The first 20 minutes sounds like a swirling mass of days of future past experienced by our patient as she "sees" images and events rushing through her soul and mind. In this village was man who in polish(I'm from Poland and in our country are more than 95% Catholics) prayer named trisagion is place where we praying "Save us from sudden death". This phrase has never been said by this man. Because he want to die sudden without pain. And someday he just hasn't woke up.

I think they have a psycho-active effect, yes. I don't think it works for everyone equally, however.
