He's not being a jerk because he might chuckle at what someone else says. Then explains his side of the facts. Or is it when he's not talking amongst friends like Joe? I then think of him simply trying to prove his point. If he's ever argumentative. Which I don't see much of, I believe that's his passion showing through. Anyone that openly and willingly gives purposeful knowledge at this level. I see them as brilliant and I'm so happy he's sharing such a passion of knowledge with us. Think if he never spoke in public. How many of us wouldn't ever know any of his knowledge. I think he's very kind, if he comes across as a bit of a smart azz. It's because he is. Lol

I hate putting this idea in your head, it’s a good idea and you strike me as the type that can’t ignore a good idea lol. That being said, is there a chance you could sort the LOOONG form interviews into playlists based on the interviewee’s profession? “Science”, “comedians”, “UFC/MMA”, etc? Personally I would melt into the science playlist until my brain liquified or until I finished them. Lol. Regardless, thanks for your AMAZING work Jamie, you stay a million steps ahead of the interview even though they aren’t scripted. You are quite the intuitive gentleman. And thank you as well Joe. Geocentrism, the age of the earth, man being created instead of evolving - at what point will science make religion completely irrelevant? The "god" of today is one that exists in the gaps of our understanding, aka the god of the gaps. Just because we don't understand something does not give the god explanation a pass. My point is, religion will answer less and less for people until it is eventually irrelevant. Worship yourself and this reality, it is all there is, and make the most of it, now.

Spotify announced a new multiyear partnership deal with podcaster Joe Rogan. His hit podcast will no longer be exclusive to the audio app and instead now be distributed to a variety of platforms, the streamer announced Friday.
Basically Spotify pay Joe on contract then license his show out to all the platforms.
I would say that Spotify probably gain the episodes as a catalogue which they will take a cut from for the next "x" amount of years

Not really what happened. May want to watch again. Tyson, likes to draw conclusions where convenient for 'popularity'. He knows how scientific method works, but chooses to ignore/rearrange, for certain topics.
Fine if his intellectual curiosity stops at a point (as he alludes), but he does actually draw conclusions(end answer), that are not founded, on any concrete evidence.
It's pretty much him saying, 'I don't understand it, so it has no value and is wrong".
He dismisses possibilities both explainable or otherwise, for convenience. Hubris is often abundant.
He is a Hypocrite, and he knows it.. he also knows most don't catch it.. so it's ok in his mind. Keeps him popular and relevant... for most. I do like him mostly,.. other than these major scientific flaws he creates and/or skirts around.
