Great instructive video, thank you. At first I was turned down because of the thumbnail. But this is the best one in explaining my question. I also would have liked to see some more examples honestly. The example could be a great thumbnail in my opinion. Great video 😃
i think you made a mistake in example 1. you said that you need a ATP certificate to fly a B-737 but you did not say that it was an airline flight. If it was a private flight in then you would only need a B-737 type raiting and a Private pilots certificate.
😂the $100,000 hamburger. I know this is a joke but if you were for some reason flying the 737 as a private pilot, I think you would still need an instrument rating? Maybe not, but I certainly wouldn't want to fly with that pilot.
"Technically" the certificate is not what gives you your privileges. It's what keeps your rights from being taken by other men. Although I do understand what you're trying to say.
Commercial doesn't require a 2nd class medical unless you are carrying for hire. It's not required to obtain or hold the certificate though.
Very detailed and easy to understand…thanks.

@@ThrustFlight I wasn't joking. I would trust a private pilot flying a B737 either. But if it somehow happened it would be legal.
Do the 250 / 190 flight hours for Commercial Pilot Certificate include hours logged as a Sport/Private Pilot Certificate?
What's the difference between the med certificates?
you forgot the rec certificate.
We intentionally left it out because it is largely obsolete with the introduction of the sport
👍
