Spotify announced a new multiyear partnership deal with podcaster Joe Rogan. His hit podcast will no longer be exclusive to the audio app and instead now be distributed to a variety of platforms, the streamer announced Friday. Basically Spotify pay Joe on contract then license his show out to all the platforms. I would say that Spotify probably gain the episodes as a catalogue which they will take a cut from for the next "x" amount of years
@@AutoChimp This was planned before they signed with JR. There isn't a business still in business that would give away 80 million and not have a plan to get it back + some.
You noticed how he talked about how he would use references to explain stuff to different people and then procedes to use bears as an example of the topic of humans recording new stuff with their phones to Joe, the bear lover. Neil you are truly great
I just realized how Joe literally gives us/avid listeners his whole undisclosed transparency into who he really is. He doesn’t do sit downs with experts on things that mainstream people would pay to listen to. He literally sits down with experts on things HE loves that HE would pay for but instead gets paid for it. He has to be the most skeptical and highly open minded person outside of the studio lmao
In the end, after Neil asked, "Do people will watch 5 hours of that?" and then Joe said, "People do other stuff while listening " but I watched the whole without really doing other stuff, it was so interesting.
Not really what happened. May want to watch again. Tyson, likes to draw conclusions where convenient for 'popularity'. He knows how scientific method works, but chooses to ignore/rearrange, for certain topics. Fine if his intellectual curiosity stops at a point (as he alludes), but he does actually draw conclusions(end answer), that are not founded, on any concrete evidence. It's pretty much him saying, 'I don't understand it, so it has no value and is wrong". He dismisses possibilities both explainable or otherwise, for convenience. Hubris is often abundant. He is a Hypocrite, and he knows it.. he also knows most don't catch it.. so it's ok in his mind. Keeps him popular and relevant... for most. I do like him mostly,.. other than these major scientific flaws he creates and/or skirts around.

There needs to he more talk of how to make education better for young people. Its so much more important than we think.
Professor Neil Degrasse Tyson is my role model.😊
19 missed calls from Terrence Howard
I don't understand most of what he speaks on but I can't stop listening ...I find him absolutely fascinating!!!
the photosynthsizing aliens would b a great movie
Niel is such a gem, i always find myself contemplating after his talks and think more deeply about the world and the universe
0:21 oh yeah (very deep voice) 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cool aid man

🎉
We need a new episode with Terrence, Howard and Neil deGrasse Tyson
Peak podcasting lol
Neil would make mince meat of Terrence.
I watched the whole 3hrs on my amazon route. Thanks for the conversation!
I watched this at my Amazon shift for Amazon warehouse lol only thing that can get me thru!
Damn man. I initially thought this was a new one. I was so excited. I will rewatch this anyway and love it. Every time.
36:43 Let me finish that example for you Neil. "After running these experiments and finding no evidence of bears outside the cave, the man enters the cave... and gets eaten by the bear that has been using a different entrance to the cave you were not aware of".
These must be magic bears who are teleporting into the cave, that's what you're saying
Man did u miss the point😂😂😂
Did you double check the sensors? are they calibrated to detect bears? Do you have different types of sensors watching the entrance?
The irony here that you're still waiting outside the cave for the bear your KNOW is inside despite all evidence to the contrary, if a alien ate neil then you'd have a point lmao
homeboy,,, you trippy az hell ngl
*Here us humans are trying to understand aliens, and we barely understand ourselves.*
Church!
Joe is dropping banger after banger don't know how this has 3.6k views after 4 days tho
Bro i was barely catching up before the drop now I can't even catch up so I think that's why it's getting low views there's so many so far Snoops is classic funny like a mini concert with a podcast mixed in 😂
Haven’t listened often to Joe Rogan often but this was enjoyable
I got an ad with Joe Rogan while watching Joe Rogan 😂
Theres lots of joe rogan advertising on spotify while watching his podcast
Am I sitting here playing Minecraft at 1 am listening to this...yes
I'm a C/O watching Joe rogan all night because there's nothing else to do.
How does this only have 3k views?? It's been out for 4 days I'm so confused
This didn't show up in my recommendations until just now.
Terrence & Eric podcast still need to happen... The truth is out there!
@@tidy4445that’s already out. Some reason this video doesn’t even show on joes videos It popped up for me after watching the last pod Joe had Terrance and Eric. Weird
Bro, Im extra confused
its an old podcast from 2021 Neil is much grayer now. I think they just unprivated the video on the channel as this was during the spotify days.
That Pinocchio sequence went right over Joes head 😂
Your perception is skewed. Joe understood it fine and poked obvious holes in it. Joe understood what Neil was trying to do, and proceeded to informed Neil of the holes in the analogy.
Neils analogy was not tight at all.
Any thinker knows that time, is always a part of any equation.
Reaction from a preceding action is elementary.
He got it at the end.
@@paulkaz2127time is part of every equation? What time is it on the South Pole?
hated sitting in school but i could sit and stare at Dr. tyson for hrs
Joe Rogan has upped his podcast/interview game tremendously over the years
The weird thing is I saw it on my fyp but when I go to JRE the video is NOT there.
Also seeing the abysmal viewer numbers there is something wrong
It's a re upload...
It’s unlisted
I wish my High School teachers where as entertaining as Sir Neil deGrasse Tyson...I might have stuck it out...
We all need Neill back to diss Howard 😂
Context please
Even if this IS an old JRE, and there isnt any original date on here, I'm just happy and fortunate JRE is BACK on YT...period!
Thanks Joe, Jamie, guests, and YT 🙏🏻☮️

