- The end credits theme extended to fit the Dualshock Ver. FMV, which I looped from sample 1,741,989 to 3,081,805. This is just a relatively simplistic loop, but I think it's fine.

Same here, original PlayStation 1, first game NFS V Rally, then Tomb Raider 2, then R.E. 2, i played R.E. 1 as an adult, but yeah the start was in those beautiful 90s years😢

When I first completed RE directors cut and hearing this for the first time just gave me a sense of accomplishment, relief and the chills at the same time. Great conclusion OST for a timeless classic, can't wait to the get the psx HD as that'll have the directors cut on it to do it all again 20 years later 🤜

I played this after accomplishing something bigger tonight. The chills.... the chills made me cut the heat on....
After 5 years, I'm back again just to listen, I tried to play the game I could almost speed run as a teenager but I lost my coordination now being 40 lol, but sometimes it's just nice to reminisce those all nighters with friends playing the hell out of this game!

2020 ending theme
i played this in 97, i was just a kid who loves horror movies, this game blows my mind, the characters were so special, we worry about them, we just want take them all out of that nightmare, thats why we still remember them, and when you finish the game, you get a little sad because is the end, beautiful ending showing all the dangers the mansion hide.
Here in 2024 it's still AMAZING

Solo debes hacer ciertas cosas claves en el juego para poder verlas
Son por la versiones de región, Japonesa y estadounidense, en la (Jpn) hay escenas gore, todo lo contrario de la versión (Usa) que muestran escenas heroicas.

It was that you extended the theme by looping from the sample to fit Dualshock Ver. FMV? Thought this was "Still Dawn [extended] [End Credits]" (4'19) from the album Resident Evil: The Soundtrack: Complete Edition, into which you extended the FMV to fit.
someone left a comment on this video a while ago (which was since deleted for some reason) asking whether they could use my edit in a fan soundtrack album. I'm assuming this may have been what you're describing

well the japanese version of the original PlayStation has I won't let this end as a dream why not the Dualshock patch/modded version? of the Japanese version? since the overseas of dualshock version of resident evil got patched or modded at last.

Its great music but sounds like a fucking. Great happy adventure not a sad survival horror haha
Late, but RE was NEVER "sad". RE was always a cheesy B-horror vibe, where despite all the terror characters always ended up optimistic. It was always about coming out the other end stronger and with a better outlook on life. RE always had cheesy happy endings, a refresher compared to the terror of what came before. It was never sad, never cynical. This music absolutely fits RE, it's the music of managing to fight back and survive.
