Furthermore, Jimmy Snuka is also a murderer whom didn't get convicted due to his poor health prior to his death. Wrestling in general is had a dark history full of murder, suicide, drugs and tragic accidents.

Benoit was using a diving headbutt move for years and years before ever entering a WWE ring and thats a fact. His brain was already scrambled by the time he left WCW as in Japan he got some absolute beatdowns been a smaller western guy. Benoit only was in WWE for part of his career. Not excusing Vince but end of the day Benoit's choice of moves and risk hurt himself long before you ever get into the steroids encouraged by WCW/WWE at the time. WCW had Hogan, Goldberg, Nash etc at the top of the card so Benoit got on the steroids before WWE. If Vince got sued Ted Turner should have also. Basically the same in both companies and in Japan.

Coming from the North East of England myself its always interesting to see a Geordie perspective on these matters.
Rowdy piper stopped wrestling in 2003 but stayed around for years after. The 'beef' came from podcast stuff years later. He died in 2015
