In Ramadan 2023, I wore my hijab and since then, I’ve been a hijabi. It's not always 100% easy, but I can’t go back to what was weighing me down when I looked in the mirror. Aww wow!! That is really inspiring, and something that isn't always talked about. Hope you continue growing more love and confidence towards it!! Loved this video! ;)) 💕💛
As a white woman raised in Christianity I have always found women who wear the hijab beautiful. I'm sorry you had that negative feeling. To me, it pulls away all the ways you have to hide yourself, I have often hidden myself behind my hair when nervous, just pulling it forward to make my face less noticeable, so to be able to take that away & face life proud, is strong & beautiful to me! I started going grey at 9 & for the next 30 years I colored my hair as it got more & more grey because my mother told me "you're too young for Grey hair, you look old w Grey hair, let's go get your hair colored" even though all the color did was make those Grey hairs stand out more. 2016/2017 I stopped coloring it. All the color has grown out & I LOVE my hair. It's still not 100% Grey, but I ❤ it, & I get SOO many compliments on it. All these years I hid what was truly beautiful. A hijab accents your face, and covering your face the way you do, I can't spell the term, sorry, it certainly draws all attention to your eyes which, & I believe you said you wear contacts, but the soul is found in your eyes, & I can see you are a beautiful woman inside & out. We have to teach our daughters to see strength in their differences, see the beauty. I ❤ that you are here talking about these things so people- Muslim or not- can learn and grow in what your faith & customs mean to you!
subhanallah this is overwhelming your story is inspiring and brings soo much comfort to my heart becoz it makes me realize that we all make mistakes but still not too late to turn to the almighty and he will never let us down ♥
I find u relatable cuz i almost had the same feelings towards hijab as you and now i love to wear it and although im not a niqabi as of now cuz it feels like another big hurdle but i want to wear one day InshaAllah
By watching your previous video , story related to Niqab , I prayed Hard to Allah SWT , verryy harddd literally it came from core of my heart and Alhumdulilah Allah Answered my prayer ❤
I'm not Muslim but i am trying to get closer to God and i have been wanting to start dressing more modestly and that includes possibly covering my head starting slow at first but then i want to reach a point were im fully covered I've always known I've wanted to cover because i was the hoodie girl in high school i hated people seeing my neck and hair and everything but i never started covering because i didn't want my parents to be mad at me
What bothers me isnt the Hijab or that i cant show my hair or beauty but the hatred of people towards me, the discrimination and the constant fear to be vicrim of islamophobic violent attacks
I’m not Muslim or religious at all but I grew up Christian, despite that I don’t believe in that, I think that the women that wear the hijab are so strong and beautiful, unfortunately in the world we live in if your wear hijab you are going to have a lot of people judge you and have to deal with that and it’s so beutiful how omen wear even knowing that they will have to fave other people’s opinions. I think what you are doing is amazing encouraging Muslim girls to not care what others think about them and to do what they want to.
Sister this was an answer for me!! Thank you. I am struggling with my thoughts of wearing Niqab or not. I will make dua for this daily until Allah, swt guves me the answer. Thank you so much from my heart. 💜
MashaAllah Sidra such a beautiful story!!❤ Also i have a question, after how long of wearing the hijab did you decide to wear the niqab and what made you make that decision?
Hello! I have a question, in judgements day, will you get punished for not wearing hijab? If you will get punished, I will ask for forgiveness and start wearing hijab when im about 13:😊 May allah grant all of us Jannah ❤
Power to Iranian women, to choose what they want to do. Totally agree with you on that. However, for myself..I don't find this religion misogynistic. But to each their own. I'm just puzzled why you would click on a veiled woman if you hate this "ideology" so much. Its like eating broccoli, when you hate the taste 🤷🏽♀️.
Because they only believe in equality when it involves uncovering They can respect a woman’s choice to uncover and even fight for it But when a woman willingly covers herself, the “ideology” becomes misogynistic and talks of equality goes out the window
@misbahailia3345 lslam's own sources tell us that women are below men. The Quran divinely sanctions wife beating (verse 4.34) and prepubescent sex (65.4) for example! Surely women deserve better than that! Women in lran have no choice, whether they like it or not, but now we're seeing some willing to die for the freedom of others. The uprising in Iran has come as no surprise. Secret surveys showed that up to a third of people no longer followed the faith but, as you know, they couldn't announce it publicly because they'd be punished for apostasy.
