Using a High Stick technique Fly Fishing deep, short fast water

I was working my way up this small river the other day. I came to this piece of water and went "Yummy". Not hitting anything using standard upstream Nymphing methods, I increased my weight and got more parallel to the main lie. I then used a High stick technique to reduce drag and get my nymphs down deeper and to go through slower. This is the end result smile emoticon

Hey mate. Yeah this is our start to the winter fishery. We have about 5 main rivers we can fish around the Lake, these will get some big runs over the next 4 runs. I will have a few more Vids up before the end of the season so you can see what you are missing out on. You be safe Bro, tight lines.
