My last save was the at middle of chapter 15 and in chapter 16 I shot the RPG at the final boss but miss😢 Reload, rushed and everything went well until I fucked up the escape sequence😢 Eventually I made it on 5:23:40 total playtime😂

As nice as the positive vibes are i’ve made 38 attempts at Professional mode now and *cannot escape the Village in the very beginning* despite following this guide to a T so i’m convinced either this shit is *impossible* without infinite ammo guns or despite the reassurance, i do not have the ability to make it through this and won’t see the Handcannon or the Cat Ears till they release the DLC that unlocks everything that you can pay for lol. Swear i’m gonna rip my beard off if I keep failing at this shit.
@@Swaggaccino did that last night when the update for Mercenaries dropped. Lol. I’ve tried both methods, I don’t know what to do at this point. I’ve tried using Neon’s method of doing the Sweeper and a Grenade at the top of the tower, i’ve tried getting the shotgun and camping the roof to get kills that way, i’ve tried grabbing the flash in the cabin before the Village (to no avail, dude in there cockblocks me every time), i’ve tried just running around the outside edge of the village and just surviving, every strat that’s available on UA-cam that you’ve probably heard of i’ve tried at this point, it’s like this game just does not want me to get a fresh Professional Difficulty clear. At all.

It's so refreshing to see a guide like this where the youtuber gets hit and gets slowed down sometimes, when I watch a guide where they play perfectly and avoid every attack I'm always affraid I'm doing something wrong.
There is a difference between getting S+ rank and doing an actual speed run, you can take your time on some parts and mess up a bit during a S+ run it’s fine
I can confirm you have to be an average gamer to easily platinum this game. Your S+ runs can be FAR from perfect, and you can still easily get S+. Just get the armor and Chicago and make it to the castle. That’s all there is to it. Other than that, literally NOTHING is required (like getting treasures and stuff). Just keep moving on to the next area, and before you know it, you’ll be on the jetski.
And obviously you must know what comes next in the game in order to save time, but you will probably have a good sense of the routes if you are on a platinum hunt and have had 2 runs before.

@@nicolasperalta1504 you can unlock it on pro ng+ it should be MUCH easier with unlimited saves and upgraded weapons heals from last playthrough ect you can get it it's honestly easy even for a boomer noob like me
@@NeonSlice Yeah i took some pointers from it for my Hardcore run and finished the game 5hours dead. Took me a bit longer because i didn't have Armor Ashley or the sweeper so some combat stuff needed more time, but it was a huge relief to have that so i knew i was on track. Huge thanks 👍
@@nicolasperalta1504 go through a couple times and unlock the infinite rocket launcher and do a pro run will be a cake walk you can't get s+ in ng+ cause the infinite rocket launcher is a new game+ weapon so just use it to get the sweeper that's what i'am going to do

This might possibly be the best walkthrough I've ever watched. Not only that but you took a rather daunting task and turned it into something simple and even added training wheels for some added comfortability. Honestly 10/10 guide if there ever was one. If you complete game on assisted sell everything before final boss buy single shot rocket launcher and as many health sprays (also sell gun then re buy cheapest to kil hunter at start of game )as possible use rocket launcher to one shot boss then ng+ professional go to merchant after jumping out of window sell health sprays and gun buy inf rocket launcher (Ashley and boat part will still be harder)

I got the platinum today thanks to your guides brother. Took me 5 playthroughs in total. The last thing for me was a handgun and knife only run which was pretty easy in NG + with the fully upgraded Red9, primal knife and cat ears. Really appreciate the effort you put into these guides!!!

After getting clapped by Mendez on my first Pro run, I decided to study a bit of his moveset and have two tips to give for anyone that might be struggling. First, use the i-frames of jumping off the second floor to your advantage. Sit up there as long as possible. The second has to do with everyone's favourite attack, the flaming planks. This attack has two variations: 1) He lifts one plank in front of him. In this one, you ideally want to be sitting fully left or fully right. If you are, just sprint to the opposite direction and don't stop. If you aren't, you won't have enough room to avoid both attacks. In that case, sprint to one direction first and after you dodge the first plank, immediately flip to the opposite direction. 2) He lifts both planks in front of him. He's going to throw both at the same time. This attack is a bait, all you have to do is stand completely still.
I've found that the easiest way to consistently dodge the flaming wood is to crouch and strafe towards the direction that he's throwing from, he'll miss 100% of the time unless you did it wrong

