As a Phillies fan, I watched him hit that walkoff live and thought it was incredible, even though I was rooting for the Mariners. Little did I know what would happen a few weeks later…
@@drypho142rightttttt, luck is the reason that you scored a combined 4 runs in the last 3 games of the series and got no hit in game 4, stay mad lil bro
I don’t think it would have mattered. Thomson only made the move because Alvarez does worse against lefty pitchers. With Wheeler being right handed and Alvarez being clutch, the outcome would have likely been the same.

Yeah. As an Astros fan I'm inclined to say 3 of the Alvarez homers, but going oppo against a 100 mph degrom fastball is probably one of the hardest things to do in baseball.
Man really made this video in chronological order. For example you see Teoscar's homer to make it 3-0 while rays guardians is in the 14th then switched to Gonzalez's homer to walk off.

It was more like letting out the frustration of what the franchise and the fan base had to deal with for the last few seasons. They weren’t going to be pushed around.
Dude Harrison Bader was on such a tear for the Yankees, shame no one else could do anything
Well they did…….. cleaned out their lockers shut off the lights, and went home.

That last one was just obliterated
Every Yordan homer is obliterated
I agree
Not only that, but the radio broadcasters go absolutely nuts.
It def was but schwarbers 488 was a monster shot
that might’ve been the hardest hit ball of the postseason
We definitely knew any chance the Mariners had at pulling a series upset was over after that Alvarez walkoff HR.