@NinjaMommy It's not just the covering but everything else that goes with it. The Quran and hadiths put women below men. There are so many exmuslims now speaking out. Women should have equality without fear!
Have you ever considered to add a piece of wire to the upper rim of the Niqab (like in the medical face masks). This allows to shape it around your nose and makes it fit far better, not limiting your sight downwards anymore. Just sew a lengthy pocket along the upoer rim where you push in the wire - and pull it out before laundering. A thin (< 1 mm), insulated piece of copper wire will perfectly do the job.
You look beautifull, You show your inner beauty, your eyes sparkling. Not muslim but so respectfull, btw the combination with shells and the blue so nice
Omg I'm on my hijab journey right now and I feel the same way about hijab BUT niqab I would definitely love to. You inspire me alhamdulillah. ❤ inshAllah this hijab battle will ease on me someday 😔❤ May Allah help us to be steadfast ❤
I want to wear hijab just like you wanted but I feel like I am already very ugly , wearing hijab would make me a nobody 😭 I struggle everyday ,please pray for me ❤
Wear the Islamic hijab wear you cover your face like mamay ninja dose, and with women show your hair as much you like...may Allah make it easy for you and guide you to him❤
I don't know what you look like but that doesn't matter: I do know you are not ugly. Beauty comes from within and your personality will shine through showing in your face. Every kindness you do for others, will shine through in your face. Don't forget to be kind to yourself and please don't ever believe anyone who tells you you are ugly.
Bro I'm still gonna wear and love my hijab omg. Let ppl do what they want. Use your time to pray for and help those being oppressed in the land, whether it is for hijab or not. Ya know rape is a huge problem in the western world aswell??
And how many times have you been to Afghanistan and Iran to see women getting raped beaten to death and blah blah blah? 😂 it’s your west where women get beaten for just keeping a piece of cloth over their head
Those are not muslim at all, they use our religion to justify there actions. Don’t look at them as an representation of our religion because there aren’t, and Islam says that men should lower there gaze
@@chiararomano1818the comment appears to have been left to hate on those who love and embrace hijab. So if "ppl" want to love and embrace hijab, let "ppl" do what they want. That was what i said in response yet you clearly missed my point. I understand not everyone has a "choice" in wearing it. (Though I believe hijab is obligatory whether it's the girl putting it on herself or whether she is forced into it.) It is the "force" being used to place the hijab on a woman's head that should be questioned. Rape and murder are definitely inexcusable and we condemn such acts. Or making women wear hijab bc "the men can't handle it" is another belief I find very problematic Allah told muslims to oblige women to wear their hijab as if they don't, they are disobeying Allah's command. And Allah punishes those who disobey his commands. (Ofc I'm a human and I'm not allowed to say who and who cannot be punished. Only Allah knows if so and so will be punished for not wearing hijab) At the end of the day nothing that islam permits as a form of 'force' can be worse than the punishment of God. However, islam does not permit all kinds of "force" and there are better kinds of "force" than others. Those rulers in Iran and Afghanistan should ensure that they aren't being too extreme or doing what Allah did not permit in order to enforce the hijab. In my opinion, just educating about hijab and why it's important and obligatory can do more than threatening with capital punishment. So yeah I'm not happy with how hijab is being enforced in certain muslim states today. I do pray that things change for the better.
Sidra Jazakalaher for sharing you inspire me ☺️ I was the same but now I love my hijab Alhumdulilah. Btw I miss your daily vlogs! InshAllah you can make more
Hey Sidra, Thanks for another interesting video. I just thought you would want to know that the ads that are showing on your channel aren't always modest. There were ads showing women in lingerie and very skimpy clothing just now. I'm pretty sure you can change the settings in your adsense account though maybe things you don't want might sneak through sometimes, there is a setting where you can block underwear ads that might help. Please be careful about you words. Do not go here and there saying you hated the hijab as hating something Allah has prescribed is an act of kufr, and to go telling people you hated it is extremely wrong. I hope you see this and are now careful for next time. You were probably ignorant of this but just don’t go spreading it around again and saying you hated it. Regret what you have done and never do it again. InshaAllah Allah forgives if we err or make a mistake.