For those who have the deluxe edition and don't want to face the mutt, there is a guaranteed spinel in the hanging treasure outside the belle sisters house. If you find just one random spinel prior to castle that will give you enough as long as you do the medallions at the castle gate. This is what I did and it still allowed me to have infinite amo before the water room
I believe the one above the Bridge in Valley is a guaranteed spinel as well. Meaning that if can land a high pressure shot in the middle of that Hellscape, you get both of those, you can skip the dog entirely, no matter what, and get the exclusive in Audience Chamber after the Outer Walls Medallions sheering off somewhere near 5 Minutes from the overall time, and saving a SHIT LOAD of bullets. Theoretically. How delightfully pay-to-win.
@@MEXICANASSASSIN2 No, above the bridge in Valley, right next to where you get the Hexagon Key with the bird "puzzle". Right after you get your gear back from the factory. EDIT: Directly above and to the left of where he is at 18:23. You might be able to hit it from the platform where you go up the ladder to get in before engaging, but it would require either the Rifle or starter handgun for lowest possible spread. I'll give it a try in the next couple days, and come back with my results.
@@MEXICANASSASSIN2 Confirmed: The Expanded Map Treasure above him at 18:23 IS always a spinel. So between that one and the one in the Checkpoint, you can have 25 before the castle without ever fighting the dog, and 30 from the Medallions at the gate. The god is no longer necessary.

Just a tip for other players: If you do have spare cash left over after getting what the guide recommends and you haven't got a ton of heals, the merchant sells a first aid spray for 10k in each chapter. Could be all the difference!

Just wanted to say thanks for your guide! I just got S+ in Hardcore by mostly following it. I took a few liberties (and waaay more damage lol) and finished around 5:15. I finished the Village in just under 2 hours, and made it to the Island at just over 4. I think as long as you get to the island by 4 hours, you're golden.

Useful thing I noticed about the Del Lago fight in my run, follow where it goes to avoid the stuff in the water. If Del Lago goes either left or right of an object then follow it. I noticed this I never got hit by that stuff it helped a lot. Annoyingly there will be times where it’s a bit difficult to tell which side it went but try your best to pay attention to it’s tail fin or the waves it leaves behind to help. Hope this helps someone.
Thank you so much man , before i went for S+ on professional i completed all other trophies so i could have a good idea about what to expect , played through the original and the remake countless times & knew i could do it without watching but i said why not and i found this video . i only had 2 trophies left to platinum this one & that was professional S+ and Normal S+ i honestly thought i was gonna have to redo the game on normal s+ but they gave me all three trophies , deer antlers , cat ears, chicken head , & raccoon tail all because i followed your guide , you really were thorough & left enough space to switch gamestyles to my liking without ever feeling rushed or having to do Glitches . I came here to send my thanks to you, I'm Brazilian, so at times because I don't know English I did some silly things, but following your guide I managed to finish in 5:03:40, it was very extresante, but when I completed it, it was very liberating, very thanks for making these guide and helping everyone who loves re4! I had to do the whole island 3x because I couldn't save the game anymore, I died a total of 5x, one of them on the jet-ski, I almost gave up, I have comments on that same video saying that, but thanks to the messages they sent me I got up the courage and managed to complete the game.

21:16 you can shoot the plank on the well to your left to get the treasure above it. If you do it from the distance (same place you shot the first treasure) you will not trigger the chainsaw and can proceed as per guide. Make sure you are not getting any closer or the shot will trigger the chainsaw. I hope it helps. Great guide!

A couple of small things I do for the first village rush part that I do: you can run up and stealth kill enemies before they turn around. You don't have to crouch. I also running slash boxes with the knife. After climbing the tower I save my grenades until chainsaw man shows up since he's too hard to shoot off the ladder. That way when I jump down ( or fall down) I don't get swarmed.

