The reason why the FM section is displaying odd formats (weather, culture) is the radio is using the RDS format codes, but referring to the European RDS system, which is different the RBDS system used in the US.
It makes sense to have the mains adapter separate, because the radio is obviously sold worldwide given its DAB section. They just have to replace the mains adapter to sell it in markets with different voltages or plugs.
I just bought a TechniSat Digitradio 631 as a new alarm clock, it's more expensive of course but amazing to see the versatility. I already found a new favourite radio station too and didn't even start exploring yet. Great video, thanks!
If I were to find some all-day Old Time Radio, whether Internet or otherwise, I'd never get anything else done. Way too many favorites in too many categories. I wouldn't eat, sleep, drink, work, shower, or anything else; I'd waste away slowly while doing nothing but listening to Old Time Radio. And I'd die perfectly happy and satisfied, and the coroner would never get the smile off my face.
Wrieless Internet Radio? On the box. Proofread the box Ocean Digital! Another great video full of information presented with joy and humor. I hooked up a bluetooth receiver to my hi fi to play songs from my phone and that CD player you reviewed that transmits to bluetooth. Great sound!
An internet radio would be great for someone, who can only manage to pick up a few radio stations in their area. In that example, that would be me. As a future reference, you could try out the Panasonic RX-D55 and/or RX-D50, the boomboxes that Techmoan talks highly about.
that 'unused' section of the battery compartment could be used to store extra USB drives. Does the CD player handle MP3 CDs? I'm betting it does, since it has MP3 capability via th USB port.
interesting and cool little unit, this is the first i have seen or heard of this. seems ok but the sound could be a little more dynamic. fun review, thanks for sharing, take care
I have the brand called DUAL and it hat only instruction Manuel in German but i don't under stand German but i dit get it working on WiFi, its looks a lot a like this boombox. Same software i think. How com that US don't have dab+ radio?

Skytune doesn't seem to work for me. When I try to connect to stations, I get "Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 255.255.255.255."

So if you don’t want to call it a boom box, what else would you call this device (other than device, of course)?

The most brands come out with DAB radio standard

We only have HD Radio here - no DAB+, similar thing though. Most people use FM still.
Modern-day boombox. 👍👍👍👍✌
Ocean Digital should do a better job with the spelling of Wireless Internet Radio on the outside of the box.
This might sound like a stupid question with that radio I’m from Long Island New York can you get radio stations from Long Island New York
