Awesome video brother. Man a bad time for the ac to quit. That's usually when mine goes out the hottest day of the summer. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible weekend. Much love and RESPECT
That 455 went to the perfect home, its looking amazing my friend. Definitely does not look like the same engine I brought to No Name Nationals las year. I understand about the wallet, I have an AC unit thats on its last leg after the storm sent debris through the coils. This is why I bought another cheap 402 for the truck instead of trying to force the 481 in it before September. Good work , keep it coming.
Right on! That's right, I don't want to go deeper in debt. Besides the Skylark is a running and driving car now. I'm gonna have fun either way! See ya soon, brother.
Just hang in there and good luck! I am building one myself even though it is a slow process, I think that it will be nice if I can get the Skylark built properly,it needs alot of work as well, from brakes, booster, master cylinder, all new front end parts, a new rear axle and a transmission, not to mention interior parts as well.
@@BuckDOESIT thank you for the confidence. I wanted to tell you that you are really doing a good job, and I love it when we old guys do it the old school way, especially with brands like the Buick which alot of people have no understanding of just how powerful Buick engines can be. In was fortunately enough to find a guy that had a 1974 Stage 1 out of a Riviera that I am in the process of rebuilding, to install in a 1966 stock Skylark. After by brother let two Stage 1 engines get away from our family, and in the mid 1990s he sold his all original 1972 Gran Sport Stage1 Skylark that he had for years, and even though the 1970 Stage1 we had was the 70 model, it was not really any faster than his original 72 engine was. I pulled out his original engine and installed my Dad's 70 model engine while I overhauled his 72 engine which only had 8.5 to one compression, while the 70 model had 10 to 1, but you could tell no difference in the power in one year model over the other, and we had done nothing to the heads except a basic valve job on them.
Hey Buck, we all hit those little roadblocks in this crazy thing called life. Glad you are able to Chill Out again.
You got that right! I will overcome and adapt!!
Life happens sometimes. Glad you got your AC fixed. 455 is looking beautiful Buck!