Update, I did it. Final time 5h02. I got stuck on so many parts. First the Bella Sisters in chapter 6 took me 2hours to pass. I almost gave up. Next hurdle was the 2 gannadors in chapter 10 before the throne room. Final one was the duo El Gigante in the mines. For some reasons, I had to use so much heals for them even though they're not that hard. Thank you again for this amazing guide, can't wait for your next one

I haven’t even seen the rest of your content but by just seeing this video I can tell you’re an awesome creator that’s genuinely helping the RE community. I thank you for making this long yet very insightful and worthwhile video.
I would recommend some small changes to Chapters 1 and 2. If you have the Deluxe Edition, bring the Skull Shaker along. You can reliably juke out the villager from the cabin just before the Village gate. At this point you can try and retry to get a perfect parry on him if necessary. You only want the flashbang. It will be useful for Chapter 2. The Skull Shaker will allow you to push out Dr. Salvador from the tower ladder. Drop the grenade only when your Sweeper and Shaker are out of ammo (as in needing to reload, the Sweeper takes ages). You should be able to get roughly some 12 kills this way. If you luck out, you can finish the village sequence right there. You can burn a little bit more time in the farm after killing both villagers. If you go for the treasure route, you can get a Flagon that will allow you to buy an extra Healing Spray in Chapter 2. AFAIK, the enemy reinforcements only spawn AFTER the cow head barges through the door, so you can go upstairs and kill the pitchfork lady and get some extra ammo (I recommend doing this IF you finish the Village sequence early, otherwise, skip it). For Chapter 2, kill the rats along the way to save a little bit of time. Buy the Case upgrade and sell the Flagon if you got it or, alternatively, save it for later. For the lady on the way to the emblem, shoot her feet. If you get it right, she'll fall down for an immediate knife kill. Otherwise, aim for headshots and get BEHIND her to get the insta-kill knife prompt. Equip the Kitchen knife for this. Use the shotgun and clear a path to the RIGHT of the main arena. You'll need to shotgun or sweep anywhere between one to three villagers. Get the emblem and make a run for the crank. Blow up the red barrel near the crank. After that, throw the flashbang you got from Chapter 1. Should give you enough time to crank safely. If you are feeling frisky, drop down to ground level and jump into the cabin that's below the crank for a Healing Spray. Keep in mind the door has a lock that you have to knife and there may be enemies outside. Get back to the merchant, store the Sweeper and buy the Sniper Rifle. Go out the emblem gate, stealth kill the first guy, deal with the second, juke the lady into falling into the bear trap for an insta-kill melee prompt. Collect everything before Dr. Salvador. Get as close as you can to him with the Sniper Rifle, aim at his head. The moment you see him start the chainsaw, shoot him. This should stagger him and you can melee him into the explosive line. Alternatively, shoot him and run past him. He'll blow himself up. You may or may not finish him if you want his gem. Get inside the house bathroom and you should get a knife prompt to insta-kill the guy in the toilet. Juke him around with the dinner table and complete the Chapter. These changes could either end up saving you some time (1 to 2 min, tops) or lose you some time (1 to 3 min, tops). Either way, you should end up with more ammo and some extra healing sprays. If you are extremely confident of yourself, you could potentially switch out the Chicken Hat for either the Deer Antlers or the Wolf Tail. Fantastic guide overall my friend.
Hey bro! for your first points I did similarly, I entered the cabin before the village's gate and theres a way to do so, look at the floor, for some reason would make you either faster on close evasion, or would keep the villager to throw an attack, then you run pass him, circle fast around the room, and go out, worked for me 4 out of 5, of course I wouldnt call it something a rookie would easily do, but it helps. I dont share one of your points tho I feel like running out of bullets completely on purpose on the first horde, would be kind of problematic (they mostly just dropped me pesetas) I could stay at the top and kill everyone without falling, using bullets, but as soon as Salvador was climbing, a grenade, this kills everyone right underneath you, and take him off the ladder, so you have your options open too mmm but anyway thats very subjective on each playstyle, I have my own gameplay changes through the walkthrough (which is amazing ) tbh is very interesting how everyone manages a way to cut through with different tactics.

With this as my general guide, I (after much frustration of frequent reloading from the main menu) finally got Leon's Cat Ears today, following months of taking a hiatus from playing the game and then playing (and replaying) the Separate Ways DLC in recent weeks. A good tip for people fighting the el gigante's: When the parasite is out and vulnerable to attack, use a flash grenade, not only does it stagger the giant but it also REALLY HURTS THE PARASITE!!! I found that using every L resource to make flash grenades before the first giant fight was immensely helpful!!!

