- Today on Booze On The Rocks, we make the Pirate Punch cocktail. This large cocktail contains three spirits and two liqueurs. It's fruity, intense, easy to drink and attractive. The dark rum float gives an immediate kick, followed by citrus notes. Try it out, and let me know what you think.

PIRATE PUNCH
1 oz/30 ml White Rum
1 oz/30 ml Dark Rum
1 oz/30 ml Coconut Rum
1 oz/30 ml Triple Sec
1 oz/30 ml Creme de Banane
1.5 oz/45 ml Orange Juice
1.5 oz/45 ml Pineapple Juice
.3 oz/10 ml Grenadine
Method
1, Add all of the ingredients to a glass filled with ice except the grenadine and dark rum.
2. Stir contents.
3. Pour in the splash of grenadine.
4. Float the dark rum on top.

@@boozeontherocks Hi David, I made this at 4.15 pm, now 4.55 and still not finished. I didn’t shake it but stirred in glass. I used the stronger Aluna coconut rum PF Dry Curaçao for the Triple Sec, Giffards Banana liqueur and Goslings for the dark rum finish. Your proportions throughout. WOW!!! It punches! Struggling to keep my head straight and fortunately the ice is now adding some dilution.
Fortunately, my meal with wine will be 6.30ish and I will sleep well tonight.

Is it still nice if I replace rum with vodka
If all you are doing is replacing the white rum with Vodka it will work. If you are replacing the dark rum as well, you will need to increase the amount of juice.
Hi David! The punch is missing the sour part - isn't it too sweet?
Yes. It does not fall into a traditional style punch. However. You could add some lime juice to it no problem and it will work really well.
