Now there has to the world's top builders. Carpenters, sculptors, trade masons of all kinds.
Wait, I'm getting ahead of the schedule. As pointed out previously How many horses, mules and men with axes, sling blades and saws did it take to clear this massive amount of land and have it level dirt ready for the foundation work?
      Right.

When you look at the original photos you can tell these are not temporary buildings, walkways, retaining walls, man-made lakes, waterways, fountains, etc. The fact that they were all fully lit up at night with electricity sends the narrative to dust. Not built by our civilisation. Back then we neither had the money, the manpower, the motive or the materials or the skills. Even today after 'progress', the costs would be laughed at.
Look at old photos of your own town, to see how much destruction has happened recently, a building here,. a park there - it adds up over time.

    • @dergutehut3961
      @dergutehut3961 Рік тому +1

How can you tell they are not temporary buildings? You realize the whole goal was to not make them LOOK cheap while being cheap. So if you see something that looks like a legit building that just means they did a good job.
And if you actually LOOK at the statues you know for real who built it and when it was built. The style is typical for hte 19th century and many of the motives relate to the US or the world of the day and age. And the narrative says that they had to built a connection to a power plant specifically for that event..so we would defnitely expect them to use this extra electricity.
And the workers didn't had to be all experts in Carving...in fact nobody had to be...because they made the statues out of plaster or other cheap materials. I hate to break it to you but the same is the case if you go to a theme park. We can make things LOOK like stone or marble.
And it getseven more interesting if you look at the statues who depict things that again...would PERFECTLY fit the narrative like an US soldier in his uniform. All the motives of the statues as well as the building styles show that we don't look at some strange forgotten culture..but at things that come from our civlization(s).
Thats why we find a Japanese looking building next to an arab one next to a german one.

I'am not sure what part of my comment was insulting...but that wasn't my intention.
      -
And it not about trusting history books...its about NOT trusting people who have no evidence to back up its theories and who debunk theories of others by declaring things "impossible" or making claims about them having technological features that they can't demonstrate, or believe timelines that are not backed by a shred of evidence.
The difference is mudflooders on the internet claim whatever they want..and if they are getting pampered by their fellow muddies and not challenged.
If you come up with a batshit crazy idea in a mudflood comment section..you are not told to back it up or criticized you get compliments.. I understand why this is so attractive..but thats the opposite of peer review..and it has the opposite results.
      -
"there's nothing wacky or suspicious going on,"
There are LOADS of wacky suspicious and unexplainable things going on in history..but NOT any of the things that mud-flooders think is wacky or suspicious. Those are usually just easy to explain things that can be found out with an under 5 minutes google search. The problem is that the entire community WANT things to be mysterious...or wacky or not to make sense..because without those fake problems and false dilemmas they have no room for their theories. If I reject the fact that we can built puppets for movies. and do lots of practical effects, .than the entire films before the 90tie are a complete mystery. ..and I can come up with all kind of wacky explanations to solve that "mystery"...the problem with all that explanations is..we don'T need them in the first place..because we already have one.
And attacking an explanation by: The government told it...or historians (who in the world of conspiracy nuts of course all work for the gov) ...that is even weaker. NO historian would/could be so lazy. He needs to present ACTUAL evidence that has to survive a critical peer review where people will demand hard evidence for all your claims..and will be not okay with you just claiming "they couldn'T do it" or "doesn'T that look like" or "I don't believe it".
If you read actual historic books you notice the effort those people put in their work..and that is in NO way comparable with people making videos by commenting photos they found on the internet.
      -
So...again..we know what world fairs are...because they were documented in detail and we still have them and they make perfect sense for a time with many new inventions and easier travel.
WE also know how they built those marvelous buildings and we know they weren't there before..or at least there is not a shred of evidence for that.
Did you ever wonder why nobody documented them?
Why would a building of that scale be overlooked?
Why no-one would use them instead of tearing them down?
      Probably not.
And again..if this isn't your FIRST contact with 19th/20th century buildings..you WILL notice how perfectly matches the taste and tech of the time.
We also know that there was no other civlization that could have built them. America was occupied. First by the Natives later by the Settlers. And again..what we see is VERY clearly the work of people inspired by European architecture. So what makes more sense:
unknown hidden civilzation...or Americans..who were always heavily influenced by Europe?
So..I don't claim to know everything..but we DO know enough to rule out the theories presented here.

