Thank you for this great demo. And not saying “game changer” 😂
Ah the future! This reminds me of way back when people dropped large phones for smaller ones. Just amazing what can fit in small enclosures.
Thank you for using clean tones - can hear the music, therefore can make a decision
Just got one. Ditched three full sized pedals for this. With two options- clean and drive. Less is sooo much more…
so happy to see Bluey Tele...
Wow!!! Excellent demo of all these features. I'm getting one.
Awesome! Hope you enjoy it :)
Very cool box of tones. Unlimited possibilities!
Absolutely! Great to hear from you!
Tasty playing! Looking forward your NAM player pedal review ❤
Hello Jay, what reverb did you use at 4:05 ..... it sounds rather good!! Thanks for a great video!!!! Subscribed!!!!
The built in spring-style reverb from Tonex.
Great video!
The best review!
Thanks!
Nice review, I hope you can make that fuzz capture public!
Another very helpful demo, with inspiring energy and playing! I don't like having to connect anything to a computer, which is why I've avoided T.C. Electronics' mini pedals... though this demo has me rethinking that. I'm all about conserving pedal board real estate. I'd probably go with the mini version.
For logistical reasons, I also only use amp sim pedals in performing and practice. Consequently, a few questions along those lines:
- amp purists complain that amp sim pedals feel "squishy" and not as responsive as amps themselves. A friend of mine, a self-identified amp tone snob, noted that the Amp1 by BluGuitar did *not* feel that way, since it's actually an amp. Can you comment on the Tonex One in this regard ("squishiness")?
- any thoughts on how it compares with the Walrus ACS1, Strymon Iridium, and Universal Audio Dream '65 amp sim pedals? To me, that's very stiff competition, though it beats them in terms of size.
- I prefer to run as clean a tone as possible, and then use overdrive, distortion or fuzz pedals when I need those tones. This gives the most versatility. The ACS1 seems to have a better pure clean tone than the other two. The Amp1 seems to be able to get a really good clean tone using the Lo-Fi option, but it takes up much more pedal board space than any of the others. Using their software, how good a clean tone can be created from the Tonex One for things like jazz, or fingerstyle that should be played on acoustic but instead is being played on electric?
Hi Jay, I am a fan of your channel, sound adjustments and configuration. May I ask for clarification regarding wiring, soldering and switch if your most recent videos. You divided it into two parts. Second part used a parallel 2x5 „tongue“ switch to get signal. Is the first sound and wiring/switching done with a „one row“ 5-switch (standard)?
Thanks for support. CU on stage… stay cool. Johann, Germany
You don't happen to share the goodsell amp capture? 😉
Look up JLJ at the ToneNet section of the app. My Goodsell should be there :)
@@JayLeonardJ The man!
Grest demo and playing and enthusiasm
Thanks!
I like the small size , makes more sense to integrate it with other pedals.
Definitely agree. I actually may like the ONE compared to the bigger version for my needs :)
Dig the new hairdo 🤘
Thanks brother!! Hope your digging your new axe :)
Can it be connected to a MIDI controller??😊
How did you remember all those secret button codes to get those different setups and modes? Does the pedal come with a cheatsheet?
Hey J. How did you capture? Did you use the SE Tonex S/W that came with the one? Please explain. (I have a One coming next week). Thanks !!!!!
I used the TONEX Capture Box with my Goodsell. But you can capture with any good DI and Reamp box.
@@JayLeonardJ Thank you! Really appreciated! Your reviews are always the best!
For that review, did you listen to the sound coming from your computer's monitors, or a frfr speaker? Thank you!
What you hear is the sound of the pedal plugged directly into my interface. What I heard in the studio was my it coming out of a FRFR speaker .
@@JayLeonardJ thank you! What do you use these days? Fender?
Digital Fizz! Give me one REAL tube amp and I'm happy.
You want the best amount in your pocket?
Boss Katana Go.
💯
I’m about to sell everything I own…. Damn 😭
Where's your hair Jay
Seems like it made its way down to my chin and upper lip, haha.
If I want to sell this ‘hardware’ does the new owner have to pay license transfer fee again in order to use it 😂
F*** this company 🤬
