if you in cooperate spaced repetition it will stay in your head for very long. Anyways, this video was a big help! Thank you, keep up the amazing work!
hey lisa!!! my school actually set us summer work! it was called ‘introduction to alevels’ work ✨ but if you haven’t been set anything, i really wouldn’t bother! it makes most sense for everyone to be starting at the same level 💘

Do you bring in your own notebooks for classes? Or do they give you one like in secondary school💕
yes!! i would recommend using a folder and file paper
Your nose is so pretty
Hi. I'm going into sixth form in september. Even though we have our own free periods, does everyone have their break and lunch at the same time?
I'm guessing it depends where u go. My college we have the same break and lunch. I'm starting this sept too ahah
im doing history, drama, Spanish and sociology and I'm more worried about making friends
good luck!! don’t worry, you’ll naturally meet and talk to people in your classes, tutor group + frees ✨
did you do any prep work in the summer of year 11? or would you recommend doing any?
