I just bought a bnew LiDE 300, thanks to your video!!❤❤❤ After installing the driver you described here, however, I noticed there was an "extra" software installed altogether: Canon Inkjet Printer/Scanner/Fax Extended Survey Program...is this essential to keep or is it okay to uninstall it??

Its just a survey program which is not compulsory to keep.

Another thing important...there is a "Canon Inkjet Print Utility" that is strange to me because when I click it, there is a small message box that appears and tells me to install its driver. What is this program and why was it included in the driver package (that was downliaded from the Canon webpoage)?

I was able to get it to work, surprsingly. Sadly, the dpi would not work correctly for 2400. Not sure what was going on, so I gave up.@@RubyRoar530

Canon is not a responsible company. Here in Peru I bought two Canonsacn LIDE400 and they came failed. error 2,156,33 apears. I contacted Canon company and they full me around advising me things that do not fix the problem. Watch out. These are the serial if you do not believe me: KLXC15915 and KLXC17725.
