I bought three king palms in triple cluster about a year ago. I didn’t immediately notice that they looked different from other king palms until I planted them in the ground. But then as I was admiring them I got curious and googled king palms to them learn there are six different species. I’ve been studying the differences of the species and I’m pretty sure now that these 3 clusters are the maxima species. I’m really looking forward to seeing these mature. They are currently about 6 feet tall but already the crowns are thick and nice lime green color.

I live Archontophoenix palms! They are very tropical looking and can handle a little cold weather from time to time, especially cunninghamiana.