Who's gonna listen? Me ! And others ! Always a pleasure
Him, Terrence, Eric and Michio kaku in one room, Joe. Make it happen, we know you can.
That would never happen. May I ask why you think that would be a good episode?
@@jimmyintuitive May I ask why you think "that would never happen"
@@frankicon9521 I still dont understand why people keep looking down on TH. Im starting to think. You hate to see someone who potentially is richer, smarter , and more open minded than you haters. If this is how you react when people are not perfect you dont deserve to have kids acting like a bitter hater.
@@frankicon9521 you asked me a question after I asked you a question. How childish is that
@@frankicon9521 btw it would never happen for so many reasons. It's simply not necessary. Also it would only attract people that want to see geeks arrogantly speak on the unknowns while acting like other don't know shit is not the vibe Joe is looking for.
JRE's audience really showing their collective IQ by immediately subscribing to conspiracies instead of understanding that these videos were just unprivated after they were hidden because of Spotify exclusivity.
Looks like Spotify deal is over
Spotify announced a new multiyear partnership deal with podcaster Joe Rogan. His hit podcast will no longer be exclusive to the audio app and instead now be distributed to a variety of platforms, the streamer announced Friday.
Basically Spotify pay Joe on contract then license his show out to all the platforms.
I would say that Spotify probably gain the episodes as a catalogue which they will take a cut from for the next "x" amount of years
@@AutoChimp
This was planned before they signed with JR.
There isn't a business still in business that would give away 80 million and not have a plan to get it back + some.

I couldn’t watch or listen to jre podcast on spotify cuz I live in Iraq and it’s not available here so thanks for making it reachable on youtube
@2:12 freshly stoned. @2:54:42 ready for the next joint.
Dudeeee when he was looking at the ceiling in the begining you could tell he is high as fuck xD lmao
3:01:00 who else was sitting there for 3 hr?
I’m here because Neil is the man.
Wtf how i missed this episode!?!?
Very entertaining podcast. I was glued the whole time
Am I the only one that thinks the world is keeping Neil out of the loop?
No one humbles Joe Rogan like Neil does
If I met Neil and told him my name, he’d disagree with me
who is here on 16.12.2024 xD aliensss
Me I need answers
Hey Neill I watched the whole thing while working today and you have blown my mind like always thanks joe for all you be best podcast in the world
You noticed how he talked about how he would use references to explain stuff to different people and then procedes to use bears as an example of the topic of humans recording new stuff with their phones to Joe, the bear lover.
Anyways i will watch it one more time
In the end, after Neil asked, "Do people will watch 5 hours of that?" and then Joe said, "People do other stuff while listening " but I watched the whole without really doing other stuff, it was so interesting.
@filoue2583 I watched it as a movie, with popcorn and that kind stuff...
He's putting a bunch of old episodes on UA-cam
Neil is one few people who will correct conspiracy nonsense with respect. I wish he could be present in all of Jo's podcasts
Love to see Neil podcasting! And bringing real wisdom to the table.
WE WANT MORE OF MR. TYSON PLEASE MR ROGAN. WE KNOW ABOUT HIS CHANNEL BUT YOU WITH HIM ARE TALKING ABOUT WHAT WE ARE THINKING OF
Joe is so random
WTF?!?!?! NOT COOL to dump all of this into my feed at once!!
I have no earthly idea why these episodes are filling my UA-cam neither did I know Joe Rogan interviews this much and so many people
That was an EXCELLENT podcast with Neil, I watched it all the way through, again EXCELLENT! Thanks Joe, very informative.
I loved transformers.
It’s still missing from the list. It’s the government!
But does Neil know what a woman is
Beat me to it
He does.
That's why he built a hugging machine.
He's been married to one for 36 years so I'd wager all too well
U need to watch the key and Peele sketch about Neil and his wife lol
