You do, but at the same time for it's price you do know some things would be not quite up to par with some more expensive boats. I wish it were a less critical piece though.
Hi, I use the Yak Attack cell block to hold the battery, the transducer is mounted on a Yak Attack switchblade arm which is attached to the top of the cell block. My display is on a Yak Attack mount that can also go on the top of the cell block however I usually have the display just forward of the cell block. This whole system is mounted in the supplied gear track so I did not have to do any drilling and all of it can be taken off easily for winter storage or transport.
Thanks for the tip Need a video on how to swap out that cable rudder. I would buy this kayak but without knowing how to fix the rudder issue no way.
I will try to get one together this week.
So this here is likely the best run down on the fix. Much better than the one I tried ua-cam.com/video/z6k6ghXrlow/v-deo.html
Awesome review cuz love the content. hope you have a great summer on the water. Love and miss you
Thanks! Really looking forward to it. Pushing to get myself up there to see you guys as soon as I'm able to.
Sweet setup. Sucks you had to use bicycle cable to fix the rudder. When you buy a kayak like this you want things to work from new.

@@dockspideroutdoors do you have a picture of the housing and how you attached it to the steering mechanism for the rudder?
What type of support for fishfinder you have? It was necessary to make any hole or is RIM connected ?
