Back in the 70s we didnt take a break. The only break you got was waiting for a load or waiting for a ferry or if you had some kind of trouble. Otherwise twas all go.
Hi Merle. As seamus said back in the 70's and 80s and even early 90s Breaks were taken when you were waiting on customs papers or loading or ferries ⛴ or parked at borders. Now a days familiar faces are only on facetime as nobody has time for anyone else unfortunately & with speed limiters you can't run together anymore as everyone is going different speeds

I’ve been a mechanic all my life qualified in expensive cars but flip flop has just reminded be that this chapter nots over yet. I don’t want to stink of diesel anymore just want to hit Europe. My misses is a Australian try living with that. Never stop laughing and giving a fuck your UA-cam channel is great. Your the reason I want to become a lorry driver, one ☝️ love.
Amazing how the public can't have parties but 420 of you truckers can mingle together in a somewhat confined space. Me and grandad (he drove for astran) used to park in Folkestone Harbour Truck Park. Good Craic in that place 👌

Looking in the supermarket and the beers. What I could never ever understand is when on the ferry, the amount of holidaymakes or day trippers buying beer on the boat, when its so much cheaper in the supermarkets.