The point is that the opposite is the case. They were built to last for a short time which should perfectly explain why they hve been torn down. And the point is....we basically still do this. We STILL built temporary structrures...especially for expositions or world fairs. And it should be obvious why they tore it down...you coudn't built "real" palaces..and it would be MUCH to expensive just for an exposition. An exoposition means they had the money and personal to maintian those structures for a short time..but after that they would have quickly ruined everyone who owned them.

Yes...they have the same architecture style because they were all organized by either Europeans and Americans in the 19-20th century. And for that reason we mostly see architecture styles that were in fashion in Europe or America between the 19th - 20th century.
We see a lot classicism, and neo-barock and neo-gothic, and other historicism-styles who were all popular in that time, some exposition had "exotic" styles, and often we see different Pavilions that are country themed (a thing that we still do btw) ...the exact stuff we would expect from a big 19-20th century event and that matches other building projects. I'am not sure what else you would expect.
Also...those were big events that people took notice of...so obviously when the feedback for one exposition was positive..the others tried to top that,...often going in a similar direction.
I think it was somewhere in the 50ties when the first World fair used modernist buildings.
And yes...buidling that in 2 years is more than possible...because most buildings you see are just a few exposition halls with steel skeletons, and a lot of plaster and spray-paint put on to LOOK like palaces or temples. So why wouldn't they be able to do that in years..especially if the organizers hired every craftsmen they could get ahold of. Those were giant prestige projects with LOADS of money and ressources put into them.

I love you video I hope you don't mind I have been doing research on this particular topic and history points so as it is I'm a very curious person and I'm a very critical thinker .
I went to chat GPT and I asked it a couple of questions I'll post them below but the magnificence of this architecture takes experience architectural engineer workers
That's why this whole history to me seems like it was a very advanced civilization or it could have been the Phoenicians they do leave their mark around looking at the statues but that's just my opinion okay so here's what GPT says....
    This was my question;
Hypothetically speaking how many people would it take to build 1893 world's Fair in France how long would it take to clear and make the canals from the swamps how much manpower would be used how would they move the materials where would they get the materials from and the most important question why would they tear it down?
Building a world's fair similar to the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in France would be a massive undertaking, involving numerous logistical and engineering challenges. Here's a breakdown of what it would entail:
    ### Manpower and Timeline
    **1. Number of Workers:**
The 1893 Chicago World's Fair employed around 40,000 workers at its peak. Assuming a similar scale and technological capabilities for a fair in France, a comparable number of workers would likely be required.
    **2. Timeline:**
The Chicago fair took roughly three years from the beginning of planning to its opening. Clearing swamps and constructing canals would significantly impact this timeline. Historical projects like the construction of the Panama Canal, which involved similar swamp-clearing and canal-building efforts, took over a decade due to the technological limitations and health risks (e.g., malaria and yellow fever).
    ### Canal Construction
    **1. Clearing Swamps:**
Clearing swamps and creating canals would require large-scale excavation, drainage, and engineering efforts. Historical canal projects, such as the Erie Canal, took several years and thousands of workers. Modern machinery could reduce this time significantly, but in the late 19th century, it would take several years.
    **2. Manpower:**
It would involve thousands of laborers, engineers, and support staff. Historical projects like the Panama Canal involved tens of thousands of workers at any given time.
    ### Material Transportation and Sources
    **1. Moving Materials:**
Materials would likely be moved via a combination of railways, horse-drawn carts, and ships. In the late 19th century, railways were a primary mode of transporting heavy materials over long distances.
    **2. Sources of Materials:**
    - **Steel and Iron:** From local and international sources, as Europe had significant steel production capabilities.
    - **Timber:** Sourced locally or from nearby countries with abundant forests.
    - **Stone:** Quarried locally or imported from nearby regions with suitable geological formations.
    - **Concrete:** Mixed on-site using local aggregates.
    ### Reasons for Dismantling
    **1. Temporary Structures:**
Many structures built for world's fairs were intended to be temporary. They were often constructed quickly and designed for short-term use.
    **2. Cost of Maintenance:**
Maintaining such large and elaborate structures can be prohibitively expensive. The cost and effort required to keep them in good condition often outweigh the benefits once the fair is over.
    **3. Space Utilization:**
The land used for the fair might be repurposed for other developments, such as parks, housing, or commercial projects, which could offer more long-term economic benefits.
    **4. Historical Precedent:**
Many world's fairs have seen their structures dismantled post-event. For example, the 1893 Chicago fair structures were mostly temporary and were dismantled or destroyed after the event concluded.
In summary, constructing a hypothetical 1893 World's Fair in France would require tens of thousands of workers over several years, substantial resources, and a complex logistics operation. The reasons for dismantling after the event would primarily revolve around the temporary nature of the structures and the cost of maintenance.

