Today's CDP takes a neat idea up to 11 - Let's abuse high-level Synchro Monsters with the Malefic archetype, as it may just be one of the best users of the new Level 12 Synchro Monster - The Crimson Dragon. Featured in the upcoming DUNE set, this monster can tutor Synchro World on summon, giving you another avenue to a Field Spell, and it can target another Synchro monster you control to return itself back to the Extra Deck and summon a new Dragon Synchro with the same level as the targeted monster from your Extra Deck. Because this summon is treated as a Synchro Summon, you can very well bring out threats like Cosmic Blazar Dragon, just by targeting another Level 12 Synchro such as Superheavy Samurai Overlord Masurao, or bring out a Hundred Eyes Dragon by targeting Stardust Dragon. Either way, these powerful Synchro monsters are waiting in the wings to support the real star archetype of this build, the Malefic.
The Malefic archetype is a set of DARK monsters that serve as corrupted alter egos of ace monsters, from Malefic Stardust Dragon to Malefic Rainbow Dragon. Each can banish the original version from the Extra Deck or Main Deck to summon themselves from the hand, but you unfortunately can only control 1 and you need a Field Spell on the board, otherwise they're destroyed... Well, that was until the last round of legacy support when Malefic Territory was released. Not only does this Continuous Spell activate a Malefic World to your Field Zone, but it also removes the 1 Malefic stipulation as well as the restriction preventing other monsters from attacking while a Malefic is on the field. But beyond summoning strong monsters, this theme has great Synchro potential itself due to the existence of Malefic Parallel Gear, which lets you Synchro Summon with a Malefic in your hand, and Malefic Paradox Gear, which can tribute itself to Special Summon a Parallel Gear while also tutoring any Malefic monster. Throw in the new Three-Eyed Ghost, which can tutor any Level 10 DARK monster such as Malefic Cyber End Dragon or Malefic Paradigm Dragon, and you have everything you need to win the duel in crushing fashion. Wield Sin itself with the Malefic!

Runick Fur Hire is so ridiculous when it fully pops off a good set up, Exositer is very mean when it pops off and has good set up but still not as overkill as Runick Fur Hire
you could also bring hot red dragon archfiend king calamity in your opponent trun and block all of their effects since it counts as a synchro summon
Yup another option here - I went with Blazar obvi, but there are benefits to others if you so choose.
@@YGOrganizationQuincymccoy i think "hot red" is better because it block your opponent to active cards or effect on the field. which is really insane.
how about "red supernova", i think it's good as well.

Assault synchron and revolution synchron may work Nicely in here :)
Definitely could, but Revolution Synchron is better in builds that use more LV4s and Field Spells, so that you can abuse Ancient Fairy Dragon. Malefic just doesn't accomplish that, nor does it ever want to destroy its field spell.
What's a good level 9 to use with red eyes?
@@bandai1983 In previous builds, I've used Crocodragon, but you can also go for Navy Dragon Mech. LV9 synchros have a very limited pool due to the power of the decks that traditionally access the level most *cough cough Virtual World*
@@YGOrganizationQuincymccoy ShenShen is a good KV9 floodgate but can also backfire.
I wish there was an easier way to buy cores, atm I tried to buy malefics on a few occasions and postage is always double that of the card cost :(. Great video but why must you make me really buy them now :D?
Haha glad you enjoyed the video but sorry for your wallet! I'd definitely advise testing any build you see online at least a bit online first, just to make sure you know what you're comfortable with. It's just a rule of thumb I have, before i commit to buying physical cards for what turns out to be a fun casual strategy. But to each their own!!!
@@YGOrganizationQuincymccoy These types of decks are mainly for locals to have fun so if there's an archtype I like I'll try it regardless of the results. But to get that 1-2 wins as nobody expects the deck its always fun.
May I ask you where you live? EU Cardmarket generally doesn't have such an issue :/
@@thefierybrib it does as even with some of these cores that are like 10-15 euro its really to hard to find them all from the same seller. And i try all options (most cards from sellers, cheapest option and reduced shipping) before i way the difference in price and shipping costs. + most sellers afer 4 cards go into tracked shipping.