But I have some doubts regarding praying. As demonstrated Could you please make a video on How to pray Salah (women's edition) I highly request you to make a video on this topic. It will be really helpful for all Muslim women out there. Besides, in India some people say that, both men and women and have same procedure to pray Salah. However some say that, men and women have different ways to perform Salah. Furthermore your husband is an Islamic Scholar . Thus I kindly request you to make a detailed video on UA-cam about praying salah. I hope that you will respond to me soon

This is so profound & from your heart , We Christian's wear the head scarves so you can maybe admire yourself as well adorning the scarf/ hijab ✌🏽👌🏻🥰
subhanallah this is overwhelming
your story is inspiring and brings soo much comfort to my heart becoz it makes me realize that we all make mistakes but still not too late to turn to the almighty and he will never let us down ♥
I find u relatable cuz i almost had the same feelings towards hijab as you and now i love to wear it and although im not a niqabi as of now cuz it feels like another big hurdle but i want to wear one day InshaAllah
This is fascinating!! How long did you wear the hijab before you started to wear the niqab? Did you have a similar experience?
I am ten and wear the hijab and niqab 😊
Mashallah sister.Luv from Bosnia
Aww its okay ❤
But now you are on a better path,Alhamdulillah ❤ 0:39 "walla" loved it ❤
By watching your previous video , story related to Niqab , I prayed Hard to Allah SWT , verryy harddd literally it came from core of my heart and Alhumdulilah Allah Answered my prayer ❤
🥺❤️🙏🏼
I’m not Muslim or religious at all but I grew up Christian, despite that I don’t believe in that, I think that the women that wear the hijab are so strong and beautiful, unfortunately in the world we live in if your wear hijab you are going to have a lot of people judge you and have to deal with that and it’s so beutiful how omen wear even knowing that they will have to fave other people’s opinions. I think what you are doing is amazing encouraging Muslim girls to not care what others think about them and to do what they want to.
Strong are the women who can stand up for themselves instead of getting brainwashed
Sister this was an answer for me!! Thank you. I am struggling with my thoughts of wearing Niqab or not. I will make dua for this daily until Allah, swt guves me the answer. Thank you so much from my heart. 💜
Thank you for sharing! I am a Christian and absolutely believe God answers our prayers. Your testimony is beautiful. ❤️
"Ya Allah...I hate the Hijab..." absolutely sent me! 🤣🤣🤣
MashaAllah Sidra such a beautiful story!!❤
Also i have a question, after how long of wearing the hijab did you decide to wear the niqab and what made you make that decision?
It is so versatile. It changes my looks. And my hair underneath is the most lush and thick than it has ever been. So it actually increased my beauty.
Hello! I have a question, in judgements day, will you get punished for not wearing hijab? If you will get punished, I will ask for forgiveness and start wearing hijab when im about 13:😊 May allah grant all of us Jannah ❤
Power to Iranian women in their fight to regain their dignity against a very misogynistic ideology! Women deserve equality!
Because they only believe in equality when it involves uncovering
They can respect a woman’s choice to uncover and even fight for it
But when a woman willingly covers herself, the “ideology” becomes misogynistic and talks of equality goes out the window
@@NinjaMommy soo true
I want to wear hijab just like you wanted but I feel like I am already very ugly , wearing hijab would make me a nobody 😭 I struggle everyday ,please pray for me ❤
Wear the Islamic hijab wear you cover your face like mamay ninja dose, and with women show your hair as much you like...may Allah make it easy for you and guide you to him❤
It's not about the appearance of the body rather its about the appearance of the heart

And if you show to strands of hair ..do you get jailed, r*ped and beaten to death? What are your thoughts on Ihijab in Iran and Afghanistan?
Bro I'm still gonna wear and love my hijab omg. Let ppl do what they want. Use your time to pray for and help those being oppressed in the land, whether it is for hijab or not.
Ya know rape is a huge problem in the western world aswell??
@@moopgurr7508 You missed her point. “Let people do what they want”? People cannot do what they want in Iran and Afghanistan.
(Though I believe hijab is obligatory whether it's the girl putting it on herself or whether she is forced into it.)
It is the "force" being used to place the hijab on a woman's head that should be questioned.
Rape and murder are definitely inexcusable and we condemn such acts. Or making women wear hijab bc "the men can't handle it" is another belief I find very problematic
Allah told muslims to oblige women to wear their hijab as if they don't, they are disobeying Allah's command. And Allah punishes those who disobey his commands.
(Ofc I'm a human and I'm not allowed to say who and who cannot be punished. Only Allah knows if so and so will be punished for not wearing hijab)
At the end of the day nothing that islam permits as a form of 'force' can be worse than the punishment of God.
Why u wear colourful hijab Isn't it against Islam??
She can wear diffrent colours
Well said ❤ the solution to our proplems is to Turn to Allah in every struggle we face in deen or in life.
I also don't like it and dnt wore but now ALHAMDULILLAH full hijabi and only my eyes shows with my medical profession
If a woman is bald, does she still have to wear the hijab?
yes
I wanted to say that this colour you are wearing makes your eyes pop for me!
Sidra Jazakalaher for sharing you inspire me ☺️ I was the same but now I love my hijab Alhumdulilah. Btw I miss your daily vlogs! InshAllah you can make more
Can I wear one too?
Hey Sidra, Thanks for another interesting video. I just thought you would want to know that the ads that are showing on your channel aren't always modest. There were ads showing women in lingerie and very skimpy clothing just now. I'm pretty sure you can change the settings in your adsense account though maybe things you don't want might sneak through sometimes, there is a setting where you can block underwear ads that might help.
Have a great week ☺️
@ninjamommy I have a question. For new converts to Islam, fasting during Ramadam is probably going to be really hard to get used to. Have you heard of people fasting when it isn't Ramadan just to practice before Ramadan comes?
Love ur personality! I been curious if someone is deaf how do allow them to read your lips with out exposing your mouth? I been curious for years
You are actually beautiful now with it

