Thank you for tuning in my friends! I have another new Alaska cruise series coming later this summer of 2024 on a different cruise line. This footage is from our May cruise all combined. Happy New Year!
Enjoyed the video but m😂y advice: DON’T DO ALASKA ON A BIG ASS SHIP. We did Alaska a year ago on Celebrity Eclipse and never had an issue with getting on or off the ship. Plus, our captain sailed us soooo close to Hubbard Glacier. It was the highlight of the cruise. Sorry, Dev, Mendenhall is a sorry second place. But I agree that Alaska should never be missed. We sailed in June and had great weather but those 10pm sunsets and 4am sunrises are something else! My last suggestion is to sail from Vancouver as you’ll be a day closer to Alaska, plus it’s a cool ass city and port.
My little autistic kiddo loves your voice. I watch your videos and he must have heard you speak bc now he will watch the same video over and over replaying the same part. He loves hearing you say “ Good afternoon my friends hope you are having an awesome fantastic day”Over and over and over again just those 10 seconds on repeat. Racking up the views for you lol
We saw over20 bald eagles on a shore while in Alaska.I lived in Hawaii so Alaska was the complete opposite of my normal life! Dress really warm, even in the summer! Alaska is gorgeous!
LOOOVE this video length!!! My fiancé and I don’t watch TV- we watch our fav youtubers. This is a fantastic length for us!!! Happy New Year Dev, Bianca, and family!!! ❤️
not sure how I came across your channel, but WOW!! I am so glad I did!! That was the most tranquil and breath taking videos of Alaska I have ever watched!! Keep up the great work and I look forward to future videos!! =)
I always love your videos, living vicariously through you. I'm a retired submarine sailor, nice to see a boat out there. One of the things I wanted to do after retirement was to take a cruise, on the surface, hopefully soon. Enjoy your lives!!
It is very nice to see that you got access to Coastal Kitchen every evening as well as having both a kettle and coffee-maker in your room. Most cabins do not have any such amenities and one has to go to the self-service beverage-stations and/or the Diamond lounge to get hot drinks on demand.
Thank you for the video! I'll admit after watching your video it changed my mind from "I have no interest in travelling to someplace cold" to "Alaska is really beautiful"... 🙂
Beautiful video! The views mixed with the music you picked was so calming. Even though I watched your other Alaska cruise videos I greatly enjoyed seeing the nature shots again. Look forward to your next Alaska cruise!
I've seen your last Alaskan cruise, but this video sold me 100%! Once my health turns around for the better, I promised my wife & kids we'll definitely go... Thanks for the footage Dev & Happy New Year to you & Bianca!
Took me about 3 days of tuning in to watch the entire video but it was well worth it. Such beautiful footage and lots of great information. Keep up the good work. 👍🏼 Next stop Dubai!
Hello Dev. I have been watching travel videos for 4 years & I JUST came across your page! You are now in my favorites! Your soothing voice, explanations on where you are, what you guys are doing, eating & drinking are awesome! Your pictures & videos are incredible!! Thank you for your hard work! Bianca is a joy as well! I live in Spring Hill so I’m looking forward to the Universal & Disney videos as well!
You did a magnificent job comparing royal vs carnival. I have done 60+ cruises on royal, carnival and ncl and have had a great time on all. A cruise is what you make of it!
Just be super careful with booking outside cruise excursions and have travel insurance. Never know if something happens , you get hurt or accident. Cruise lines will not know where you are. Great vlog , awesome trip
One of the best travel videos out there. Watched it a couple times. Great job! We're going on our first Alaskan cruise soon and can't wait! Your video is getting us hype!
Great informative video - Alaska is on our bucket list - Norway on Anthem in June 2024… We were surprised that it took you a while to discover and enjoy the MDR - we love the chilled pace of the breakfasts and decent’ish quality of the dinner menu. We stopped venturing in to the Windjammer years ago… Cheers, James
Love your enthusiasm. I’ve been to Alaska on Disney wonder out of Vancouver. Loved it and will go again. Maybe on the royal Caribbean. BTW I went as a solo traveler and never felt alone. There were other solo travelers at our table and we hung out sometimes on the cruise and on excursions.
