    New FASTenon available: 5mm x 28mm
The FASTenon is another new innovative product, from FastCap, that allows you to pull your joints together without clamps. The barbs bite into your material; holding your workpiece firmly together. Add a little glue inside each joint and it’s even stronger. Also great for aligning components when assembling. The FASTenon will change the way you build.

So the advantage here is that it pulls the 2 pieces together and doesn't require clamping when applying clamps could be awkward?

@almostalphas We think there are many advantages. It’s stronger in shear force than a wood domino, the Fastenon can be used without glue speeding things up, and yes, you can eliminate clamping where clamps are awkward.

Very cool product! Just to clarify, unlike regular dominos, once these are inserted, they are not coming out, right? I like to do dry fittings when using dominos first, then come back and add the glue. Sounds like maybe that is not possible with these. Thanks.

I'm thinking the same thing. I also dry fit first.

@frankb.3556 You are correct, we wouldn't recommend using the Fastenon for dry fitting. Once you put the Fastenon in, it is very challenging to get them out.

Can you say a little more about what this is for? I'm trying to understand why I would use this and the short 1 minute video didn't really say why.

If you aren’t a wood worker and you don’t know what a domino is, then there would be no reason for you to know what it is or why you would buy it 😄

@Hardcortes Sadly we don't have control over the shipping rates. The shipping companies are the ones who set them.
