I was walking through the pits at Historics in Monterey this last august and came upon the GMA tent. Low and behold Gordon Murray himself standing 5 feet away from me, casually speaking to fans of the brand and of his. The only time I’ve ever been starstruck in my life and regret not taking my chance to thank him for his contribution to the automotive world. Nevertheless, was very cool to be in the presence of the greatest automotive designer of all time
Just ordered this one at three times the price. Assuming retail was $12-15.00. Not sure how this one got by me. The weathered version is up for preorder now.
11:32 the F1 GTR has a stick shifter but Mini GT like LCD and Kyosho chose to not mold it in the interior. I'm waiting on mine to pair it with the XP5 F1 from LCD models. It would make up for the same pair which was featured in the F1 GTR documentary in 1997.
Nice little project! I thought about the wheels swap as well but I don’t have the scale mini one which would cost me 4 or 5 times more if it’s available. Only one I could find is the Mach one livery and I wish MiniGT could do that too
I could have bet on you reviewing this one.. pretty sure you'll be on the regular F1 as well. I remember Inno 64 being among your favorite. Where are you finding stickers? On racing versions with lot of graphics or on the details of plain ones? I'm debated getting the R34 and R33 mine's but I won't if full of stickers..
Mini GT memang bagus 👍🏾👍🏾

That's awesome. Closest I got was eying an F1 and realized it was Jay Leno standing next to me since it was his car.

the Mini GT is easily the best 1/64 F1 GTR model out there, even with the swap wheels the Scale Mini doesn't look that accurate to the real car.

Bought this after seeing this video
My research showed that the actual car has a yoke instead of a steering wheel.

There wasn't any Mach one livery.
