It’s time to bring in a child psychologist who should explain that when a child starts to learn a different language other than his or her mother tongue, it is a deficit in his language development. The language develops in infancy and solidifies in the formative years. After that he/she can learn as many languages as he can. Just like our ancestors learned Arabic, Farsi and many languages of the sub-continent, our children can learn English too. Like it or not, English is becoming dominant all over the world. Those are other issues.