I did an Alaska cruise years ago with Holland America, mid size ship so it could go in the inner passage. A very elegant cruise line. We Also saw wild life and spectacular views. Their main dining room had beautiful food, we didn't need specialty dining ( no I'm not being paid lol) That just happened to be the line we took for Alaska. I really enjoyed this video, it felt like I was back on an Alaskan cruise. Brilliant job! I will subscribe. Thank you!
You’re very fortunate to have seen so many whales. We sailed on the Quantum last August and despite spending a lot of time looking, we never saw a whale. We had the same weather as you in mid August and also found the food in the Windjammer to be awful. In Juneau we rented a car from Turo that was right at the parking garage at the port. We drove the 20 minutes to Mendenhall Glacier. We practically had the place to ourselves until our walk back when all of the tourist buses arrived. If you go back to Nugget Falls/Mendenhall Glacier, I highly recommend renting a car for a few hours. It's nice watching your video and reminiscing about our trip.
Dev, you inspired my husband and I to take an Alaskan cruise for our 5 wedding anniversary - we splurged on a balcony of course! We sail on May 5 2024 and will be spending two days prior in Seattle! Can’t wait!! 🏔️🚢 Thanks for uploading this longer video!!
So glad you guys did this Dev!! So many people stick to their little circle and don't take exciting adventures.. like kayaking in Alaska!! Good for you! Love life. Try everything. Nothin but ❤ for ya Dev.
..not that this was your 1st adventure! I know you've been to Japan, etc... I just meant Good for you, in general! When you try new things, 9/10 times you are glad you did!
Thank you for sharing this very valuable information. We are planning our Alaskan cruise now but have someone in our group that gets motion sickness and seeing the swells makes me want to book the Vancouver loop in the inside passage . Much calmer seas. Love the ship you were on an will look into that as well . Thank you again for sharing .
Now that you’ve taken an amazing Alaska cruise, you’ll compare all future cruises to it. I sure do. Can’t wait for my next one! Juneau is my favorite port. Did the Taku Glacier Lodge salmon bake excursion. Float plane across multiple glaciers, mama bear and cubs, delicious food and amazing scenery. God’s glorious creation in full display! 🙌🏼
We took the same trip this past August, and Victoria was just beautiful! We had drinks/dinner by the water, and the sunset was unreal. I really wish Royal Caribbean would do a full port day there. Many businesses/garden tours close by 5pm:( Many thanks for sharing!
Omgosh I enjoyed this so much. Very beautiful, EXCELLENT footage and super informative. You guys are great and I love your appreciation for scenic beauty.
The best time we have found is September for an Alaskan cruise. We love Celebrity Cruise lines. Fantastic food, service and beautiful ships! Glad you had a wonderful cruise. Hope you try it again on a smaller ship.
We did a Princess cruise inside passage end of June of this year. Beautiful weather, some rain when leaving Vancouver. Was an amazing cruise and like you will definitely do it again. Love your videos!
Circa minute 13:50, how early did the Fitness Centre open on that ship? How early did you go that morning? I have found that gyms are rarely crowded on cruise-ships, but you can easily find even fewer people at several hours of the day e.g., breakfast time and certainly mid-afternoon to late afternoon. The Solarium also tends to be very quiet and convenient early mornings and early evenings. Every day, going from the gym to one of the Solarium's heated Jacuzzis is a special treat!
Circa minute 4:00, as you mentioned a Junior Suite, I was reminded of the Loyalty Programme, which gives Pinnacle guests a complimentary cruise at every 350-cruise-point milestone from the 1,400-point mark. Where are you guys in the tiers of the Crown & Anchor Society? It is very exciting to see how many extra values, discounts, and complimentary items are offered even from the first level (Gold).
Thank you for a very informative and detailed video. I’ve never been on an Alaskan cruise but I am planning one soon. But this was just the best video and I love all the critters you got to see from your balcony too!
I am planning this trip for myself, husband, and two teenage sons for 2025. You helped me solidify which ship to take. Thank you!! I found you through Yankee in the South who mentioned you in a live. Looking forward to seeing more videos.
Been there 3 times and headed for a 4th in August on Princess out of SF. I can never get enough of it. And Tracy’s was always packed and also ended up at the Hanger as well. Thanks for tips.
