Northern Lights September 2019 Alaska | Solar Storm creates amazing aurora borealis show in Alaska

On August 31 we were camping in our RV on the old Alaska highway outside of Tok, Ak and were treated to the most spectacular northern lights show! We were SO excited to see the lights and so early in the season - it was a treat. We captured time lapse footage using our GoPro Hero 7 Black on the night lapse setting (30 second shutter speed).

It’s hit or miss. Some people visit and never see them. Winter is your best chance!