Much appreciated that you took your time with the guide, video editing for it. It does really help out a lot of new players like me, other people who are not a pro or really experience with RE games. I didn't really play the OG RE4 so beating it on Hardcore mode on my first playthrough was definitely tuff. Plan to use this when I do a new game on professional mode to unlock all the other Accessories I need.

I got my S+ last night and it was SO SATISFYING. Used your first walkthrough plus some good skips (wrecking ball, mendez save skip, etc) and i’m sure you have those in THIS ONE. Thanks again. Also the easiest way to get the chicago infinite for me was to skip the dog and wait till chapter 9. If you can make it through the water room, you’ll get infinite after ashley’s part. The rest was easy. Still used a rocket for Krauser. Thanks again, Neon.
Sounds like you got some good strategies that help you survive till chapter 9. Personally, I'm the type of guy that try to get all the Spinals I can, even at great personal risk, cause the Infinite Chicago Typewriter is just plain worth it. There's just something so satisfying about looking in a room filled with enemy zealots on the hardest difficulty and screaming, "EVERYONE DIES!!!"
Not a damn chance am I doing the water room without the Infinite Sweeper, carried me completely. The dog is honestly very easy if you clear some of the village out before you go up to the mayors house(stealth etc). Then you can just ladder up to the roof and the dog can't touch you

For the village fight at the beginning its honestly really worth going into the last hut with the ganado in just before the village gate to grab the flash bang. You can use it to flash bang the enemies and dr salvador at the bottom of the ladder to make your escape.
You don't need to do that at all it's far easier than this video shows. Do everything the same up to the point of going to the bell tower. However instead of wasting that grenade early like Neon Slice does. Just keep killing enemies with your pistol and chicago until salvador comes downstairs. Throw a grenade and it's over the bell should ring if not it's down to 1 or 2 kills. You never have to leave the tower if you just don't waste the grenade early and attempt to maximize grenade kills.

I completed my Pro S+ run today. All thanks to you're tips it really helped. Wouldn't be possible without infinite Chicago Sweeper. My complete time was 5 hrs 32 min. Now I'm going for "Hand Cannon" run with the help of Cat Ear.

My last save was the at middle of chapter 15 and in chapter 16 I shot the RPG at the final boss but miss😢 Reload, rushed and everything went well until I fucked up the escape sequence😢 Eventually I made it on 5:23:40 total playtime😂
Unfortunately Im in chapter 5 and lost 6 saves 🙂cause i knew i would die to giant dog 🤣now I messed up with my saves even not done with the Cabin yet

As nice as the positive vibes are i’ve made 38 attempts at Professional mode now and *cannot escape the Village in the very beginning* despite following this guide to a T so i’m convinced either this shit is *impossible* without infinite ammo guns or despite the reassurance, i do not have the ability to make it through this and won’t see the Handcannon or the Cat Ears till they release the DLC that unlocks everything that you can pay for lol.

@@Swaggaccino did that last night when the update for Mercenaries dropped. Lol. I’ve tried both methods, I don’t know what to do at this point. I’ve tried using Neon’s method of doing the Sweeper and a Grenade at the top of the tower, i’ve tried getting the shotgun and camping the roof to get kills that way, i’ve tried grabbing the flash in the cabin before the Village (to no avail, dude in there cockblocks me every time), i’ve tried just running around the outside edge of the village and just surviving, every strat that’s available on UA-cam that you’ve probably heard of i’ve tried at this point, it’s like this game just does not want me to get a fresh Professional Difficulty clear. At all.

There is a difference between getting S+ rank and doing an actual speed run, you can take your time on some parts and mess up a bit during a S+ run it’s fine
I can confirm you have to be an average gamer to easily platinum this game. Your S+ runs can be FAR from perfect, and you can still easily get S+. Just get the armor and Chicago and make it to the castle. That’s all there is to it. Other than that, literally NOTHING is required (like getting treasures and stuff). Just keep moving on to the next area, and before you know it, you’ll be on the jetski.
And obviously you must know what comes next in the game in order to save time, but you will probably have a good sense of the routes if you are on a platinum hunt and have had 2 runs before.

