Land Rover Discovery 1 300TDi Oil change and Fuel filter change with no experience 😅

I have no idea what’s happening… usually ever. But especially when I’m under the bonnet or under the truck. Enjoy while I make an ass out of myself 😎

1) only use the copper crush washer - don't use a second washer for sump drainplug 2) put oil on the gaskets of both filters before installing 3) put oil in the oil filter before installing - let it soak the paper filter for 5 mins before installing.

@@hawaiirover some models came out with different size drainplugs. The kits include both size washers to thus cover both options.

Please wait for the Glow Plug light in the dashboard to go out before starting up the engine (looks like a coiled spring and is illuminated orange), hope this helps, thanks

you are so lucky to get the diesel engine - NAS only has thirsty v8 gas engine

The priming lever on the fuel lift pump will only work with the engine on cylinder no.1 on tdc. Check out www.youtube.com/@BritannicaRestorations/videos lots of info on 300tdi engines.
