What is the history of the devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus? When Jesus was born, our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph were the first to adore the Holy Face of Jesus. Veronica, during the passion of Jesus, broke through the mob and wiped Jesus' face. Tradition holds that Veronica's veil reveals to us, through a miraculous image, the face of Jesus. The veil is kept in St. Peter’s Basilica. We also have the Shroud of Turin as an object of devotion, revealing to us the Holy Face of Jesus.
Jesus said to Sr. Marie of St. Peter: "I seek more Veronicas to console and adore my Divine Face, which has but few worshippers. He made me understand anew that all those who devoted themselves to this work of Reparation would perform the same office as Veronica." [Our Lord to Sr. Marie St. Peter on October 27th, 1845]

I’ve been praying this with 1-2 other parishioners each Tuesday for the past several months. We are trying to promote within our parish.

Ken, I agree. The time is now for all of us who know better to join in a Holy Circle of Prayer, united through Jesus, to God, and expel the demons who are roosting in our communities, even in our families! We can do this TOGETHER! The Holy Face of Jesus is a torment to the Devil.

Ken, I am a member of the Arch Confraternity and every Tuesday I devote an hour of Adoration to the Blessed Sacrament praying the prayers and Chaplet for the Holy Face of Jesus. After this hour of adoration, I attend Mass. This is definitely the devotion for these times! I kiss the holy Face scapular every morning in honor of Our Blessed mother who kissed his most precious face in her arms below the cross. Only show they Face, O’Lord Jesus and we shall be saved 🙏🏻♥️🌹

When my daughter was 13she had a dream about devotion to holy Face. I bought her a gold medal she wore until she had her first child. I pray she goes back to the faith. Ty for sharing this

Years ago, when I was about 9, a priest friend of my dad's gave me a picture of the Holy Face from the Shroud of Turin. It affected my heart deeply and I felt this card was very special. Years later, in my 40's, I was in Adoration on Tuesdays, when I discovered this devotion from a booklet in the chapel.
I agree that now we are all being called to pray this, especially during these times when so many people are confused and have lost faith.

Yes, about 2 months ago I joined a small group that meets at church on Tuesdays and prays the Holy Face prayers for about an hour. I love doing these prayers.

Hi Ken, yes some years ago I became aware of this devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus and I too felt moved to adore Him with this image. Fr. Heilman with the USGrace Force taught us to pray this in 2015 up to the elections in 2016... them I just found it again this year and pray it daily! What a treasure of a devotion! I've been sharing a lot!

I had a dream last week in which the Holy Face of Jesus was penetrating through me. It is Divine Providence that I am now viewing this video. I think The Holy Spirit needs me to join in this devotion for the reparations of sinners.
Absolutely! I pray the chaplet every day and just received in the mail the beads to pray the chaplet on, I was previously praying on the Our Lady of Sorrows beads. And I also received a beautiful picture of His Holy Face image which will be displayed in my home. I love the prayers and I believe the chaplet is powerful for fighting against communism as well. At least that is what I was told. I'm so happy that you did this video Ken and I look forward to many others you will be doing regarding His Holy Face. Thank you!

I just attended “Ignited by Truth” 2024 in Raleigh and Fr Carney was the first speaker re devotion to the Holy Face. The conference is shown on UA-cam. They gave us a Holy Card and medal. The speech was very moving and I am so glad that you have a video of the Chaplet. Fr Carney encouraged us to sign up for the Confraternity in whatever capacity we can. His new book on Preparation for Consecration to the Devotion Holy Face is coming out this month.