@@NeonSlice Yeah i took some pointers from it for my Hardcore run and finished the game 5hours dead. Took me a bit longer because i didn't have Armor Ashley or the sweeper so some combat stuff needed more time, but it was a huge relief to have that so i knew i was on track.

If you complete game on assisted sell everything before final boss buy single shot rocket launcher and as many health sprays (also sell gun then re buy cheapest to kil hunter at start of game )as possible use rocket launcher to one shot boss then ng+ professional go to merchant after jumping out of window sell health sprays and gun buy inf rocket launcher (Ashley and boat part will still be harder)
@@eagle3290 if your going for S+ you can't do anything you just mentioned. Have to start on New game. If you are trying to unlock the CT and forego the S+ then you would just do exactly what you did.

After getting clapped by Mendez on my first Pro run, I decided to study a bit of his moveset and have two tips to give for anyone that might be struggling.
First, use the i-frames of jumping off the second floor to your advantage. Sit up there as long as possible.
The second has to do with everyone's favourite attack, the flaming planks. This attack has two variations:
1) He lifts one plank in front of him. In this one, you ideally want to be sitting fully left or fully right. If you are, just sprint to the opposite direction and don't stop. If you aren't, you won't have enough room to avoid both attacks. In that case, sprint to one direction first and after you dodge the first plank, immediately flip to the opposite direction.
2) He lifts both planks in front of him. He's going to throw both at the same time. This attack is a bait, all you have to do is stand completely still.
I've found that the easiest way to consistently dodge the flaming wood is to crouch and strafe towards the direction that he's throwing from, he'll miss 100% of the time unless you did it wrong

I just got S+ rank today and wanted to say thank you for this video. This was the first S+ Professional guide I ever saw and it made me believe that it was possible for me to actually achieve it. Parts of it were also helpful even in just beating professional for the first time. Again thank you, you were a great help.
For those who have the deluxe edition and don't want to face the mutt, there is a guaranteed spinel in the hanging treasure outside the belle sisters house. If you find just one random spinel prior to castle that will give you enough as long as you do the medallions at the castle gate.
This is what I did and it still allowed me to have infinite amo before the water room
I believe the one above the Bridge in Valley is a guaranteed spinel as well. Meaning that if can land a high pressure shot in the middle of that Hellscape, you get both of those, you can skip the dog entirely, no matter what, and get the exclusive in Audience Chamber after the Outer Walls Medallions sheering off somewhere near 5 Minutes from the overall time, and saving a SHIT LOAD of bullets. Theoretically. How delightfully pay-to-win.
@@JRook-00 if you're talking ab the bridge after the church, you could get it after El giante fight when no one is there
@@MEXICANASSASSIN2 No, above the bridge in Valley, right next to where you get the Hexagon Key with the bird "puzzle". Right after you get your gear back from the factory.
EDIT: Directly above and to the left of where he is at 18:23. You might be able to hit it from the platform where you go up the ladder to get in before engaging, but it would require either the Rifle or starter handgun for lowest possible spread. I'll give it a try in the next couple days, and come back with my results.
@@MEXICANASSASSIN2 Confirmed: The Expanded Map Treasure above him at 18:23 IS always a spinel. So between that one and the one in the Checkpoint, you can have 25 before the castle without ever fighting the dog, and 30 from the Medallions at the gate. The god is no longer necessary.

Just a tip for other players: If you do have spare cash left over after getting what the guide recommends and you haven't got a ton of heals, the merchant sells a first aid spray for 10k in each chapter. Could be all the difference!

Just wanted to say thanks for your guide! I just got S+ in Hardcore by mostly following it. I took a few liberties (and waaay more damage lol) and finished around 5:15. I finished the Village in just under 2 hours, and made it to the Island at just over 4. I think as long as you get to the island by 4 hours, you're golden.
I don't usually comment on stuff like this, but I just really wanted to say thank you for this guide, it was the last trophy I needed to platinum the game and I don't think I could have done it without this guide, thank you so much!

