I personally disagree that stomp is not meta for berta. It does as much damage as a charge, and is a great follow-up move right after landing a charge or when something is trying to face tank you. All stomp attacks are easy to bait if you know how, but its those moments when you know you can land it that you should be using it anyway. Not saying balance isn't good though, better turning is always great. Just giving my experience
I was playing my alberta on islander when i realized i was starving in the sand caverns. So inmade my way to the hills for some berries when i met a dime, which i charged away at first but couldn’t handle the speed. Won the fight, got some berries, dying of dehydration too ( in the birchwoods pond rn ) so i went tto the pond and got a drink when i fell of a slight hill and died 💀😭
Dasp is more like a soft counter. It does great damage and has a good tail attack and slim body to potentially catch Alberta out. I do believe it comes down mostly to skill.
I think a skilled Meg could probably easily kill an Alberta because once its back kick is gone from stam drain it’s pretty easy to tail ride. Also you should do a Meg build.
I love the build it amazing irs exactly what I wanted, however I don't agree with one of the couters on the list that being Dime. I've fought so many dimes as a Alberta and I can say for sure unless in a group Dime gets BODIED HARD by Alberta they just can't do enough damage to kill it solo

Allosaurus is also a big threat for Alberta because everyone uses baalanced tail+Traction (while hunting) so its turing circle is way better than Alberta. And as an Allo player I have hunted a few Albertas.

@@sonothedrama Skilled amargs are rlly hard to kill, but new amarg players are pretty easy. Iggy is just unbeatable tho, 800 hp and 5000 cw for a 3 slot mid-tier is too much.
Stomp is actually strong asfck cus its aoe and its usable while troting and it hits prety far for 100 damage...I can chsrge in stomp and imediately headbutt...it legit oneshots raptors like deinonychus

I used all the things in the build but i did use stomp and back kick.cause of the update tap-charging is useless and back kick is op.Also ,stomp is perfect for finishing a fight when ur both on death scars.ive gotten so many stomp Ws and its hitbox is good when something is behind u. If they bait out ur stomp thhen back kick and if they bait that out too,then quickly precise move arond and then they are always in front of u. Hope it was good advice! pls get me likes🥲
i remember i went 4-1 (in my favour) against random people in 1v1s who were mid tiers as Alberta ,i only lost to a dasp to that annoying bonebreak+heavy bite combo. I used stomp as many finishers against maips and allos when they go in to try to get more bleed on me.
Love seeing my favorite dino to play get a build, love seeing multiple fights, and also that bloop and how op most modded dinos like dime are are some of the reasons I dislike modded servers in this game, fighting a giant dog/dragon monster in a dinosaur game just breaks the immersion for me and looks really out of place
No guy’s stump is actually really good if you know how to use it and it’s bad for raptors because once they’re on your back the stump actually hurts them even on your back I tried it it works but it won’t instantly kill them just do the stomp three times and they’ll die

Well sadly I think stomp is probably better now, balanced used to be 15% turning and now it’s 5% 😨😬

I think Dasp is a good counter to Albert. Bonebreak disables kick as well as lower it’s turn speed

My berta fends off most attackers just fine, but gets shredded by pack hunters. Any tips on how to defend against multiple opponents?

Wasn’t all the balanced tails and legs nerfed from achilo release from 10% and 15% down to just 5% which I think is barely noticeable

You realize that the eye sense is more beneficial because you don't need 4 members to get 10% more dmg
You only get the buff when you’re low with carnage, therefore you get value out of it for less time. With stampede, you get value the entire time
