- well this is pretty much when you try playing mr brightside by the killers but it's actually Ludwig van Beethoven's 9th symphony which is also the European anthem. everybody loves hearing this absolute banger at a party and mr brightside is also a cool song.

Not really. The ode to joy is originally a poem by Friedrich von Schiller and its famous adaptation by beethoven only a part of the 4th movement of his symphony. The three movements before that are also masterpieces, in fact i prefer the 1st and the 2nd movement over the 4th. Fun fact I believe it was Stravinski who called the 9th symphony "plain and overly simplified stereotypical german march music" or sth like that

Not a lower key, because it's the same key. He just modulates the main theme to a different part of the scale.
