The disrespect towards the football program is real this year..... Nobody is giving USC a chance to win anything in the big 10 and saying we will be the Minnesota gophers and will never make the playoffs i hope we can prove a lot of people wrong
I think most people have SC going 8-4 or 9-3 which seems reasonable.
@@Sportsgeek1991 that's not reasonable we didn't hire a coach to be racking up 3-4 losses every year

@@monstamack93 The question is..what have we done the last two years to make people think we have a chance to get in the playoffs? We are currently rebuilding a dreadful defense, losing commits because of NIL, and not remotely showing the caliber of a Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, to name a few. We need to prove it on the field first before demanding respect.
@Sportsgeek1991 based on what? The teams that we play have deficiencies as well. But my opinion 11-1 in the regular season and second lost in the playoffs
One of the first Defensive Coaches that (then) new Head Football Coach Pete Carroll brought in to the USC program was Defensive Coach "Ed Orgeron". Talk about the ability to spot coaching talent! One of the unfortunate hangovers from OU that Coach Lincoln Riley brought with him to USC was Defensive discombobulater Alex Grinch. Talk about the inability to spot a completely incompetent liability as a coach. There in lies the tale of two coaches!

Love Miller. Gotta get his arm strength up. He reminds me of JT Daniel and Kedan Slovis mixed. Both had elite receivers to make them look good. Hopefully our receivers will help Moss out ✌🏽
That arm is what it is, the quick release we got to love; more importantly the dumping of the ball to prevent sacks. The between the ears of Miller is priceless.

Did you see how Moss should have thrown 2 picks? which would have changed the trajectory of the game?? but in riley we trust with QB's, he'll get them right.
I must admit, the defense was flying and finally playing class A foosball. I expect such effort and togetherness every game this year.
Miller Moss will be as good as USC QB, as the OL is protecting him. Also, USC will need a productive run game. The OL did a horrible job protecting CW the last 2 years. MM is more of a pocket passer, and will need time.
I can see Miller Moss having the same success as a JJ McCarthy with a solid OL and a productive run game

Miller is more cerebral and will make USC great again. Miller has better connection with his receivers than Caleb ever did.

Doesn’t matter how good Miller is if we can’t protect him. If our offensive line blocks like last season then we will be in trouble

I seen Baker play while on The Rams I’ve seen Kyle Murray play and I’ve seen Caleb Williams. Miller doesn’t have near the arm talent of any of Lincoln Riley past QB this should be an open battle you watch that game 8 times it was better Wr play and open passes then anything else..
Idk bout tha mont Russ of OBs but he mos def can be a fan favorite of USC franchise bc of his story but first he has to finish it this year

I think you guys will be better on offense than you were last year, I think Caleb Williams was trying to be superman on every play when he didn't need to. Miller will just stick to that game plan.

Question for Gabe: how does this years SC defensive personnel match up to last year’s UCLA personnel. Is there a higher or lower potential for Coach Lynn to have success?
Overall lower IMO, but they were a top 10 unit. If we’re a top 30 unit we’re set

I agree, Miller Moss deserves to be the starter. However, he is still not as good as LSU's Garrett Nussmeier.
With the defense we're going to have, riley will just need Moss to not make mistakes. riley has for sure adjusted to Miller's strength and lack there off; that's what Guru's do, and riley is a bloody QB guru.

Michigan and Penn St.? SC has one of the toughest schedules in the country. Also you look at the odds for Heisman winners Miller is up there.
@@austinloughran3277 They don’t play OSU or Oregon. Michigan just won the title sure, but they won’t be the same this year and Penn State is mediocre at best. SC is going to be a middle of the pack team and Lincoln Riley will be an OC in the NFL in a few years.
Nobody plays every team in the Big Ten. SC has one of the toughest schedules in CFB this year playing both teams that were in last year’s championship (who are still good) plus Penn St. And open up with LSU and play #5 ND in non-conf. You make no sense.

They don’t play OSU or Oregon (the best teams in the Big 10) but they will STILL be 8-4 or 9-3 at best because of their schedule and the fact that they aren’t that good. They could easily go 7-5 or worse if the D is as bad as last year btw.

You call Penn State mediocre. The same could be said for Ohio State. What has Oregon ever done? Regardless, your dismissal of SC’s schedule being one of the toughest in the country is laughable.
Miller Moss was highly recruited out of high school. SC is has a good line, solid RB’s, one of the best receiver rooms in the country. And they gutted their entire shitty defensive staff, and replaced them with reputable coaches who have gone out and got solid players in the portal. SC will be fine. Gotta love the haters too ✌️