Thank you Ken, this is a powerful devotion. How important it is to pray it now, with so much evil around us and in reparation for the sins against the first three commandments which are so prevalent in the world today.
God seems to be speaking to many of us during this crucial time. Just heard of it myself during this prior Lenten season.
I am so thankful that you have started this chaplet because of all the sin and evil that seems to be surrounding us throughout the world right now... Also wanted to mention that I am so moved to see His eyes open and shut as we pray this chaplet together. I feel His adorable eyes looking directly towards me. I moved back to Brazil. We have 4 catholic channels. 2 of them pray regularly this chaplete. 🙏🏻
I fell in love with this devotion over 3 years ago. And pray it daily.
We have a priest in our diocese who's made it his mission to spread this devotion far and wide. Look up Fr. Lawrence Daniel Carney. You will find his book on the Holy Face, and numerous podcasts he's been on in recent months. Plus other books he's wrote in recent years.There's a new one being released soon.
Also look into starting or being part of an Arch-confraternity, league of St. Martin. I'm blessed to be only 45 min from where the annual conference is held. The 3 days are scheduled in November to include the Feast of St. Martin. There are talks, Latin Masses, and a procession around the Church with men holding up statues of St. Martin, and St. Michael. It's such a glorious 3 days. Some fly in from around the Country.
My monthly meetings are in the home of Father Carney's parents. Father has joined us a number of times. Such a wise, holy, and humble priest.
I believe it was when Father was the priest for the Carmelites in Gower Missouri that he was introduced to this wonderful devotion. He was there when Sr. Wilhelmina was still living. He was on the streets of St. Joe Missouri doing street evangelization. He is back in Wichita Kansas diocese where he's from at present. While traveling the Country to give talks on The Holy Face devotion.
If you haven't read the book The Golden Arrow please do. Its about the revelations of Sister Mary of St. Peter. It's excellent in having better understanding of this devotion. Then read God Demands Reparation The Holy Man of Tours, The life of Leo Dupont by Dorothy Scallan. You will be glad you are familiar with this background. They are books you can hardly put down.
I was extremely happy to see that Ken and Janelle have been introduced to this devotion, and are sharing it. Yes, it is much needed at this time.

The three churches in my city and have had devotions to the Holy Face of Jesus for several years. Each church has a large picture near the alter. I have a prayer card and say some prayers every day. But I didn't know about the chaplet and will be praying this too. Thanks for these podcasts about it.

This was one of my very first devotions as a converted (then finally faithful) Catholic-even before devotion to the Rosary. I even got some of the little pamphlets in bulk to share with parishioners. Watching this video makes me desire to start employing it again for the conversion of sinners. Thank you for this video!
Yes Ken. I’ve heard of this a few years ago and have a devotion to the Holy Face. How wonderful that the Holy Spirit put that prayer on your lips before you ever heard of this devotion! How Beautiful is Our God! It also was meant as a weapon to stop Communism. The Little Flower St Theresa had a great devotion to the Holy Face and a friend of mine who is a 3rd Order Carmelite (Lay Carmelite) gave me a blessed and framed picture of The Holy Face. I cherish it! May God bless her. I have since seen this picture in the background of a few Catholic UA-camrs. And other videos of this devotion popping up. Sadly though I spoke to one of our Priests about it and nothing was done to start a devotion there. I’m in NY.
I pray 2-3 times daily the reparation prayer:
Eternal Father I offer Thee the Holy Face of Jesus in reparation with its precious drops of Blood, beads of sweat, spittle and dust in reparation for all the blasphemy and sacrilege’s especially the sins of Communism and profanities against the Holy Name of God and the Sabbath Day.
Yes my friend recently started talking about this devotion and it’s special day is Tuesdays and God gave her a day off on you guessed it Tuesday!

I was introduced to it to a prayer group last year and have been praying it since. They exclude the 5 prayers that your HOLY FACE CHAPLET video has. I am glad you included it as sister Mary said it should be included. I use your video to pray the HOLY FACE at the 3 o clock hour after divine mercy chaplet. I was moved to pray it in that hour. Hi Ken. I have heard about this devotion before and have been praying he Golden Arrow prayer almost on a daily basis. At hoome we have the picture of the Holy Face of Jesus laminated and in our prayer corner.
Also in my parish, they have the picture on one of the smaller altars with candles (electronic) for people to light them on their intentions.

Thank you for this reminder. I have a paintng of the Holy face of Jesus that my husband loved and I am currently praying hard for the conversion of many in my family. Would like to add! The official picture of the Holy Face is the one of Saint Veronica! However the shroud of Turin face has been showing up but not from the Carmelites who started this devotional.
Yes you are correct the Official Image associated with these prayers is the Veil of Veronica and was approved as such by Pope Leo XIII
