Dartford Warbler

As the days get longer and warmer and spring begins, so the birds start setting up territories.
It's this time of year I go searching for Dartford Warblers. Once a real rarity in the UK, they have expanded their range thanks to habitat restoration and we are lucky enough to see them regularly in Hampshire.
The males' have such character with their long tails, beautiful colouring and head crest.
