I love the Securid. I don’t have a wallet form, just the card slider. I can fold bills into it if absolutely if needed. People here in the states that have never seen it, always ask where I got it and what’s it called.
@@Youknowthebo Depends on your use cases - one of the best for cash IMO. And you can access cards pretty quickly, but the lower amount of cards the better - the wallet accommodates 12 cards, I use about 8 and that is more than fine. The mini is only as big as a standard card, then depending on your carry dictates the thickness to an extent.
I've bought the Secrid because of your review and I'm loving every part of it. The ekster has been kind of in the radar but I don't think I'm ready in replacing my Secrid. I'll wait for your next video regarding how the leather ages with the Ekster. Keep safe and stay health Bo!
I have the original Ekster from Kickstarter. It was a little bulkier and larger but I honestly liked how it was made and the type of leather more. I also have the first generation Parliament and Senate.
Bo Ismono The original Ekster had a money slot in the back which is why I liked it so much. The Parliament is nice but I feel like with too much cash it makes it a little bulky (I don’t carry much cash so it works for me), but I also feel like there should maybe be a little more material on the flap because with cards in those slots it doesn’t lay flush when it’s closed and that really bugs me (especially with any amount of cash). The Senate with the band works perfectly. Band stays in place and a little more cash works nicely as well. At the moment I am checking out the Trayvax Summit.
Was never the big fan of those rather thick mechanical wallets. I carry an A-slim Ninja, that is among the slimmest out there. No RFID, I only carry 5 cards and a few bills. And that is is truly a ninja wallet. Goes in front or hides easily anywhere in a backpack. And it´s really well crafted from a single piece of skin. Looking forward to hear you verdict, Bo.
I bought a knock-off secrid for $15 because I wanted to see if I liked the style before spending over $100cdn. And I found the bill fold holder thing felt soooooo cheap. My knock off has lasted over a year with zero failures yet so surpassed my expectation. But because of that fold and that the $15 lasted I have decided the secrid wasn't for me. That band system just looks more premium!
I started with a Secrid knockoff as well, though my bill fold holder broke or better said ripped after about six months. The Secrid bill fold holder feels way more premium. It's thicker and sturdier without sacrificing flexibility. Ripping would pretty much be impossible. I have it for 18 months now and I cannot make out any wear and tear except where it is supposed to be: the leather. That is basically the difference you will pay for.
Cash not necessary, but gold and silver are! Any pockets for those? 🤣 Nice video. As someone who suffers from sciatica pain, I am extremely picky about wallet size and functionality
Secrid just got their wallet to an almost perfection level. I would never change mine for anything. This looks cool though, but yeah not for me. Great review as always Bo
When i first saw Parliament, i thought you were going to play some George Clinton. 😎 Maybe if you fold the bills in half, like a regular billfold wallet and tuck half under the strap, and half over it would be more secure(?) Thanks for sharing.
I take my reviews very seriously. This video was not a review as you can tell from the title. I switch from one wallet to another, so I'm not sure of which of those two your comment refers to. Can you elaborate what "rattling" you refer to?
Thanks for the video Bo! We hope you enjoy it for many years to come, the Italian Vachetta leather ages beautifully ;)
What color model is that Vachetta Parliament? Torino Tan or Brescia Bronze?

"Will this be my new favorite wallet?"
By the looks of it, no.
So a year later, what do you think of the ekster ? is it still in one piece?
I will do an update video pretty soon 😉
I have a few different wallets, but you should check out the Frenchie Mini. Great leather, quick pulls, no folding cash.
I have seen frenchie wallets on instagram. Looks interesting 👍

whete do u put coins?
I usually just put coins in my pocket. And once I am home I put that into a big piggy bank to safe some cash

Cool. How do you deal with bills and the money Band? Does it work well. For you?

I appreciate your honesty and unbiased review, since you’re not sponsored by them.
Thank you very much. I'm happy to hear that you see it this way.

Those slim wallets are nice. But once you get used to the quick access mechanism of Secrid wallets, there is no going back Imho.
What keyboard is that?
Its the vortex poker3. Here is my review ua-cam.com/video/gaJVXOy6Q2g/v-deo.html
Team sicrid here. I love how mine aged. I must say my secrid wallet is the longest wallet ive ever used.
Mine too. Have been using the Secrid for years
Awesome keyboard! What is it and where do I get one?

Been using secrid wallet for 5+ years. Looks almost new.

Thanks for the review ! Have you tried the Exentri ? I wouldn’t say it’s the best quality ever but for sure the best design IMHO.
That smaller wallet looks like pure trash metal showing and worn-out. Trash even when new it looks like a finished product.

The darkbrown leather cardwallet is awesome.. .

Thanks, Darren. The Secrid is just an awesome wallet 👍👍
What's that cool colourful keyboard please!?

Cool idea. I will see if that works. Thanks, mate 😉 ✌️
People knew if a review is a huge joke no matter how the reviewer hide it. I wonder how a rattling and loose mechanism is better, lol.

A wallet? For what? Finally contactless payment is available almost everywhere in Germany too. 😉
Agreed, I use my card 95% of the time. However, with the rise of contactless payment rfid protection becomes even more important.
Bo Ismono
I do not use a card because of that. I am paying with my watch. The payment data can not be read without confirmation.
Nothing beats bellroy . Period.
