He answers so quickly and with such certainty of language. I'm over here processing the myriad implications of the question while counting mississippis, and they're already moving on to the next.
I am in awe of the same thing....maybe he had the questions beforehand? Seriously, like zero processing time.
I honestly think he was given the questions beforehand. I love Dan but no one could answer those questions that quickly with such poise and dignity.
they're very standard questions so even if he hadn't seen the qs beforehand, he'd answered the same qs in other situations one way or another

Dan has been a hero of mine for a little while both personally and professionally. His answers to “biggest regret” and “motto” made me pause because they’re such brilliant answers and ones that I definitely relate to but wouldn’t have had the intelligence to think of them or articulate them the way he did. This video just shows why he’s the greatest.

I find his answers super relatable. The one about him being a teen....I seriously feel the same way. I look back now and I had so much potential that I wasted because I thought I wasn't good enough.

What a very cool interview...dramatically changed my opinion of Dan. I didn't dislike him before just wasn't aware of his inner guy! Now I am and respect him alot! He has some true sizzle and brings it arms wide open to life and living!

Dan: Self-obsession.
That was my favorite answer he gave because it is absolutely true. I've found that the people who are completely into themselves and/or constantly draw attention to themselves are the ones that are the most miserable. I've seen it time and time again, and it's really sad. I wish the interviewer had asked him to expand on that bc I would have loved to hear him elaborate on it. Ah well.
