Looking forward to part 2... brilliant video took me back to the good old days use to transit through Hungary on the way to Romania/Bulgaria had some great times in Eastern Europe they were the best days of my trucking career....
Lovely to see you Old Son! Please know that this old worn out bastard from the Western US loves your vdeos. Seeing parts of the world I'll never see is amazing. Thank you sir! Todd Konoske the retired trucker.
Great Video Ned. At first I thought 1:41... I'll be skipping bits of this - but I watched the whole thing. Good level of sensible chat throughout - love watching trucker videos. Good Job done.
Well Ned, I'm not normally a happy person, I probably laugh once every five years. Watching your trucking antics I've just laughed three times, now because of that I've got to go to hospital to get my ribs checked out. Remember the COVID slogan. HANDS, FACE, HOLD YER RIBS IN PLACE. Go safely.
Loved the video Ned, great to see you back uploading more regularly. It’s great that you share everything so you can get a real taste for the job and not just edit the mistakes out.
Great vlog Ned, original as always, the insertion of the national anthems was a masterpiece. I don't understand how an 8 pallet drop to Eastern Europe can possibly make sense. A Long way from Dublin, a real hard slog. Crappy roads as you say in Romania. Great to see you back on European jobs. Thanks for your hard work in editing and sharing :)
Just made my Sunday a hell of a lot better . Hope you and your crew ( moe , billy bhoy) are keeping well keep it to the floor , I’ve still done nothing about my trip back to Italy , might try next year LOL
Excellent vid Ned - thoroughly enjoyed! So much to see and couple of 'takeaways' for me were the excellent autobahn in Germany, the high speed of motorists and how well the German people have recovered from the devastation of some 80 years ago. Your efforts via editing to provide such entertainment is much appreciated.
Hi Ned, many thanks for taking the time to post and edit this video, in part 1 we get to see some of Eastern Europe, as you say never again, in my trucking days I would never have been able to deal with the stress, I look forward to part 2. Regards from Ray (the old sod) from North Wales.
@@NedKellyIreland Hi Ned there's nothing wrong with your humour, you still make me laugh at times, what do you mem old? you are just a lad compared to me, i'll be 79 in a few weeks..😊😊👍

Great video ned , can't wait for part 2. Met you in a garage recently ( They say you should never meet your HeroesHa Ha ) but seriously it was great to meet you Ned and I look forward to seeing more trips on your Vlog.

Really enjoy travelling with you, Ned. It brings back memories of riding with my dad, trucking from northern Canada down into the USA in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The trucks weren't nearly as fancy or powerful, of course, but it was good times, with the same sort of worries and pleasures that you have today. A lot fewer border crossings for dad, though, and no ferries, just bridges. All the best, lad.
Another great vid Ned. Funny at times, and as a driver myself i feel your pain and torment! Was never fussed for the old eastern block as in the late 80/early 90s everyone ( robbers ) had guns. Was surprised not to see the old donkey pulling the cart along the main roads, looks a bit more modern nowadays! By the way, used to get a few Skallys trying to flog you watches and leather jackets , tool kits etc on the Motorway services. Burtonwood Westbound was always crawling with skallys looking to trade with what you had in the back. Looking forward to Part 2.

My father was a truck driver for 12 years In Cork . So I'm watching and getting memories of the laughter and adventures I'd have with him in his trucks over the year's. He passed away 2 years ago. So it's nice to watch truck videos it brings back so many memories for shore. Pity about the diesel ⛽ prices I know a few drivers layed of because of it. Its a shame. I'm a good driver but I never drove trucks only because of the hours Mt father used have to do like he could be up at 5 am and finished about 7 to 10 that night and start again the next day. But Ned, you always make our grey skies blue ! And the now motorway but then old express road ( a motorway with crossings and traffic lights) from Jabbeke in the direction of Ghent is the road where the British used to test cars like the Jaguar XK 120 the Triumph TR 2 and the Rover turbine car for straight line speed. Regensburg and Passau are beautiful cities to be, very old and nice situated on the Danube river, Passau is on the Danube, the Inn river and the Ilz river. It is actually very nice to take a trip and follow the Danube by car passing through all the small places in Germany, Austria and Hungary.
