The new Tiguan has less h.p. but more torque. Every automotive writer that I have heard/read about says that the '18 Tiguan just doesn't have the powerful feel of the earlier models. I think I'll just keep my '16. It's a bullet.

Josip Ricov kao što rekoh, imam ja perla bijeli sa r line extrijer I interijer, panorama krov, etc etc, ali nažalost 190hp. 240hp model mi je bilo previše para!

BELÍSSIMO.
If it came with a S-Tronic automatic would be best compact SUV for its price and comfort. Because the VW DSG is a disaster gearbox. We had the Tiguan with DSG. it's very jerky and not smooth when changing from backwards to forwards and at low speed starts. (really embarrassing) we changed to a BMW X1 with StepTronic box. What a difference!
Than you should of gotten Audi...
DSG or (and) S-tronic is same thing!!!!
VW uses a name DSG and Audi uses a name S-tronic ;)
But the VW DSG has some issues (quite jerky on low speeds, oil leaks, unreliable after an amount of KM driven) ... i haven't heard about gearbox problems on Audi's atleast...
Yves Martens you think that Audi has no problems with S-tronic.

Why can't i talk ? :p i have owned 2 VW's, golf 7 & this Tiguan, both have annoying DSG automatics, very jerky at low speeds and read a lot of issues with it aswell. we're swapping the tiguan now for a 8 speed automatic from BMW, feels way smoother
Very nice desing from outside-inside but it's made to break down very soon. really soon...if you value your money look elsewhere.

Full Greys0n this is the European Tiguan...witch is smaller than the American Tiguan...VW decided in 2016 that America would get a bigger Tiguan that could have a optional third row since Americans tend to prefer more space personally I prefer the European model but it's unfortunately unbelievable to American buyer's...

Full Greys0n I don’t think any of these guys here know what they’re talking about including the reviewer.. the Tiguan LWB aka Allspace is available in both North America and Europe, the model he’s showing here is not an Allspace, it’s the normal short wheelbase car which is currently unavailable in USA/Canada.

Yeah its the European Exclusive version. But you can buy the US version to. It calls Tiguan Allspace. So European has just two version of the Tiguan.
