Daigo has gotten so well known for his Ryu and Evil Ryu play that, on some occasions, he’s mistakenly been called “Ryu” by commentators (see 0:28). THAT is how you know you’ve made a name for yourself. Props to the Beast, I learn a lot from watching him
Daigo's always preferred more long range, zoning playstyles. I guess SFV's Ryu just doesn't fit Daigo as well as previous versions of Ryu, hence why he plays Guile in that game. He seems pretty happy with Ryu in SF6 though from what he's played of the demo.
@@kyuketsukirook Honestly? I hope he dual wields in SF6 with a Ryu focus, 'cause that would be hella hype to see. One thing he has gone on record saying is he hated that ever since Season 2 MURDERED Ryu to hell, even after finally getting put back in the game in Season 5, there was no point to Ryu when Guile did everything better, and he does not want the same thing to happen again here, regardless of who gets outclassed.
@@faderg7506 True but this can apply to any player/character combo. We miss the days when character loyalty and by extension specialists were an actual thing but starting with Season 2, it forced such players to drop their favorites and ngl, it made SFV boring to watch since then
“Where’s the champion? Where is Daigo?”
Already seeking the next challenge. Ceremony means nothing to him.
The fight is all.
Too late but:
He must train harder!!!
There will never be another Daigo, simply the best!!!
0:08 THE LEGENDARY DP INVENCIBLE

Those gootecks's orgasms xD
Thank's for the up !
Keep coming MOAR USF :D
It's bad to watch too much Daigo, you start thinking that you can see and understand his strengths.
Where's the Daigo Ryu in SFV these days? He FINALLY got the glow up, why no Ryu?

Daigo fell off but people just can’t let it go and like to keep anything about him alive.
