- Part 2 of the aircooled 911 rebuild. I finished restoring and refinishing a lot of parts and I am ready to assemble soon. The Motor is a 2.4L MFI motor from a 1973 911T
This Porsche build is going to end up being your favorite build
Dude, so entertaining watching this Porsche rebuilt and resto. Wish I had the knowledge myself so watching you guys has been really great! I know your thoughts on this UA-cam stuff, but try to keep the projects coming and your enthusiastic high!
Thanks!
Great build. Great content. Wish you the best!!
Great progress as usual!! That thing will be running in no time! Might have to have you guys rebuild an engine for me down the line 😁
That gold tint went crazy🤣 went to mexico
I'm not too keen on air cooled engines, but its pretty interesting that the cylinders are also individual as well as the cylinder heads. Honestly never really seen that before
It’s super interesting to me. I love it. The power? Not so much 😂
A) I know it takes twice as long to film stuff but you’ll be so glad you did when it’s all done and you can watch the progress again (and rewatch when you’re 60)
B) curious - did you sent an overall budget or are you more concerned with just getting the car where you want it?
I don’t hate the process as much as I anticipated but it is definitely time consuming.
I sort of had a budget in mind, which was to not let the all-in cost be greater than simply buying a great example car that’s already done.
Those pistons look low comp .. what spec engine you building?
Std 2.4 T is like 8:1 or something pretty low .. why not put in E pistons & Cams? Make a better motor ...
Completely stock rebuild. I’m not looking to split hairs on an extra bit of hp here. Went with a brand new OEM MAHLE piston/cylinder set, personal preference. And it’s actually 7.5:1 even lower.
no ls swap on the fd
Nahhhh. Jz sounds are way too good
