I had anxiety watching this. I can't imagine trying to play it. Well done, My Dude! I had never heard of this game before now and now I can't get enough of you playing it!
One way to deal with Sappers that you could have used here is the Ceiling Lasers, they don't lose charges like the Brimstone does, and you can swap to the fire upgrade and put them close to the entrances to pop Sappers really easily, could have probably used it in place of bringing the flowers. Just need to stagger the lasers a bit so they cover a full line properly since you don't have the extra lasers upgrade. Just a nice low-stress way to deal with them easily.
For those struggling as much as I did I recommend making the Brimstone do Arcane damage, and to replace the flower with Ceiling Lasers that do Fire damage. The trick to stop the Sappers is to stagger out 3 of the lasers in the only parts of the level you can do that (the immediate right turn after the second door, and the left Hallway when facing away from the rift. Just do it a couple rounds in. And if you suck at speed building like me just start setting up the barricades like Pally did except from left to right and before the round starts. You don't really need Brimstone for the first wave, just the second and every wave onward.
Amazingly fun strategy, so chaotic i effing love it. The flowers were useful as backup in case an armored ogre got through, however for next round I tried Arrow Walls all around the killing area with pierce damage, seemed to work well as probably many other wall traps would.
despite what the steam reviews say, the loadouts can be different. great to see pallys approach to the levels. i easy peasy did this level with acid fountain, floorscorchers, icedarts, arcane brimstone, electric lasers, arrow walls, no barricades, spreadout mini killboxes in corners/doors and scepter of domination. enemies died mostly at the entrance doors. highest difficulty
Pally I have watched your content for years now and, other than dark souls, I click on the Orcs Must Die videos the fastest out of all your videos. And also Rogue Legacy tho, and :P
Hey Pally, have you tried Dungeon Defenders 1 before? It's another really fun tower defense game, but unfortunately the original is really old and you'd need to have friends if you didn't wanna go through it solo. They did a remake of it recently, but I don't know much about that.
If there was a VR game called BJ Blast, and the controller was a 12 inch cylinder shaped object covered in 80 grit sandpaper, and you had to shove said controller in and out of your mouth rapidly for ten minutes straight for 100 levels...that game would be easier and more enjoyable to complete than this freaking level.
im in the opposite camp, i enjoy the combat less than the traps, mostly because it feels like "you should be able to beat it with traps, but if you cant figure it out, i guess just kill them yourself". making it seem like failing when i play. always gotta puzzle out the way traps can do it :P.

I'm enjoying this series. Keep up the good work!
You can add the par timer to the UI in the gameplay options! Would be great to see you racing against the clock!
Was looking though my suggested videos and came upon your first look of orca must die 2
I love watching these videos at work
Bro i played Orcs Must die unchained with friends back in the day.... Didnt see there was a 3.. Cant wait to DL this. Its alot of fun
Great videos man keep up the good work!
MFPT, I just love seeing you have fun. Whatever the game.
loving this series, cant wait to keep seeing more.
I think you should try doing some more levels without the patented pally kill box style.
Anyone else notice around 14:20 that with a matching arcane dragon, they stop bouncing? Do they need to be staggered so both sides will bounce again?

I think pally likes the barrels
Appreciate you Pally :)

Pally could you do the weekly challenges as well?

Love this series pally. Keep up the good work.
I’d love to see you play Noita, it seems like a game you’d really enjoy.
Well that was beautiful. But freaking clutch. But beautiful :D
WHOOOOT more more more more!
awesome
Gnolls don't count toward Rift Points if they go through on any mode as far as I've seen
4 second hype!!!! Mfptbuff
Gnolls never count for rift points you can just stand behind the rift and they go straight in
I believe it’s also the same for sappers but I’m not sure
I wish my pc didnt die so I could play this. At this rate I'll probably never get it resurrected >.

update - wow you totally overthought this level :P.
Nice
I'm glad I won't have to start at this difficulty level...
Can you number the episode so i dont miss any ? :D
OMD! :D
For algorithm!
Would be happier to you playing it hard blank, your tipps don`t help me if i don`t have any of the traps, nor weapons ;)
Well, this is a guide to go through on the hardest difficulty.
