This is my favorite Twilight Zone episode. I watched it as a child with my grandma and mom. I’m so happy you chose to review it, thank you much. Liked and subscribed ✅
I guess the personification of death breaking the 4th wall may be to say that death comes for us all and there is no escape and no hiding from it. You think you're safe behind the 4th wall, but you're not. Death sees you. We all die, even YOU gentle viewer!
It's a 5 star ⭐✨⭐ episode for me! Ironically, Inger Stevens ended up ending her own life for unknown reasons! This episode also inspired the magnificent film Carnival Of Souls! It's paradoxical and ironic that she ends up in Tucson Arizona! Goodbye until whenever!
This is one of my favorite episodes and now I'm scared because I'm moving and will have to drive to my new home. soon. This is a believable episode if you believe in God.
Poor Nan, she was beautiful, but she died. The hitch-hiker was an angel, he came to pick her up and take her spirit to her eternal destiny; good ,or bad or ugly. Luke 16:19-31, Matthew 25:31-46. John 8:32, John 8:36, Acts 2:38, Acts 2:40, Rev. 20:11-15, Matt. 6:9-15, Matthew 12:31-32, Deut. 28, Deut. 18:10-12, Lev. 18:22, Romans 6:23, John 11:25-26, I Samuel 16:7b, Rev 3:20.

Leonard Strong as the hitcher
That guy that played the creepy sailor was in North by Northwest.
