My wife and I took a Trip To Chattanooga Tn and swung By Academy Sporting goods to do a Wife picks my lures challenge.
I ended up in a small local creek in North Georgia and the Bite was HARD. But we still managed to catch a few....

It’s not your fault. That is a tough section of that creek, because it is fished heavily. Downstream about a mile is where it gets awesome

We used to wade through creeks where I grew up we would have a stringer full by the end of the day iv caught 5lb out of creeks smaller then that

I’ve never been in a Academy Sports, I’m in Cherokee County and I’ve never seen one up this way, I’m really running low on tackle, I’m gonna go to Dicks and do some dumpster diving, probably gonna start making dumpster diving videos, been making treasure hunting videos for years and I’m still not monetized so I’m gonna start making different kind of content to try to get my views up so I can try to get monetized, I’d like to at least make gas money, I have a handful of fishing videos, my last video is a fishing video, I did pretty good at the river by my house the other day, landed 7 or 8 decent bass and missed about a dozen on a pumpkinseed looking senko, I really need a GoPro too, you can’t really make a proper fishing video without a GoPro, I had a hog on and almost got it in when it popped off, hopefully soon I can get me a GoPro and make better videos, I love your videos dude, you’re definitely my favorite Georgia fisherman on UA-cam, appreciate the uploads bud, thanks for sharing, God Bless & Good Luck🙏🏻🎣

Sounds like you're on the right track, I started out with a Iphone and a $40 camera off amazon and slowly upgraded as I went on. Keep grinding!
@@MaddoxBassFanatic if I get up that way I’ll have to check it out, I’m living in hickory flat right now, I haven’t been able to work a full time job in awhile because I’m trying to take care of my elderly mom so it’s been tough, that’s why I was talking about dumpster to see if they threw out any tackle, I’ve been watching a lot of dumpster diving videos on UA-cam and I can’t believe the stuff people are finding, I watch this one guy who dumpster dives at pet stores and he’s finding a variety of fish they throw out in the plastic bags, he saves a lot of them, he even found a live octopus, I cannot believe they do that but yeah those videos get a lot of views so I’m gonna try to start making content like that as well to see if it gets me closer to getting monetized, thanks bud, God Bless!!

The green tinge means the water was treated with fertilizer and it's makes the fish docile not wanting to bite I avoid fishing when the state puts it in our lakes and water ways
That could have been the case!
Waternmelon red is a more natural color and not that great for stained water imo but green pumpkin is a natural to dark stained water color because it puts out a better profile. I agree black blue or the junebug is better in that almost muddy water situation lol. The white plopper imo was not a good color for that water lol the loon would have been better and the one she prefers 😂.
I don't know you never know what the fish are eating and yes it would fun see her challenge you to a fishing challenge good luck I have been enjoying your videos thank you

I don’t know how you Southerners drink that sweet tea. I tried it when I was visiting a friend in NC (I’m from PA) and it was just pure sugar and made me crave tons of water 😂
It definitely wasn't bad lure picks, its just the creek. I have fished it many times hoping for a different outcome but every time it's identical to your trip. That creek 100% sucks and is always stained like that it never clears up. You did good though, nothing wrong on your part.
I heard this creek was bad from a couple people after I went lol... Wish I knew before hand!