They tore them down BECAUSE they were for the fair..and they were able to built them so quick because they were built super cheap...which again..was one of the main reasons they had to tear them down afterwards. What is "bullshit" is the idea that you can attract million of people to your fair with buildng nothing eye-pleasing...and that was the dilemma of the organizers. So they had to built big..but they also had to get rid of the buildings..so they didn't had to maintain them. So building them the way we would built a movie set today was the best solution. And if you FIND such marvelous palaces tearing them down would make. NO sense. And if you want to keep them a secret for some reason you don't invite mio. of people.

Thats hardly a mystery...the same way it isn't a mystery how they managed to built Disney World or a film set with temples and palaces....they used cheap materials that no-one would use to built buildings they want to keep for a while.
Instead of marble and stone they mostly used plaster wood and other stuff, and that was the first time they used spray paint.
There is a BIG difference between carving some ornaments out of MARBLE and making it out of plaster.
You show how much cranes and people say had just to dry up the swamp, now imagine what happens if they hired every worker or company available?
The results where accordingly. Soon after the exihibtion the people got rid of most of the buildings...which they wouldn't havedone if they "found" the whole thing. Btw...how would you even be able to miss it? Hard to believe that people just lived next to it for half a century without noticing the marble palaces.
But again...we can see how it was used..and wha tthe buildings are..and they are VERY clearlynot palaces or anything like that but exhibition halls. And it also becomes very clear who built them and when...if you look at the style typical for the 19th century, and also how the styles match the Pavillions, so we see not just Neo-classical architecture but also Chinese Pagodes or Arab-looking palaces. Makes a lot of sense for a world fair..but not for a mysterious city discovered.
And the palace of fine arts survived because it was built better than the rest (for insurance reasons..because the museums didn't wanted to put their art-work in the cheaply built buildings)...but even it was built extremely cheap compared to usual buildings which why it only lasted a few years before going out of service and decaying into a ruin.
The palace we see today was the fully rennovated version from the 70ties,
So...the only mystery is why people think its a mystery if they have the answers right in front of their nose.

This topic always intrigues me. My husband’s great great grandfather is Francis Davis Millet, the painter, who invented the spray paint technique utilized in Chicago’s World Fair. He died on the Titanic.

How does it feel if people rather think some secret civllization has done that instead of your forefathers?
Its so sad people think our civilization is stupid...while at the same time proving their point. I bet there will be people in the future who won't believe we were able to built what we built if they see videos like that.

2 years to build? No problem in 1890s... no labor union workers dragging out the timeline to suck off of the cash cow. If you don't get the work done you don't get paid and no excuses.
