- I've built a few of these kits over the years, all in brightly coloured schemes.
I have noticed a deterioration in the quality of the kit probably due to the fact that it is quite old now and the mould was quite worn out.
Its not a bad kit but also not a great kit but when built it does look impressive.
Same goes for the decals, not great but not terrible. Looking back I think I should have cut the underwing decals before applying and then line everything back up on the model. It would have been far easier than trying to apply them in one single piece

Thanks Steve..Looking back I should have cut the decals underneath into 3 sections...It would have been alot qwicker and easier...I see Revell do this aircraft in 1/48 with this colour scheme...Maybe see it on your channel soon 🤔😉 👍

What colours would you recommend for painting moggy?

I'm surprised that Airfix have yet to jump in with a 1/48 one or a 1/72 that's not a starter kit.
Sorry if I've missed anything but did the decals come with the set or separately?
They were bought seperately...
Hey, great build. And a quick question, for the canards, did you use a spare decals strips from the sheet? It's hard to believe that xtradecals got that wrong 🫣🤔

Cheers bud, I'm thinking about creating paint mask for canards. But thus, will create a new problem, matching flag colors 🤨 for red, good old fashioned humbrol 19 should do, however I have no clue which color to use for blue 🫣
