Yeah hope Mason can rebound. Looked out of position a lot, grasping for runners from behind. Didn't see that head to head type Linebacking hits, same with Tackett. The defensive scheme had them getting mauled by Linemen running downhill. Glad the Grinch nightmare is over.
Perlotte hasn't been "committed" to UGA in months. This was a "when", not and "if". Speedy kid but his ranking has taken a nose dive since the beginning of last season and in particular, the first few months of this year. He was a strong Vol lean until about 2 weeks ago. Still think he sticks with USC but something is going on with him.
By what I have read, Perlotte was committed to UGA since 2022. He had an unofficial visit set up for the Vols this past week, but he visited USC instead. There was a possibility he would had flipped to Tennessee if he visited them.
@@theotherguy4478 He had 5 OV's scheduled this summer and USC was not one of them. He took his OV to Knoxville in the middle of June and at that point, Tenn and UGA were considered the finalists although UGA beat writers pretty much had their "UT flip" articles written and waiting. USC was a late entry in his recruitment. I do think he sticks but it can be questionable when a recruit only takes one visit.

His flip away from UGA had been anticipated for a long time, it was just a matter of to whom. The Vols had the inside track and that was according to Perlotte himself. Both Perlotte and UGA had long ago cooled on each other.
I think they should move Noa to NT. But if USC beats LSU, Michigan, & ND but lose 3 games, I would keep them out. Those 3 games need to be 1-2 at least to sniff the playoffs. But they can't lose to anyone else in my opinion. Maybe PSU.
Funny when you read all the SEC fans in the comment sections saying how UGA and UT weren’t interested in him. As if he didn’t @ Coach Odom way back when Juju committed a year ago. USC has always been on his radar and it helps when his favorite player of all time is Troy Polomalu 🟡🔴