Useful thing I noticed about the Del Lago fight in my run, follow where it goes to avoid the stuff in the water. If Del Lago goes either left or right of an object then follow it. I noticed this I never got hit by that stuff it helped a lot. Annoyingly there will be times where it’s a bit difficult to tell which side it went but try your best to pay attention to it’s tail fin or the waves it leaves behind to help. Hope this helps someone.
Thank you so much man , before i went for S+ on professional i completed all other trophies so i could have a good idea about what to expect , played through the original and the remake countless times & knew i could do it without watching but i said why not and i found this video . i only had 2 trophies left to platinum this one & that was professional S+ and Normal S+ i honestly thought i was gonna have to redo the game on normal s+ but they gave me all three trophies , deer antlers , cat ears, chicken head , & raccoon tail all because i followed your guide , you really were thorough & left enough space to switch gamestyles to my liking without ever feeling rushed or having to do Glitches . I came here to send my thanks to you, I'm Brazilian, so at times because I don't know English I did some silly things, but following your guide I managed to finish in 5:03:40, it was very extresante, but when I completed it, it was very liberating, very thanks for making these guide and helping everyone who loves re4! I had to do the whole island 3x because I couldn't save the game anymore, I died a total of 5x, one of them on the jet-ski, I almost gave up, I have comments on that same video saying that, but thanks to the messages they sent me I got up the courage and managed to complete the game.
This guide was essential for making it through the village portion! Thank you! I ended up using a couple extra saves in the first 6 chapters, before getting the typewriter. After that I just skipped a few saves in the castle. Anyway, thanks again for making this!
21:16 you can shoot the plank on the well to your left to get the treasure above it. If you do it from the distance (same place you shot the first treasure) you will not trigger the chainsaw and can proceed as per guide. Make sure you are not getting any closer or the shot will trigger the chainsaw. I hope it helps. Great guide!

A couple of small things I do for the first village rush part that I do: you can run up and stealth kill enemies before they turn around. You don't have to crouch. I also running slash boxes with the knife. After climbing the tower I save my grenades until chainsaw man shows up since he's too hard to shoot off the ladder. That way when I jump down ( or fall down) I don't get swarmed.
Just beat this last night with a time of 4:16:44. Update, I did it. Final time 5h02.
I got stuck on so many parts. First the Bella Sisters in chapter 6 took me 2hours to pass. I almost gave up.
Next hurdle was the 2 gannadors in chapter 10 before the throne room.
Final one was the duo El Gigante in the mines. For some reasons, I had to use so much heals for them even though they're not that hard.

I would recommend some small changes to Chapters 1 and 2.
If you have the Deluxe Edition, bring the Skull Shaker along.
You can reliably juke out the villager from the cabin just before the Village gate. At this point you can try and retry to get a perfect parry on him if necessary. You only want the flashbang. It will be useful for Chapter 2.
The Skull Shaker will allow you to push out Dr. Salvador from the tower ladder. Drop the grenade only when your Sweeper and Shaker are out of ammo (as in needing to reload, the Sweeper takes ages). You should be able to get roughly some 12 kills this way. If you luck out, you can finish the village sequence right there.
You can burn a little bit more time in the farm after killing both villagers. If you go for the treasure route, you can get a Flagon that will allow you to buy an extra Healing Spray in Chapter 2.
AFAIK, the enemy reinforcements only spawn AFTER the cow head barges through the door, so you can go upstairs and kill the pitchfork lady and get some extra ammo (I recommend doing this IF you finish the Village sequence early, otherwise, skip it).
For Chapter 2, kill the rats along the way to save a little bit of time. Buy the Case upgrade and sell the Flagon if you got it or, alternatively, save it for later.
For the lady on the way to the emblem, shoot her feet. If you get it right, she'll fall down for an immediate knife kill. Otherwise, aim for headshots and get BEHIND her to get the insta-kill knife prompt. Equip the Kitchen knife for this.
Use the shotgun and clear a path to the RIGHT of the main arena. You'll need to shotgun or sweep anywhere between one to three villagers. Get the emblem and make a run for the crank.
Blow up the red barrel near the crank. After that, throw the flashbang you got from Chapter 1. Should give you enough time to crank safely. If you are feeling frisky, drop down to ground level and jump into the cabin that's below the crank for a Healing Spray. Keep in mind the door has a lock that you have to knife and there may be enemies outside.
Get back to the merchant, store the Sweeper and buy the Sniper Rifle. Go out the emblem gate, stealth kill the first guy, deal with the second, juke the lady into falling into the bear trap for an insta-kill melee prompt. Collect everything before Dr. Salvador.
Get as close as you can to him with the Sniper Rifle, aim at his head. The moment you see him start the chainsaw, shoot him. This should stagger him and you can melee him into the explosive line. Alternatively, shoot him and run past him. He'll blow himself up. You may or may not finish him if you want his gem. Get inside the house bathroom and you should get a knife prompt to insta-kill the guy in the toilet. Juke him around with the dinner table and complete the Chapter.
These changes could either end up saving you some time (1 to 2 min, tops) or lose you some time (1 to 3 min, tops). Either way, you should end up with more ammo and some extra healing sprays.
If you are extremely confident of yourself, you could potentially switch out the Chicken Hat for either the Deer Antlers or the Wolf Tail.