Even in the summer you will see little icebergs. Alaska is absolutely beautiful. I loved sitting out on my balcony the most. The crab at Tracy’s is delicious We definitely want to go back. I want to try Princess cruise ship. Enjoyed your video
Great video and commentary. Really appreciate the “real life” aspect of your video. Looking forward to our trip to Alaska later this year on Quantum and your video will really help on what to expect. Surprised it was so cold on your trip. Dry bag looks like a must!
Hi PCDev I cannot wait too see your next video. I will be doing an Alaskan Cruuse in September 2024. That will be Mt first cruise. Thank you for all the good information
Thank you for sharing you both are so enjoyable to watch I've always wanted to go on a cruise but I don't think I would ever get to because I get seasick. Alaska looks amazing. And only because of you guys I can see what it looks like thank you so much for the experience that I would never have😊❤
Taking a one-way cruise will avoid that longer crossing to Seattle (avoiding most of that rocky ocean). Smaller ships will get you into more ports and longer stays. I hope your 2024 adventure takes you to new places. Protip: renting a car in Juneau and Skagway is super easy and gives you the freedom to explore those towns away from crowds. Nice video, thanks! I'm ready for my May return to Alaska!
Hi we just went on this cruise in June. Weather was beautiful . I totally agree with Windjammer the food was not so great. Overall the cruise was amazing
I am really enjoying your Alaska cruise videos. This is the same itinerary we took. Juneau is amazing. We did the tram to the top of the mountain I have had a fear of them but conquered my fear there.
486 days to boarding the Anthem of the seas August 1st -8th. From Seattle- Juneau- Skagway- Victoria. It's my birthday gift! As my bday is on the 4th. So so excited. It'll be my 1st cruise.
Thanks, Dev, for the info on Royal Carribean & Alaska. I always wanted to go to Alaska. We've been on Soverign of the Seas. That was a nice ship. Have fun and enjoy you two !
Thank you for tuning in my friends! I have another new Alaska cruise series coming later this summer of 2024 on a different cruise line. This footage is from our May cruise all combined. Happy New Year!
We’re walking in front of you in Victoria 😊 we met you guys on the boat and our son loved it!!
Enjoyed the video but m😂y advice: DON’T DO ALASKA ON A BIG ASS SHIP.

Hopefully you get to try NCL for Alaska.
Just beautiful! Great video. Happy for you two!
Would love to know what cruise line you're taking we have a Holland America booked and that would be really cool if you were on the same ship
I love his voice it is smooth and relaxing 😊
I agree. Perfect tone and nice accent fo sho 😅
Great job Dev! Love that this is over an hour! **popcorn** ☺️
Same. Will watch this tomorrow night ❤
I took the Radiance of the Seas to Alaska in 2014 for the most memorable vacation of my life. The most beautiful place I've ever seen.
19:23 wow just wow God made a beautiful world...
perfect choice of music IMO
As Bianca so beautifully said - spectacular! This entire Vlog was stunning and so well done.

Do it...

I've seen your last Alaskan cruise, but this video sold me 100%! Once my health turns around for the better, I promised my wife & kids we'll definitely go... Thanks for the footage Dev & Happy New Year to you & Bianca!
Thank you!! Love your content!! Totally sold on the junior suite with balcony!! Well worth the price for an Alaska cruise. AMAZING cruise!!🥰🥰
Took me about 3 days of tuning in to watch the entire video but it was well worth it. Such beautiful footage and lots of great information. Keep up the good work. 👍🏼 Next stop Dubai!
Great job being more creative with filming!!! I’m talking about the relaxing music with the nature/scenery. So calming and relaxing, loved it!!
By far the best Alaskan Cruise vlog I have seen! You did a great job capturing the sights.

Awe inspiring, but the best is the glacier...if you got to see the calving....it made me weep! Thanks for taking us along....
Just be super careful with booking outside cruise excursions and have travel insurance. Never know if something happens , you get hurt or accident. Cruise lines will not know where you are. Great vlog , awesome trip
Amazing shot 58:53 and forward. Other lit up cruise boat on water was gorgeous.
One of the best travel videos out there. Watched it a couple times. Great job! We're going on our first Alaskan cruise soon and can't wait! Your video is getting us hype!
This all looks so familiar 🤔😂😅
I think he put them all together for one video
Great informative video - Alaska is on our bucket list - Norway on Anthem in June 2024…
