Thank you so much!! I'd been watching this in English, and had a sneaking suspicion the localization team changed a lot of it for the worse. I'm seeing differences in the dialogue already.
They've changed a bit, but as a Russian speaking person with education in languages, I can see some difficulties for localisation team, you can't just translate some phrases into English. However, for rude words, I would just use transcription like ebuchie pirogi for example.
@@xBGL What I felt was that the localization team felt they had to make it 'clever', so everything's more quippy than it should be. I've seen this in other American translations, like when the British kids' film The Magic Roundabout got released over here as Doogal, and they hired a bunch of celebrities to make snarky fart jokes.
@@AlexReynard yeah it happens all the time, but honestly I dont think that Atomic heart localisation is bad, just some parts arent particularly true, and rude language isnt on point in comparison with original voice over

@@xBGL Thanks I like to watch 100% no commentary walkthroughs and it’s unlikely that I’ll find another one that is played in Russian with English subtitles and so long as you look actually look around your environment, work toward completing all that you can and are fully upgraded in the end then it’s a good enough 100% for me (also who watches something out of order)
Yeah, mostly I agree. But, for example, I am not a big fan of Chinese, I can watch movie with Chinese dub or play strategy game where voice hardly matters, but in srory game I would rather change.

I'm playing the game now and i prefer the audio in Russian because it's more authentic

Russian sounds much better but trying to find out what the background characters are saying is a pain
The subtitles system in game is bad in general, small, hard to notice etc. Devs said they are working on them, so I hope to see some improvements