Hey bro! for your first points I did similarly, I entered the cabin before the village's gate and theres a way to do so, look at the floor, for some reason would make you either faster on close evasion, or would keep the villager to throw an attack, then you run pass him, circle fast around the room, and go out, worked for me 4 out of 5, of course I wouldnt call it something a rookie would easily do, but it helps.
I dont share one of your points tho I feel like running out of bullets completely on purpose on the first horde, would be kind of problematic (they mostly just dropped me pesetas) I could stay at the top and kill everyone without falling, using bullets, but as soon as Salvador was climbing, a grenade, this kills everyone right underneath you, and take him off the ladder, so you have your options open too mmm but anyway thats very subjective on each playstyle, I have my own gameplay changes through the walkthrough (which is amazing ) tbh is very interesting how everyone manages a way to cut through with different tactics.
I think part of what makes this walkthrough great is Neon's calm, yet soothing voice.

A good tip for people fighting the el gigante's: When the parasite is out and vulnerable to attack, use a flash grenade, not only does it stagger the giant but it also REALLY HURTS THE PARASITE!!! I found that using every L resource to make flash grenades before the first giant fight was immensely helpful!!!

I got my S+ last night and it was SO SATISFYING. Used your first walkthrough plus some good skips (wrecking ball, mendez save skip, etc) and i’m sure you have those in THIS ONE. Thanks again. Also the easiest way to get the chicago infinite for me was to skip the dog and wait till chapter 9. If you can make it through the water room, you’ll get infinite after ashley’s part. The rest was easy. Still used a rocket for Krauser. Thanks again, Neon.
Sounds like you got some good strategies that help you survive till chapter 9. Personally, I'm the type of guy that try to get all the Spinals I can, even at great personal risk, cause the Infinite Chicago Typewriter is just plain worth it.
There's just something so satisfying about looking in a room filled with enemy zealots on the hardest difficulty and screaming, "EVERYONE DIES!!!"
Not a damn chance am I doing the water room without the Infinite Sweeper, carried me completely. The dog is honestly very easy if you clear some of the village out before you go up to the mayors house(stealth etc). Then you can just ladder up to the roof and the dog can't touch you

For the village fight at the beginning its honestly really worth going into the last hut with the ganado in just before the village gate to grab the flash bang. You can use it to flash bang the enemies and dr salvador at the bottom of the ladder to make your escape.
Yeah thats exactly what i did too
You don't need to do that at all it's far easier than this video shows. Do everything the same up to the point of going to the bell tower. However instead of wasting that grenade early like Neon Slice does. Just keep killing enemies with your pistol and chicago until salvador comes downstairs. Throw a grenade and it's over the bell should ring if not it's down to 1 or 2 kills. You never have to leave the tower if you just don't waste the grenade early and attempt to maximize grenade kills.
Also when shooting climbing ganados focus your first pistol shot whehn you can. This will make most of them fall in 2 shots instead of 3.

I completed my Pro S+ run today. All thanks to you're tips it really helped. Wouldn't be possible without infinite Chicago Sweeper. My complete time was 5 hrs 32 min. Now I'm going for "Hand Cannon" run with the help of Cat Ear.

For me namely, I finished the platinum 2 days ago and it really meant a lot to me because RE4 Remake became my favourite game of all time ever since my first playthrough. So doing these challenges is a way of satisfaction and kind of a way to feel proud about myself. So to respond to your answer, I believe people care about it and wouldn't even pay for the achievements if they were true gamers because what is the point of buying a game as a gamer if you are gonna give it to some to unlock everything for you. Might as well gift them the game