Can I ask how long the 5 prayers a day last?
Hi! For me it takes about 10-15 minutes per prayer, this includes the ablution. Some may take longer, or shorter, for example if you already have your wudhu (ablution) it will take you less time. Hope this helps!
Thank you for your story! I am not Muslim, so can I ask a question? If you had pictures without the hijab that you deleted, did you ask all friends and family get rid of their pics of you, too? Or, can they keep them, but just keep them private to them?
This is so beautiful, thank you for sharing ❤️❤️
Question for you: in Islam, does a woman need to wear a hijab and niqab in front of a blind man?
I watched many videos but a thing came to mind recently is that you haven't said anything about prophet marrying 6 year old and Intercourse when she was 9. Let me know if u have already made a video about it ahd if not, make a video please.

This sister makes more mistakes unfortunately and guides people wrongly with some things… sisters who draw attention on youtube is weird anyhow, let alone putting accessories on the niqab (while its to be modest in the first place and dont draw attention).
@@NoFix I agree that they should not be posting themselves in the first place and making themselves glamorous. She may make mistakes but all I can do is inform her about what’s wrong and hope she decides to follow the Quran and sunnah. Im sure she has never had any ill intentions but is just a little ignorant when it comes to some matters. Not that it’s okay, it’s not at all actually…which is why I made the comment in the first place. I can’t criticize someone too much either because I myself am not a scholar and do not have as much knowledge…in fact I have a lot of shortcomings as well that I may not realize. So let’s ask Allah SWT to forgive us for our sins that we’re not even aware of!

I have been watching your UA-cam channel for over a year now and I really admire the work you are doing for all Muslims out there.
Your youtube shorts and videos about Islam, hijab and niqab are very informative, motivative and obliging .
We all know that Salah is one of the significant pillars of Islam.
But I have some doubts regarding praying.
As demonstrated
Could you please make a video on How to pray Salah (women's edition)
I highly request you to make a video on this topic.
Well Allah has given us all a choice sister. Either we can enjoy this life by doing all that we love to do and get nothing in the hereafter for breaking the laws of Allah or we can be patient in this life follow the rules wether we like them or not and enjoy eternal freedom, eternal luxuries in paradise. Im happy that you are intelligent enough to choose eternal happiness over temporary joy. Imagine yourself in your fav dress with your fav hair walking around in your castle made of pearls and diamonds surrounded by Colorful enchanted gardens ✨✨✨ it’s intelligent to sacrifice this pathetic life full of flaws for that ❤
Perfect comment Masha'Allah.

This show Umar responsible for hijab - Sahih al-Bukhari 4790
Narrated `Umar:
I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Good and bad persons enter upon you, so I suggest that you order the mothers of the Believers (i.e. your wives) to observe veils." Then Allah revealed the Verses of Al- Hijab.

4:116 (The Women)
Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray
5:72 (The Table Spread)
They have certainly disbelieved who say, "Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord" Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers
4:171 (The Women)
O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion1 or say about Allah except the truth The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him So believe in Allah and His messengers And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you Indeed, Allah is but one God Exalted is He above having a son To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs
2:164 (Family of Imran)
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and earth are signs for a people who use reason
18:29 (The Cave)
And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve" Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them And if they call for relief, they will be relieved with water like murky oil, which scalds [their] faces Wretched is the drink, and evil is the resting place
'Adi bin Hatim (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,] said, "Guard yourselves against the Fire (of Hell) even if it be only with half a date-fruit (given in charity); and if you cannot afford even that, you should at least say a good word"
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,] as saying that a person committed sin beyond measure and when he was going to die, he left this will:
(When I die), bum my dead body and then cast them (the ashes) to the wind and in the ocean By Allah, if my Lord takes hold of me, He would torment me as He has not tormented anyone else They did as he had asked them to do He (the Lord) said to the earth: Return what you have taken And he was thus restored to his (original form) He (Allah) said to him: What prompted you to do this? He said: My Lord, it was Thine fear or Thine awe, and Allah pardoned him because of this Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,] as saying that a woman was thrown into Hell-Fire because of a cat whom she had tied and did not provide it with food nor did she set it free to eat vermin of the earth until it died emaciated Az-Zuhri said: (These two ahadith) show that a person should neither feel confident (of getting into Paradise) because of his deeds, nor should he lose (all hopes) of getting into Paradise

God is NOT a he. God is on gender. A bit of everything and everyone.
🙄
My favourite description of the gender of the creator is that they (singular) encompass all genders, the perfect balance between male and female and everything in between: as a bird has two wings, with only one wing, s/he cannot fly.
You are so misguided. I hope you find the true path because what your speaking is pure deceit and fallacy.
So you speak for the one and only true Islam?
