This video talks about the benefit of unrolling hay. It mentions Ray's Crazy mixes of seeds to plant for forage. It discusses the importance of using electric polywire fencing to partition pastures into different paddocks to increase (double?) grazing density and increase the rest time between animal exposure to the land. The idea to get started and create grazing strips and make animals walk to water until infrastructure for water can be installed.
This was a good video and halfway through I found with the overhead power point, I had no trouble following along at 1.25 Speed setting. Could have had a question and answer at the end but there may have been none.
Silvopasture is more productive than pasture so investigate planting appropriate trees species. Consider installing Owl nest boxes as they eat rodents that host ticks, attract and feed Bobcats, Coyotes and pit vipers. Barn, Screech and Northern Saw-Whet Owls rely on nesting cavities to rear chicks.
